She is very independent since she was raised in that way. BACKGROUND :
She looked like a girl that is a spoily brat who only goes all with popularity and stylish fashion but is actually has no brain. Indeed, she is very skillful and intelligent. She always up to good grades in her classes and prestigious.
However, she was raised in a wealthy but not healthy family. Her father's job causing her to rarely meets him and compeletely raised under her mother's doctrine. Being a gender activist she is, her mother raised her daughters to be independent, have big dreams and big desire.

She is become competitive and wants to be different from her sister, but ended up being similar as the time pass by and she doesnt realize it. He was her classmate back there in senior high school. During the old days, they were trying hard to beat each other's rank up, since they were known as the school's best students. It was getting worse when they were put in the same class. After the graduation, they never met. At least, until they bump into each other in the campus library and happened to know that they attend the same university. Moreover, when they are living in the same apartment. As expected, the world war 3 begin.

Yes. Even though they are very contradictive and against each other but somehow they are extremely similar and connected in only God knows how. And they are not realizing it, only people who surrounding them does feel this way. They are compatible in the most contradictive way.

HIS FIRST IMPRESSION :
He always hates someone with too much sassiness and who is logical enough to be able to read his moves. Yet somehow he feels satisfied when he met Naereun. He's amused by the way she can read his everyone moves and being as logical as him. He realized that they are pretty much same and he enjoys it. Even though, after all, he still choose not to met her if he knows she's be very arrogant and spoily. Being an easy going he is, he'd choose someone who is more friendly and he often said this to Naereun.

HER FIRST IMPRESSION :
It is natural to her to dislikes someone who potentially being a competitor to her. And yes, she hates him pretty much. She can't believe that her love interest, who is being well known as a friendly and easy going person, is being critical and annoying to her. Saying that she is lazy, unskilled, has no brain—basically, she is really sick of him.

Begin : He is always completely different for what people know about him. If he's friendly and easy going, and well known for easily getting along with people, it's a different story to Naereun. He always annoys her by critics, mocks, and his sassiness. Being a meanie he is, he pretty much enjoys his annoying behavior to her.
Middle : What people observe is that even though he annoys her, he completely looked like he has crush on her. It's because he always takes care of her, doing chores and anything troublesome for her, and even pick her up in her faculty, and escort her to wherever she needed. Slowly but sure, as his crush grow for her, he started to get affectionate even though the disturbance never stops to her.
End : There's a point when he completely ignore her and desperate because she cares about people's saying more than what he has done. But at the end, when everything gets better, he back just like the way he was.

Begin : She is annoyed and try to prevent meeting him. She hates how he easily critics her about almost everything, while being friendly at the same time with the others but her.
Middle : She started to built crush on him, and realized that maybe her feeling is not unrequited. But what people say that is a bitch barbie doll like her wont be a perfect match with someone as lit as him is actually her reason why she always treats him bad and try to push him to back off from her life even though she founds her most comfortable spot with him.
End : She doesnt put any attention to people's sayings again, and started to repair his relation with him. She stop being a denial and started to getting more and more honest to him that she is truly comfortable with him.

When she firstly attends university, she asked her dad to allow her to live outside the family house. She does want to live her university life without any burden from her mother or sister. Her dad easily accept since she said that she'd like to live independent, but she has to face trouble from her mother and her older sister. In the end, she got into the apartment 69. When she found her love interest among the residents, she'd like to move to other apartment but in the end she stay because she wont triggere any problem with her mother.
