- background ; Seungwoo was born in Gwangju, South Korea, and raised in Kyoto, Japan. He experienced a lot of hardships as he progressed to a trainee in Vivid Ent. One of the reasons was because of him constantly getting sent to the hospital, it was later found out Seungwoo was diagnosed with an eating disorder. With him constantly fainting, having to be treated, etc., his family was continually in debt. Thankfully Seungwoo got healthier, and his family's financial issues were finally over. During his time in the hospital, he would spend his time watching artists like Big Bang and EXO perform, and then he got seriously interested in the idol industry that he decided to become one himself.
