Vigilantism

When I think of the sheer weight of the cost of being a vigilante.

I still find it appealing.

Currently a police officer can shoot you dead, lie convincingly and walk
away and still get paid, still get free health care and still get a
pension.

I am getting damn tired of my fellow citizens getting murdered.

A vigilante on the other hand has to pay for EVERYTHING out of their
pocket. They risk their health, life, property of themselves, their
family, friends and associates.

All are on the chopping block if caught. And believe you me they will be
caught as they are in competition with the enormous malevolent monster
we've created called by some the Law Enforcement Growth Industry.

A vigilante can lose not only their freedom or life but every scrap of
property they and their family own. In some cases that can and has been
extended to any person or group that offered them anything to further
the vigilante's efforts.

A police officer however can draw on the grotesque mass of government
largess, stolen from the unborn, the living and the dead to do their
work. Taxes are theft and you will eventually see the guns if you resist
paying them. A police officer is little different than an armed
criminal who works for a mobster.

People despise admitting this yet they flock in droves to super hero
movies where vigilantes solve problems without sucking up suck largess
stolen from the people.

However in the real world who would have the power, wealth, courage and
strength to do such a thing?
