#PastebinMonday 06/06/2022 Moving Towards the Path Forward Edition

'Sup, doods!

The Tetris Attack tournament should be very much behind me at this point. Now it is time to evaluate my priorities ahead of the upcoming Pokémon Puzzle League tournament. I made some goals last week of what I wanted to do before getting back into a more frequent streaming schedule. I got some things done on my much needed week off. Here is what is left:

Goal #2: get my backlog of personal bests onto YouTube. I released one yesterday. I'm putting at least one more out this week. I just need to grab Twitch highlights for the rest. I expect to be done grabbing and editing the videos by the weekend.
Goal #4: set up layouts for the PPL tournament.
Goal #5: script and record footage for my tutorial series I've been teasing for months. I think I'm getting my permanent set of dentures this week. I'll know then if I can be comfortable with talking through the tutorials sooner rather than later. This might be the most time-consuming part to execute.
Goal #6: clean up my own stream layout. I need some sort of identity within the organization I desperately need. Alerts probably need reworked. Quotes from Streamlabs definitely need to get exported to the new StreamElements bot. This is the least straightforward part of these plans.

Once all that is done, what should I focus on? I can't help but notice that I've effectively stalled out at 2000 Twitch followers for what feels like multiple years now. Is it a frequency thing? A consistency thing? A content thing? I am prepared to throw a bunch of things at the wall by revisiting some old speedgames and playing different ones with short goals (<30 min) throughout the week, but which ones? I suppose I have some time before I have to cross this bridge.

Now what does this mean for Fridays? Well, for the moment, I expect to be hopping around the Puzzle League series leaderboards and filling in some gaps in some of the categories that I have not done. I probably won't know what I will get into until the day before. Naturally, I will entertain any sort of racing that the community wants to get into, but it's time I did my own thing for a bit, if only for a little bit.
