  1. [18:18] {NARRATION} The roadless traveled, stone movement being made as the group of cadets moved in unison with the horse and an old man as their guide. Their destination was simple, the village of Syraea.
  2.
  3. At first, it was a beautiful, rural area that was under the influence of the King and the Petrakis alike. However, thanks to the sacking of it, the bandits that were once afraid to come here overthrew the mayor of the town and made their own place in their own special way.
  4.
  5. Brute force, terror, and lives that were taken. The smell of blood was in the air and never ending, yet the old man guiding the group here could only speak with a forked tongue and in an accent.
  6.
  7. "I thank ya fer comin', but ya best turnin' ya back ta Nysea. They ain't like tha peopl' that come."
  8.
  9. "Ya hearts in tha right place, but ya too young. But, heck, who am I to stop ya?"
  10.
  11. The old man finally reaches the entrance of the village, and the first thing that they see, isn't so pretty.
  12.
  13. There's roads that were dropped down and turned. Starving women and even more hungry men. Children? Well, the group and look around and see that they were mourning the loss of some, but those that survived were hungry, starving, and dying...
  14.
  15. Yet at the very center? They could spot and see that there was a mega church with a golden look of Calael Kang, the first of many Saints on the top of it.
  16.
  17. "It's bout midnight," the old man said. "Ya sur' ya want ta investgate? There's a motel to tha' side if ya want to rest."
  18.
  19. What will the group do?
  20. [18:24] A mission given by the King that he had sworn oaths too.
  21.
  22. The forked roads led the small group of three across the vast land, eventually arriving closer towards their destination where rumours of the band of roaming bandits had only recently been spotted.
  23.
  24. Syraea.
  25.
  26. "We've been given orders by the King. Bandits constantly harrying merchants that bring trade towards our village. They're to be put down for good."
  27.
  28. Two emerald orbs scanned across the surrounding, the tint of iron that pervaded the air slowly wafting into his nostrils as he paused for a moment to scan around the entrance to Syraea.
  29.
  30. Desolation.
  31.
  32. Pyralis had expected such knowing the lack of trade that was brought forth towards the village. Abandoned so long ago by the Empire that had fallen, but getting such a personal view of women and children so evidently struggling with hunger.
  33.
  34. Gauntlet covered hands clenched, his gaze flickering towards the old man that had led them closer, before finally shifting towards the pair that had offered to aid him in the mission.
  35.
  36. "A motel would be good, I have some coin to offer to the owner for giving us a room."
  37.
  38. An amiable smile for the old man as he turned to offer quiet words towards Yuri and Roland. His distrust made evident as he whispered words of an opposite nature.
  39.
  40. Another plan, to sneak out at night in search of the village.
  41. (Pyralis)
  42. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  43.
  44. [18:24] Pyralis whispers: We'll sneak out at night and properly look around the village.
  45. [18:26] Bandits were harassing a village of people, a threat that Roland could not ignore when asked to assistance. He brings with him his sword, his robes and his wits. The cosmic magic at his command would be used to defend not only himself and his fellow cadets, but those that had asked of him to fight to free their village from bandit control.
  46.
  47. Pyralis is, of course, the one leading the brains of the operation. It was only fair whatever plan came to be, came from his agreement as well. "Yeah, a motel would be nice." Roland glances to the others, uncertain as to whether or not they should trust this elderly man in particular. Though he made a good guide, something felt off for the Pelleaux Cadet.
  48.
  49. He does not voice his discontent, merely following along. The dutiful noble saw no reason to cast any suspicions just yet.
  50. (Roland Pelleaux)
  51. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  52.
  53. [18:31] {NARRATION} The decision to go to a motel was given, and a single nod of the old man would finish and come as the old man lead them down the road and make a right. The motel itself felt as if there was a sudden chill, a coldness that could be traced from even a few meters away as the got closer.
  54.
  55. Yet, the old man warns them of what may come, as one should as a guide.
  56.
  57. "Ya bes' be careful at tha dead o' night, some o' tha people that come would b' found gone o' dead come mornin'."
  58.
  59. "Ya bes' keep ya wits to ya, but, ya magi, so who am I ta say that ta ya?"
  60.
  61. The group of the people enter the motel, and to their suprise, it wasn't that bad. The decorations were as if the Motel was kept in tip top condition. When the group enters inside, they can look to the left and right and see that there was ample food as well as drinks. A book shelf and the front man waiting to give them their key.
