Tanaka's Vision

The woman on the bed sits up, her long dress fading from sight and into a shining golden breastplate. Her empty hand grasps a greatsword, and she narrows her eyes at the party. "Return that to me, now. It is not yours to take." Grimm instinctively held the book closer to him. Now that he was close, he could see the woman's fangs. "RETURN THE BOOK TO ME!"

Her eyes shone with a white light, and the party's vision dimmed.

Tanaka found himself surrounded on all sides by demons, snarling and clawing to get to him. Holding onto their chains was the one he recognized as his Daddy. He looked at Tanaka. "Knowledge begets knowledge" He frowned slightly before continuing. "It is my duty to see that this world doesn't fall into the hands of The King of all Darkness. That book is the key to that. Others have failed. Silas failed. It is now your turn to do what he could not. Finish that tome."

Tanaka shook his head and found himself back in the room, him and his party all bewildered. "So, that is it. You've come seeking MY treasure for your petty war. You won't be leaving with it. You won't be leaving with your lives." She raised her sword, and the battle began.
