Freut mich sehr, ich werde es zwar erst im Abo service spielen, aber wenn es mir sehr gut gefällt würde ich es mir dann doch nochmal kaufen. • The death of local co-op, death of mid tier games, focus on "online experiences" and general rush to make things wide appeal and inoffensive means very little is all that appealing and I mostly wait on whatever does manage to make it through the traps of mediocrity as far as new games. Gerade Always online sollte man nicht unkritisch sehen. Zum einen laufen die Systeme oft leider nicht reibungslos und nicht jeder hat eine starke und stabile Internetverbindung. Wir haben hier mit unsere "Deutschlandgeschwindigkeit" weit größere Probleme als viele andere Länder. Jedoch sieht es auch in anderen Ländern weit weniger rosig aus als hier getan wird, so das Onlineprobleme eine beachtliche Anzahl von Gamern betrifft. Hinzu kommt, dass Standardfunktion wie Stand By dadurch oft nutzlos werden, weil es nach dem "Aufwachen" erstmal einen Verbindungsabbruch gibt. Gerade Always Online sehe ich als legitimen Grund für eine Abwertung, da es die technische Qualität und Benutzerfreundlichkeit eines Spiels negativ beeinflusst. Man muss nicht jede Schnapsidee der Branche positiv oder neutral betrachten.

Activision and Blizzard merging was terrible for Blizzard fans.  20 years later, most people agree that SquareSoft and Enix becoming Square-Enix allowed us to play some great games and there are franchises that stayed well, but overall, the merger was bad for those who liked what both companies had to offer.  EA has a history of buying smaller companies, ruining them and their franchises, and shutting them down. The most egregious element is the fact that (at least on Switch) one can't just buy the game outright. Xbox kind of gets around that by just buying Rare Replay, but AFAIK right now, GoldenEye can't be purchased directly on Xbox either. I'm so happy and thrilled to see GoldenEye return, but jeez it's a far from ideal distribution method. Nintendo's repair service is mad for that. I sent in my New 3DS XL earlier this year, as the battery cover had cracked around the screws and had general wear, so needed replacing (and it's almost impossible to find any replacements, let alone ones that fit properly). I had to send the console in for an assessment and quote, which came back at £80 for the damaged battery cover but also "image problem: damaged upper screen".