  62.
  63. Ominous, perhaps, but at the end, who would deny hospitality from someone that was so kind and endearing?
  64.
  65. "Your room is up to the right, five doors down, it's fit for four."
  66.
  67. The key was slid over towards Pyralis, and the group can easily go into the room.
  68. [18:40] Pyralis's head slowly nodded towards the Old Man as he offered out the key for the room. A moment of his gaze placed onto the key as he glided his sight over the item, before offering a final nod of gratitude.
  69.
  70. "Thank you for all the help."
  71.
  72. The warning about going outside had been noted, and only reinforced his plan to depart within the night in search of anything suspicious within the town that had rumours circulating as of late.
  73.
  74. A step led the Cadet towards the door, key instantly slotted inside to unlock the room. His head tilted to the side to signal the pair to follow as he opened the door fully, stepping inside first.
  75.
  76. "Well then.."
  77.
  78. The door closed behind them, a moment of pause as he waited for the foot steps of the Old Man to rescind away, before finally he spoke. A seriousness held within his sight as he moved towards the window.
  79.
  80. "The information that the King provided placed the bandits somewhere around Syraea. Or within the village."
  81.
  82. Women and children starving, such an easily preyed upon town.
  83.
  84. "We can look around soon."
  85.
  86. His gaze turned towards the mega church. The look of a Saint placed atop it causing eyes to wander.
  87.
  88. "The church first. We could get into contact with an acolyte or priest."
  89.
  90. The First Light and the Faith held close ties. And so surely would they be given further information when it came to the village they were investigating.
  91. (Pyralis)
  92. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  93.
  94. [18:41] How could he be late on the first task he was enrolled into? This was terrible. Curse those short legs. Clinking and clanking all around the young Yuri hurried not too far from the rest of his team, attempting to catch up to them and only making his presence known a bit too late.
  95.
  96. He pushed the door of the motel, attempting to enter at full speed.
  97.
  98. "Sorry that I'm-"
  99.
  100. His axe promptly knocked against the doorway, forcing his advance to a sudden halt and leading to his rear finding the floor.
  101.
  102. ".. Ow..."
  103.
  104. He got up, slowly, quietly, and finally managed to gather with the others.
  105.
  106. "You.. You think someone would do that? Crime from the church?"
  107. (Yuri)
  108. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  109.
  110. [18:42] The bookcase was the first thing he laid eyes upon, gawking at the collection of books as he proceeds to file in after Pyralis. The entrance into the shared room prompts him to hold his breath, waiting for the eventual departure of the kind guide before he too, would begin speaking.
  111.
  112. "We should get into contact with the church first, definitely." A curt nod is given to Pyralis and Yuri. "If anyone knows anything about the situation, it'd be them. I doubt any villagers would want to have us help them..."
  113.
  114. The faith would have to do. Roland himself was fully prepared to head to the church, his eyes upon Pyralis that burned with a desire to unburden the town of it's banditry problem.
  115. (Roland Pelleaux)
  116. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  117.
  118. [18:45] {NARRATION} (Roll a /random 1 20 for me please!)
  119. [18:51] {NARRATION} A wonderful room for people to enjoy a night in that went horribly, horribly wrong.
  120.
  121. The windows were locked, the door was locked shut tightly, and all escape seem to be nearly impossible as the room started to get colder and colder by the second. It would eventually freeze over and thanks to how much of a trap it was, there was only one way to get out.
  122.
  123. Yuri, can be that way out without any questions, but how would he do such a thing?
  124.
  125. Roland could assist, but for Pyralis, the poor man, he was frozen cold that not even the fires would be able to really save him from this type of cold. Trust in friends is more important than trust in oneself.
  126.
  127. What will Yuri and Roland do? Will Pyralis even survive this trap? What will happen once they get out?
  128. [18:55] Cold.
  129.
  130. Way too cold.
  131.
  132. Yuri thought the night would be a good night, but unfortunately it quickly turned into a nightmare. The boy's shivering body moved on its own when the temperature started getting too low for his own happiness. He was going to open the door and let some warmth from below rush in, yet he found it locked.
  133.
  134. A few shakes changed nothing.
  135.
  136. "Um... I- We're locked in here!"
  137.
  138. Had it not been for his overwhelming cowardice and his poor sense of self control in scary situations the boy wouldn't have made a clear attempt to cleave down the door with his oversized axe.
