I think the list of DFU partitions may be hardcoded in the DFU code of
u-boot.  To be honest, it's close to 5 years when I wrote that code, I
hardly remember it.

You can verify this assumption by looking at the 'dfu-util -l' output.

If yes, you will have to manually modify the USB DFU descriptors in the
u-boot source.
