  1. Hello everyone
  2.
  3. Sly 1 has undergone quite the revolution and the time has been lowered by nearly 2 minutes over the duration of just a few weeks. The return of Sharo and a bunch of new runners after the AGDQ showing along with Syn really putting in work has all left its mark on the run and any% has seen an insane drop in time despite not really bringing much new to the table.
  4.
  5. One new thing is the dread swamp path jump being incorporated into any%. When I saw that happening, I was ready to quit. I said a long time ago that I would stop running the game if/when that strat was put in. However, that's the word of a quitter, which I am not.
  6.
  7. Its no secret that I have been a bit bummed out losing my record and having a hard time keeping up consistency wise. I can do everything in the run just as fast and even faster than everyone else. But Sly 1 isnt fully dependent on your personal skill, there's a lot of random elements to it, and when my runs have been killed to stuff that is out of my control, I've let it get to me more than it should, and I've kinda threatened with quitting the game entirely a few times now.

  9. This pastebin is basically just here to clarify some things. I am not gonna quit. I have unsettled buisness with this furry prick and he's not gonna run away with it. I'll get there. I think its hugely positive for the community that we've seen this burst of activity and optimization. And for those who might think otherwise, yes I am not happy with Sharo taking my record, but Sharo and I are buds and we've been tight for the good part of the last 2 years now. There is no hostility. We both respect each other as runners and we're good friends.
  10.
  11. I've had some people voice concerns about me quitting and that other runners are ruining the game by making me quit. I am not gonna quit. And it is irresponsible to blame other runners for ruining a game, when all they do is improve their time. I'll get my 56 soon. Then maybe even a 55. This game deserves to be put to rest in a good way, and not by pussying out.