  139.
  140. Who would do that as a guest in a motel?
  141.
  142. A fear-fueled strike was launched towards the door, hoping to get help with the fact it was locked.
  143. (Yuri)
  144. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  145.
  146. [18:57] The decrease in temperature was easily felt by the fire-magi. Even as flames tried to push back the bitter cold, it was of no use. The cold seemed to constantly close around him as he eventually became helpless, not even his flames capable of pushing back the biting cold.
  147.
  148. Two orbs peering towards the pair that could afford him aid, his fingers constantly attempting to move, to curl around the handle of his blade as his joints locked up.
  149.
  150. "Li.. Little help would be nice."
  151.
  152. Shivers so evident within his words, Pyralis's jaw clenched as he realised that they had walked into a trap, his suspicions before not helping when it came to the matter.
  153.
  154.
  155. (Pyralis)
  156. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  157.
  158. [19:03] Yuri had gone for the door, leaving the rescue of Pyralis to him. While his own body rapidly froze over from the chilling, creeping sensation that crawled up his spine, Roland began to channel his cosmic magic into his body. It would provide some measure of warmth, something to keep the cold at bay as he thus turned towards Pyralis.
  159.
  160. A ray of light is shot out towards the youth, chipping away at the frost to bathe Pyralis in the warmth of the stars. "Biblos! Heed my call! Our souls freeze over and require your light! Bend away the bitter bite of frost and let our vessels remain warm!" The light does its job, hopefully, to free Pyralis before the frost would overtake him.
  161. (Roland Pelleaux)
  162. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  163.
  164. [19:07] {NARRATION} Well, with the strength of Yuri and that giant axe, they were able to chop open and push open the locked door all at once with just power alone.
  165.
  166. Roland was able to call forth their mighty star, letting the NORTH STAR rain down on both him and Pyralis, warming them up and getting them to escape. When they all got out, however, they were met with men in all black. A golden pendant with the signs of the church being there.
  167.
  168. Gold upon gold, even on the necklace that they wore. Yet, when they saw that the three Magi escaped alive, they ran screaming profanities.
  169.
  170. "Ah shit! The Stellus is going to kill us!" said the fat man in all black, what was he eating?
  171.
  172. "Let's go, stupid, let's go now!" said the skinny one with a good muscle definition in the end.
  173.
  174. So they ran, escaped even, and when they did so, they were able to run all the way to the church and leaving a trail of sorts. The question is, however...
  175.
  176. Are they going to follow?
  177. [19:10] "Um... I-"
  178.
  179. Yuri looked around when he crashed through the door, falling face-to-face with far too many men in black. Was Pyralis' belief the right one? The boy was a bit impressed when he saw the lot of them wearing symbols from the church, only to mention the Stellus and run off towards said church; their team leader was quite the investigator.
  180.
  181. "P-Pyralis! The church!" He exclaimed, turning to see if the frozen teen was any less frigid.
  182. (Yuri)
  183. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  184.
  185. [19:14] At least Yuri cut through the door with his axe.
  186.
  187. The tingling sensation of control returning back to his body as he was bathed within the celestial energy of Roland was very much so welcomed. Fingers clenching as if to regain their dexterity as he moved to look around the trap they had walked into.
  188.
  189. Already he was moving to follow behind Yuri, calling out to the body before he spoke to Roland.
  190.
  191. "Wait you idiot!"
  192.
  193. "Chase after him, this whole town can't be trusted anymore.."
  194.
  195. Pyralis's hand remained on the handle of his blade, swiftly following behind Yuri as he exited the room and paused almost instantly at the sight that was before the trio.
  196.
  197. Gold.
  198.
  199. So much gold. A frown overtook his visage as he recalled the desperate women and children that they had passed, a snarl manifesting across his face as he stared towards the fat man.
  200.
  201. "Parasites. After them, they're the ones who set up the trap. They'll lead us back to this 'Stellus' of theirs."
  202.
  203. Heretics perhaps.
  204.
  205. The sword of Pyralis was finally drawn forth as he started to lead the way after the group, a few words for the pair as he walked.
  206.
  207. "Stick together. Yuri don't run off again, we're stronger together, hm?"
  208. (Pyralis)
  209. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  210.
  211. [19:16] Yuri exclaims, "Y-Yeah!"
