  1. Doka was used to fighting Carmilla, she had been one of the reason Doka had improved so much in the last few days, the woman was one of the few people Doka would even say she enjoyed to fight. This battle between the two was different though, it wasn't a friendly battle that Doka got a few Dimes for, it was a battle for the Dragon to break Carmilla's faith.
  2.
  3. The two's battle was intense, a constant back and forth brawl between the sword wielders. Eventually the point of the battle came when the Dragon was forced to activate her Mangekyo, the boost to her sight not only won Doka the battle but helped her realize something she had suspected during the battle.
  4.
  5. She had been trying to dodge more than hit.
  6.
  7. As her friend laid defeated on the sand Doka began stepping closer to her... Only to stop halfway to the woman.
  8.
  9. "Why put your faith in someone that doesn't care about you!? Why isn't he here to stop this!?" As she continued yelling at Carmilla the ghostly ribcage that the sharingan wielder usually used began to form... It was different though.
  10.
  11. Now it had two skeletal arms accompanying it along with a demonin looking skull that stared down at the defeated woman. One of the hands reached out to pick Carmilla from the ground and bring her nearly face to face with Doka.
  12.
  13. "Is this the strength your faith gave you? If it's really as strong as you think it is wouldn't I be the one that was beaten up? You forged a sword straight out of yourself! Have you ever thought that maybe it was because of the faith you had in yourself!?"
  14.
  15. "You need to find your own purpose Carmilla. I'm gonna help you do that."*
  16. *Carmilla fought against Doka heavily, her blades cutting into Doka as her own blade smashed into her. The battle went on long, her attacks more wary than usual but equally as dangerous as they normally were against the Dragonic woman, but unfortunately that was not what she required against such an unstoppable force.
  17.
  18. Eventually, it came to an end as Doka had slammed her into the dirt, her body heavily injured as she lay there and gasped in pain and tiredness, before Doka made her way over to her.
  19.
  20. Her teeth grit, a wince in her despite the pain and then being grabbed by one of the skeletal arms that were part of Doka's skeletal armor.
  21.
  22. "He's...He's not here because he's busy...Why-Why would a god come down to help just one person when he's with you guys!" She shouted back, wincing slightly at doing so.
  23.
  24. "Of course...I know my Faith is my own strength now...But I still give it to Ishtar as well...I owe him." She finished with, her fate in Doka's skeletal hands as she then went quiet.*
  25. *Alex ||
  26.
  27. Alex watched the battle, and it was somewhat close, but this was the second person to come here seeking a fight. He wasn't sure how to feel about this and the fact Doka wanted to capture Carmilla.
  28.
  29. "I hate to rain on your victory, but if you continue trying to take her, you'll have to fight me. So now that we have that out of the way, I suggest you leave her to guard duty, or you prepare to face me."
  30.
  31. Alex held his sword out at Doka; he wasn't a fan of all these repeated battles. He didn't have time to think, and he didn't have time to prepare himself better. He sighed.
  32.
  33. He would either save Carmilla or fail training, but one thing is for certain he wasn't about to sit there and watch. It doesn't matter what Doka thinks or what she's attempting to do.
  34.
  35. Alex is what stood in her way; whether she'd face him or not was still up in the air, but he was ready for any outcome, no matter what it might be.
  36.
  37. (injury intent)*
  38. *Doka // "That god would help you because they care about you. You don't owe him anything, especially now. You've guarded this place long enough." The woman was gently placed back on the sand before Doka turned towards Alex.
  39.
  40. She doubted there was any chance of bring Carmilla back with her with him now stepping in to the battle but she had to try at the very least, even if she might die.
  41.
  42. "You're just like her, aren't you? I'll beat that faith from you to."
  43.
  44. Her sword was raised once more, this time towards a different foe.
  45.
  46. (Injury Intent)*
