NightRavenHTSniper: im not sure that i am a roleplayer .. i used to role play many years ago when first joining imvu [7 yrs ago] but i am more a person that has family and friends here and although we do roleplay in terms of living and sharing here .. i would not consider us true role players for we are real ..

CaptainGabrieleStoro: As in for the sake of Roleplayers .. yes I am. This does not mean however you would be called up on as in there is some drama or fighting that would deem this dear. It means you can join in our roleplay as we are realms each person his own but we often will pass through another realm example yours and if you are with us as in the roleplay then you get to join in and rpleplay with us and just have fun

CaptainGabrieleStoro: ((This is the main post for Abalone , its a pirate RP this post explains everything))The waters glitter like rare gems under the skies of Abalone- waves rising and falling like curtains in the wind, their rush and crashing weaving together like a long-forgotten lullaby. But all is not peaceful here.Off the coast of Abalone's Port Orloff, ships set off to search the uncharted waters for land and more importantly for a cure. Abalone's King Madres lies stricken with an unknown illness in his precious stone palace and his wife, Queen Catherine, sick as well, has sent out a royal plea - to anyone who dares to take on the mysterious 'beyond' and set sail...to find a cure for what ails her and her husband. But that is easier said than done.The neighboring kingdom, Afaregan, has waited for centuries to attack and claim Abalone - seeing its chance, it decides to stop all who dare cross the stretch of water separating Abalone from the unknown world. And, being a kingdom known for its vagabonds, thieves, rogues and assassins, its king - King Jerumar - orders his personal pirates, known for their cunning and brutal efforts and pillaging, to stop all attempts to find a cure. In Abalone, a young woman named Gabriele slips from her home and finds herself in Port Orloff - searching high and low for a ship that will take her out of Abalone, so she can search for a cure. Laughed at for her gender, she is ignored...at first....but she is not one to give up, and quickly lies about her reasons for leaving Abalone, Gabriele manages to secure a place on their ship. The pirates intend to leave Abalone in order to find themselves a 'lost' treasure they believe is buried on a 'paradise island' somewhere in the uncharted waters. Gabriele leaves with them, knowing her full intent of coming aboard the ship. The courage was never strange to her. But Gabriele has another secret. The King of Abalone is her father. And Gabriele wants to save him and her mother - but if she doesn't ...she is prepared to lead her people. That stubborn Gabriele, that trait must have come from her father, her mother was to ...shall we say ...timid. She walked to the steer of the ship throwing her cape covering her head to the ground and taking hold of the wheel. A great wind came, as she spoke it took her voice all about the ship. Her words were not fancy, straight to the point her father always said," This ship is now property of Captain Gabriele Storo!"

NightRavenHTSniper: sadly imvu is riddled with many lonely and angry individuals who take pride in hurting others instead of enjoying and making friends .. i always offer what is brought to my door .. i pride myself on being here the gothic gentleman that i am in real .. as does everyone around me

Roleplay use to florish here and now you cant even find 10 good rooms with serious roleplay going on because its been washed out with ooc crap

NightRavenHTSniper: ah yes .. as i do remember such times .. sadly imvu does not have the numbers of members that it used to have .. and it is more riddled with gamers than true chatter/roleplay artists .. and yes i did read it .. it is very well written and ive no doubt that you and those within your roleplay group are high tier roleplayers .. im just not sure what i have to offer

CaptainGabrieleStoro: A fellow about the height of 5'4 rushed over the gates, down a dusty trail, and toppled over a tree root that could have been easily avoided. I had just finished my breakfast, Casey was late as usually, I believed it was about noon now. Unusually respected for my brother and now dead fiances "heroics" I hadn't done much to secure anything in the pirate business. Well maybe, if stealing counts -smirks- I stood after finishing my meal and brushed off yet another gentleman who, "wanted my hand in marriage" I left gardens and walked down to the stable where my horse, Charity was. My black hair cascaded down my back and occasionally blew around my face wildly, such was the weather of Pirendra, windy and occasional rains. Finally arriving to my horse is when I saw the strange man. Awfully drunk in appearance, He stood to his feet stumbling about the place. My eye brow raised at him. Although he was drunk, it seemed he was trying to get to someone for help, or had seen something. His mouth full of dust and dirt from the fall, hung open like a fish gulping for air. I released my grip to my saddle and walked out to meet the man, who came crashing to my black boots. Slightly moving from him speaking loud enough so the fellow could hear me. " Hey whats all the matter here?" Giving a nod he explained "Down at the docks...a man.. many men...and women,,, stranded...a ship crashed...mermaid." And with that last word he crashed to the dust. "This makes no sense at all, you need a bath." Shaking my head i kicked him in the head for being such a drunken fool. Although the tale was a bit wildly, I decided to check it out. I needed a good ride anyway and what better way than for a trip to the beaches. I walked back to my horse and untied her getting on. With a quick kick we were off and not long down at the beaches. The seagulls got my attention first. Hovering over the sky as if it were a great importance. I slowly trotted closer. Now I could see "dead men, why are dead men washed, hmm guess he wasn't lying after all" Deciding to see if any of them were alive i trotted down the path. To my surprise there was a woman seeming to be their leader, a few others roamed around with them. Probably looking for food. I didnt want to startle them but Charity didn't seem to care much for what I wanted. She kicked and leaped almost throwing me off her. I guess dead things were not her forte. "woah girl" I patted the side of her head and spoke to the people as they were aware of my presence now. "Hello Im Elizabeth, and welcome to Pirendra, these are my father's lands, are you in need of help?"
NightRavenHTSniper: i have several friends that are die hard role players and they enjoy it thoroughly .. but when we chat we do not roleplay .. we talk as friends
CaptainGabrieleStoro: towards the end she acknowledges we are on her lands due to a sea monster that had attacked us the night before
CaptainGabrieleStoro: see it would be as this you would tell us about your normal life and then you would notice something diferent in this case men and women dead and alive have been washed up on her shores