  212. [19:18] Pyralis is kept warm, Roland is kept warm. The two follow right after Yuri to avoid the freezing magic that enveloped the room. But to his surprise, they were met with the members of the church. First the suspicions about the old man proved to be somewhat correct. Now, it turned out all of the village was turned against the Cadets. It seems the influence of the Eastern church of pretenders reached far.
  213.
  214. "This isn't right!" He shouts, stomping his foot. "We're here to help them! Why are they- Unless they're bandits in disguise..." Roland refused to believe that the church would willingly attack the Cadets that had come to provide aid, to relieve the town of the burden of being harassed by bandits.
  215.
  216. And yet now, it seemed the plot was thickening with a conspiracy.
  217.
  218. It was time to follow the pretenders of faith to their location. From there, they'd discover if this was a trap by the bandits or if the town had truly turned on its fair protectors.
  219. (Roland Pelleaux)
  220. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  221.
  222. [19:23] {NARRATION} The group followed the trail of gold, and hopefully no one would touch it. That would lead to greed, and greed wasn't the way of the hero, so as they moved forward, they would be able to be in front of the mega church in kind.
  223.
  224. And to their eyes, they would meet a man in all white dawning fancy coats and even more fancy jewlery. Clearly, this was the one in charge as the hat they wore had angel feathers in the middle, and a pendant that was in the same shape of a cross, and on the middle, Calel Kang's signature.
  225.
  226. Whatever it is, or whatever it belonged to, surely would like better on someone else than them.
  227.
  228. So as this man turned towards the group, he smiled directly as the other hand shooed the others away to go and hide quickly,
  229.
  230. "My dear cadets and knights, what can I do for you? Surely... you aren't here to invesitgate the church to Calael Kang? We're a simple people, giving to the people in need..."
  231.
  232. A chuckle, a demonic one at that. It wasn't normal for someone that was here to speak purity would do such a thing, but here they were, laughing.
  233.
  234. "If it's about the people, they're... not people. Just roaches that deserve the little bits of food that they get. They don't worship the church, and so they live... without our help."
  235.
  236. "You're not stupid to be like them, are you?"
  237. [19:29] People in need.
  238.
  239. The disdain held within the gaze of Pyralis wasn't held back, so easily visible within his eyes as the well dressed man started to speak. A snake within human skin.
  240.
  241. Calael Kang. A Saint within the Faith.
  242.
  243. Pyralis's blade rose, the tip pointed across towards the man that continued to speak such disgusting words for the groups ears.
  244.
  245. "Your desecration of a Saint ends here. The people are not playthings for you to give to and take from as you please. Surrender yourself to King Alexander's laws, and come peacefully."
  246.
  247. A flicker of his orbs towards the pair beside him, a nod that so easily gave away intentions. To fight, to seize the criminal that was before them.
  248. (Pyralis)
  249. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  250.
  251. [19:31] Yuri was there for the adventure. For the glory! For... because he was asked to come! The boy was in no shape or form the best fit for that job, but it'd be a learning experience for sure. For now he followed behind Pyralis's footsteps, hearing about a saint being disrespected in such a way was no good. A crime in the name of a man who did everything he could to help others and was in no shape or form selfish?
  252.
  253. Unacceptable!
  254.
  255. "Y-Yeah! What Pyralis said!"
  256. (Yuri)
  257. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  258.
  259. [19:37] Thankfully, Pyralis was of the same mind. The wealthy Stellus let the people suffer, breaking a tenet of the Celestial Faith. He ignored their plights, a second tenet was broken. The third and final straw was the opulence. The church wasn't a church anymore, but Joel Osteen shelter.
  260.
  261. The cosmic light that burned with unyielding light is turned towards the Stellus. "How could you let the people suffer?!" Roland booms, the stars echoing his rage.
  262.
  263. "How could you let them drown in poverty while you let your wealth cloud your mind, heart, and soul?! May Sae grant you the ability to perceive the situation of others! May Rhyt grant your mind clarity in your affluent affliction! May Yiel mend your broken faith in the stars! And may Biblos rekindle the deadened heart festering within your chest!"
  264.
  265. The blade is aimed right at the man, joining Pyralis in preparing to seize the criminal to face the judgement of the king.
  266. (Roland Pelleaux)
  267. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  268.
  269. [19:39] {NARRATION} The Stellus closed his eyes.
  270.
  271. "... and this is where I turned my back to Alexander when he asked for my help, now they all perish."
  272.
  273. They were no other words, but from the manfiestation of the holy magic, the Stellus would halt both of their hands towards the group, not only moving the energy of the angels into his hands, but also manifesting the light as well and the hope of his own proteciton, his own belief, his own freedom.
  274.
  275. "You all die."
  276.
  277. "Let the Stars bless your souls as they guide you."
  278.
  279. The brawl was on!
  280. [19:45] {Won Dangerous RPB against CrinterDM}
  281. [19:45] ** Yuri has inflicted an injury upon CrinterDM. ("Permanent Injury", "Permanent Injury", "Permanent", "Severity: MODERATE (-10 Vit)") **
  282. [19:52] Who could have expected Yuri to be at the forefront of the show? His swings were wild, his stance was clumsy, and the way he moved was overall laughable, yet in this instance, surrounded by friends? Everything worked out. His blows landed, his shifts across this holy battlefield were all made worth it.
  283.
  284. It's when the Stellus' hands came together to fire a massive beam of holy energies that the boy ran straight towards him. It almost looked like fear wasn't part of his system anymore. Why was he not running away?
  285.
  286. In a way, he was.
  287.
  288. He slid in-between the man's legs, turning around as scared as one could be before unleashing a precise beam of energy right towards the middle of his back. One that would drive him right through the doors.
  289.
  290. "T-THAT'S MINUS ONE STELLUS!"
  291.
  292. What a catchphrase.
  293. (Yuri)
  294. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  295.
  296. [19:57] {NARRATION} The combination of the three men of cadets were more than one priest can handle, and seeing that the majority of them were able to sustain the damage that was casted on the holy light, none of them had to be punished in regards to the holier than thou Priest that fell.
  297.
  298. Even in defeat and pushed back by the energy beam, they weren't dead. However, they were on the ground and waiting for what would come to happen, and to see what would come from it all.
  299.
  300. Were they... to kill the priest?
  301. To let them go?
  302.
  303. What would the /heroes/ of this story do?
  304. [19:59] Flames continued to grow, his sword continued to arc out towards the Stellus that had shown his true colors. The powerful magic of the man rather terrifying, but eventualy he was defeated by the group in an...
  305.
  306. ..Unexpected way.
  307.
  308. And it wiped away thoughts of belting Yuri when they returned back to Nysea. The way Yuri fought with such a wild, but energetic style was surprising to see from the cowardly boy.
  309.
  310. But it worked.
  311.
  312. A hand rose to clasp Yuri on the shoulder, smile further curling as he nodded towards the child. Approval leaking within his words as he spoke over.
  313.
  314. "That was amazing Yuri, luckily you finished him off before another one of those massive beams were conjured up."
  315.
  316. Pyralis's hand patted for a final time, turning his attention onto Roland with a nod.
  317.
  318. "The Stars truly blessed you."
  319.
  320. And then attention shifted towards the most important matter. Steps leading him over towards the priest until finally he was above him, sword moving towards the man's chest.
  321.
  322. Disgust within his gaze.
  323.
  324. "You're filth. You abandoned your oaths, you betrayed the people. You're unworthy."
  325.
  326. The blade moved, remaining against the man's chest as Pyralis leaned down to grab onto the pendant that was against his chest, ripping it from the Stellus's form.
  327.
  328. "Do either of you have a magical collar? He should pay for his crimes, but leaving him here without some reassurance would be unwise."
  329. (Pyralis)
  330. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  331.
  332. [20:02] Yuri wasn't going to kill a man, of course. He was a child and nothing more. A victory was plenty enough for him to be satisfied and he would stick with such. He did seem a bit more nervous when Pyralis marched forward.
  333.
  334. "H-Hey! Be careful..." He said to his friend.
  335.
  336. He led the way, after all.
  337. (Yuri)
  338. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  339.
  340. [20:02] Roland didn't have a magic collar, no one told them they'd be fighting a traitor magi. Instead, he tosses Pyralis some rope, to give him something to bind the hands of the traitor Stellus' in order to secure him in the meanwhile. Whatever strength he'd muster up, it wasn't without reason to assume that they could thrash the man in his weakened state.
  341.
  342. "Sorry, this is all that I have."
  343.
  344. The rope was sure to bind a strong man. If the fallen man of Faith had such a strength to muster while injured, there was surely going to be another fight on their hands. For now, Roland keeps his attention onto their defeated prey, waiting to see what else awaited them in their momentum forward.
  345. (Roland Pelleaux)
  346. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  347.
  348. [20:05] {NARRATION} They were heroes, were they?
  349.
  350. They were able to tie them up, and hold them down, there was no strength in the /holy/ man to be freed. So as he moved his head down in defeat, the little gold chain of his would fall to the ground.
  351.
  352. Anyone that were to grab it, would feel a surge of light magic going and taking from them. However, they would feel as if it was incomplete.
  353.
  354. ---
  355.
  356.
  357. "Hah..."
  358.
  359. The Priest looks to wards them all as the light of him wasn't shining anymore.
  360.
  361. "You think that this will keep me about and hold me steady? Fool, you think that I am alone and done? You're all JOKES!"
  362.
  363. Looking around, anyone can tell that there was a movement in the church. If they were to go in, they can see that the floor has opened up to expose something else. There were stairs that were leading down...
  364.
  365. Do you want to go and play with the devil's game? To see what was else, because there was a laughter.
  366.
  367. "Finally... with the energy of these people, I will be able to DESTROY the rest of Osrona and Nysea and become the true king, KING!"
  368. [20:06] The rope was accepted, and quickly the Stellus' was bound tightly, uncaring for the rope digging into his skin as he moved to a stand and nodded.
  369.
  370. A armoured boot slammed into the Stellus's face to knock him unconscious.
  371.
  372. "Let's move on."
  373. (Pyralis)
  374. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  375.
  376. [20:06] Yuri nods to that.
  377.
  378. "Let's get going!"
  379. (Yuri)
  380. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  381.
  382. [20:13] {NARRATION} As they went in and down the stares, there was a light that was going down the tunnel. Lit by candal light. Yet, there was a simple fork in the road that leads to the other side of the area as well that they could go. Yet, the shining light of the golden place was tasty.
  383.
  384. Will they decide to go towards the laughter, or will they first see where that gold will take them?
  385. [20:17] It was now time to enter the church, to finish this story by vanquishing whatever awaited them in the depths. He proceeds into the church, his resolve steeled to face whatever troubles that would await them inside. To his surprise, it would seem that there wasn't anything out of the ordinary, save for the golden light that seemed to trail a road of gold.
  386.
  387. "Opulence is the enemy of man. Let's keep moving and remain humble. No good will come out of following gold into ruin." Roland might have desired to earn coin, but he did so through legitimate businesses. Right now, his legitimate business required he didn't get murdered by whatever beast lurked within the church itself.
  388.
  389. "Be on your guard..." He calls out, holding the mythril blade in one hand, ready to fully unleash himself should the situation call for it.
  390.
  391. (Roland Pelleaux)
  392. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  393.
  394. [20:18] The grip upon Pyralis's handle only tightened as he they moved down the stairs and towards a fork within the path. Gold to one side, and the tell-tale signs of people to the other.
  395.
  396. His decision was made instantly.
  397.
  398. Gold held no interest to the teenager, a mere sweeping glance before he turned towards the tunnel that held what the group had set out for at the beginning.
  399.
  400. "Agreed. We're here to enact justice in the name of the King. Prepare yourselves, these people are no friends of ours."
  401.
  402. A smile thrown towards the pair, before down the pathway of Laughter they went.
  403. (Pyralis)
  404. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  405.
  406. [20:21] Yuri followed quietly behind the others. He was certainly not going to lead the way in an area lit only by candles. That was scary. When it came to deciding which side of the fork they'd pick the boy quickly agreed with the rest of his team, nodding silently and following after them. Speaking could only attract bad things from his experience.
  407.
  408. Even if they were seeking out said bad things...
  409. (Yuri)
  410. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  411.
  412. [20:24] {NARRATION} A group that wasn't greedy? Really?
  413.
  414. Well, that was perfect and preferred, they were true heroes at heart, and as such, who cared about money, right?
  415.
  416. That was probably a good thing, and seeing that it was obviously a trap, the only thing that would come out of that entire thing was the sound of a fart of poisonus gas that went away in the open air
  417.
  418. "What?! THEY DIDN'T GO WITH THE GOLD?! THAT WANS'T APART OF THE SCRIPT! CURSES!"
  419.
  420. The distant voice, and they would be able to come into view of a man that bared a very, very large sword. Bulk upon bulk, and a beard that ran down to his very stomach.
  421.
  422. "No, no, NO! THAT STUPID, WEAK PRIEST WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH?! DAMMMMMNNNNN ITTTTT!"
  423.
  424. They through a tantrum, and without any question, they rushed the children.
  425.
  426. "DIE ALL OF YOU! YOU WILL BECOME APART OF THE JEWEL!"
  427. [20:28] He fit the description of what a generalized bandit would appear to look like. Lids narrowed as he started to speak after the screams came to a close, sword again rising to be pointed.
  428.
  429. "I presume you're one of the bandits that have been harassing innocent merchants. Surrender yourself peacefully to the law of King Alexander, or attempt to resist and lose your life."
  430.
  431. Although it appeared his decision was already made. A charge towards the trio that had Pyralis stepping forward to engage the man alongside the pair in combat.
  432.
  433. Not an ounce of strength held back.
  434. (Pyralis)
  435. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  436.
  437. [20:31]
  438. {LOAD GAME}
  439.
  440. [20:34] CrinterDM says, "Ha."
  441. [20:45] {Won Restrained RPB against CrinterDM}
  442. [20:46] {NARRATION} Please Roll.
  443.
  444. Also note, you get your injuries after.
  445. [20:53] {NARRATION} The battle came to an end, and even though Yuri and Roland came out fine, it was Pyralis who was suffering from this the most.
  446.
  447. As the fearsome warrior met with the steel blade of the other, Pyralis can feel as if his energy and mana was being drained with every single fight and being sucked into the gem that was carried by this old, sinister man.
  448.
  449. And with that final slash down, the mana that was taken wouldn't seem to go back to him. It was as if he was almost dead and lifeless with the very heat being taken from him.
  450.
  451. ... but the giant energy warrior was on the verge of being defeated; how will this conclude?
  452. [20:57] A much harder fight compared to facing off against the delusional Stellus before. This time they were facing off someone that evidently focused more on their martial prowess.
  453.
  454. The large sword that the bandit wielded dodged at the last second, his own returning with an unending barrage of blows. Until finally an opportune moment presented itself.
  455.
  456. Pyralis's blade moved, and with it came a return strike from the giant energy-magi. His very energy being sapped by the bandit, but in return he landed a lasting blow.
  457.
  458. Burning Finger.
  459.
  460. A palm outstretched, and with it an orb of intense glames gathered.
  461.
  462. It was time for their combination attack.
  463.
  464. Emerald orbs moved towards the pair beside him, the giant was on the verge of defeat. And now it was time to finish him off for good. The build up of magical energy continued to grow.
  465.
  466. "Yuri, Roland!"
  467.
  468. "Insert your magic into the orb. We'll finish him off in one blow."
  469.
  470. Energy, cosmic and fire. All combined into a devastating attack.
  471. (Pyralis)
  472. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  473.
  474. [21:02] Yuri followed through with Pyralis's assault through the entire battle. Barrages and blows went flying left and right, leaving the boy to take up the mantle of 'hero' once more if he ever hoped to stand a chance. Despite his legs trembling and the giant axe in his grasp clanking from how scared he was, the boy wasn't going to be a burden.
  475.
  476. An outstretched hand reached out forth, clenching into a fist and erupting with a burning blue glow, a shroud of mana that was meant to empower his friend's attack, to take it to the next level.
  477.
  478. And forth it went.
  479. (Yuri)
  480. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  481.
  482. [21:06] {NARRATION} The burning finger.
  483.
  484. It was something that one would enver expect to come, yet when it did, it would devastate the energy magi and force him to be brought back for the final push. A burning mark on their entire body as they would shiver, shake, and soon roll over in defeat.
  485.
  486. "We came here... to... to make him happy. To make Ryujin... bless us... to bless me to become the mighty warrior of the spirit realm..."
  487.
  488. "I just... I just thought that this was the -way-..."
  489.
  490. He coughed, and coughed, only to collapse with the simple notion of being knocked over and out. It was pained, but not something that could really kill him.
  491.
  492. Though, as he rolled over, the gem was dropped, and the door way down would open as the very thing that came across was a puzzle that alluded in a booming voice,
  493.
  494. "He is the one who brought life, the one will guide those in death, and bring the flames peace when their spark is over. They guard the realms and soared through Valmasia once before. Scales as blue as their white eyes, who is he?"
  495. [21:06] {Item} You picked up Ener-gi. Dropped by CrinterDM..
