Manga you like

Fuwawa:
>It's a bit of an old one, but... we really like Cobra!

Mococo:
>We even own every volume!
>Cobra's worldbuilding and characters are way too cool, we love it.

F:
>It's a kind of atmosphere you don't really see in modern manga, so conversely it feels really fresh.

M:
>Oh, and we also love the smell of physical manga!

F:
>Even though we live in a digital age, FUWAMOCO prefers to hold the actual book to read it.

M:
>It does have its inconveniences too, but we love the feeling of using all of our senses while reading.

F:
>Seeing all of the manga lined up on the shelves too, that feeling of "these are my treasures!"
>We really love that. Our house has a lot of manga!

M:
>They're all our treasures!

V-Jump:
Your number one treasure

F:
>We have a lot of treasures!

M:
>Too many!
>FUWAMOCO, we're very sentimental.

F:
>Even trivial things we'll bring back home with us. (laughs)

M:
>But of course, our number one trasure is the ruffians' smiles. As demon guard dogs, protecting the ruffians' smiles is the most rewarding thing for FUWAMOCO!

F:
>Usually, on stream, everyone is on the other side of the screen, right? So we don't get that many opportunities to see their smiles directly.

M:
>So when we do get the chance, we get so excited that we don't even really know what we're talking about anymore! We feel like we're gonna explode! (laughs)

F:
>Like at a live concert, we feel like jumping out. (laughs)

V-Jump:
Something you're bad at

F:
>When you're walking down the street in Japan, you'll find people walking both on the right and left sides. "Which side am I supposed to walk on!?", I end up asking myself.

M:
>Also, when someone is walking slowly in front of us and we just can't pass them and I end up thinking "So frustrating!", I guess I'm bad at dealing with that too. (laughs)

F:
>We don't want to get in the way of those around us, so we're always mindful of this. It can sometimes be the opposite from the Makai's Northwest Passage, where FUWAMOCO come from, so "we hope we're not being a bother to anyone" is something we worry about.
>But it feels like everyone else is messy too, so recently I've been thinking "maybe I don't really have to worry about this".

M:
>Fuwawa always scolds me! "Moco-chan, this way!", she says. (laughs)

F:
>Because she's about to bump into someone coming from the other side. "Stay close to Fuwawa!" I tell her. (laughs)

V-Jump:
Food you like

F:
>Donuts!

M:
>Pon-de-Rings are our favorites!

F:
>You may think "donuts aren't a meal", but...

M:
>We think it can be a staple food!

F:
>We like japanese cuisine too! Like sushi and sashimi, oden... and japanese curry!

M:
>Bento is delicious too! (laughs)

V-Jump:
Food you dislike

FWMC:
>Onions... we just can't stand them...

M:
>Even if they're in the curry, we end up thinking "this is difficult..."

F:
>We can't eat it...

M:
>We always ask for "no onions, please" whenever it's possible.

F:
>Moco-chan is also weak with nattou. Fuwawa loves it, though!

M:
>Yeah... but I want to be able to eat it...
>It's good for your health! But I still can't eat it...

Games you like

F:
>When it comes to genres, we really like Bishoujo Games, and also RPGs with a bunch of cute heroines!

M:
>Games are fun, so we like all of them! I don't think we've encountered a game that made us think "I don't really like this one" so far.

F:
>Also, we've recently started playing Minecraft! We're complete newbies, though, so we make a lot of mistakes. (laughs)

M:
>But it's fun, playing Minecraft!

V-Jump:
Characters you like

M:
>Our favorite character is from the game To Heart, the maid robot Multi!

F:
>We're looking forward to the remake! It's quite the gap going from Cobra to Multi-chan, though, I wonder if that's ok. (laughs)

M:
>(laughs) Multi-chan is the one we love the most!

V-Jump
Your favorite memory since you started your activities in Hololive

M:
>There are so many fun memories!

F:
>So it's hard to answer, but it has to be our 3D Debut, right? Not only we did singing and dancing, but we even challenged ourselves with pro wrestling! (laughs)

M:
>It was so much fun, right? We did our best with our training!

F:
>I ended up losing to Moco-chan, but I'd be happy if we got a chance to showcase our pro wrestling again!

M:
>And holoGTA too!

F:
>It was our first time participating in such a big box event with senpai from JP and ID, as well as EN members, but it was also FUWAMOCO's first time playing GTA, so we also struggled with that.

M:
>Before starting, I was so nervous that I was about to cry!

F:
>Looking back now, it feels like a dream that we were able to have fun chatting every day with all the members in Holos Santos!

M:
>It was so much fun!

F:
>Another memorable thing was what Fubuki-senpai said at the start of 2024!
>The Fubuki-Daisenpai we admire, saying "FUWAMOCO just debuted, but it feels like they've always been a part of Hololive"
>It made us so happy!

M:
>We were so surprised when we heard it, like "eeh!?"

F:
>We've loved Hololive for a long time, so it really made us so happy.

I would love to have this kind of collab with Shueisha/Jump!

F:
>FUWAMOCO's manga debut, of course! I think there are funny events and vignettes in our everyday lives that we may not normally notice.

M:
>Apparently there are! We don't really notice, though.

F:
>When Advent came to Japan last summer, we spent a lot of time together, and we would often hear them say "It's funny to watch FUWAMOCO arguing"

M:
>Maybe a "FUWAMOCO's Daily Life" style 4koma would be fun. But to us it's just our ordinary life, so I'm not sure! (laughs)

V-Jump
Places of interest in Japan

F:
>Well, we do want to visit lots of places, like ryokan and onsen...

M:
>I wanna go!

F:
>We also want to go to a game center that has retro games that the ruffians recommended! We want to go there as soon as we can.
>The machines won't last forever, and arcades are also becoming fewer.

M:
>So we want to play lots while we still can!

F:
>We want to visit lots of different places in Japan, we haven't even been to Hokkaido yet.

M:
>I want to eat crabs! (laugh)

F:
>I want to go while it's cold.

"When it comes to this, we won't lose to anyone!"
Skills and hobbies

F:
>Something no one can beat us at... I guess our twin bond?
>Of course, there are lots of pairs that get along well, but FUWAMOCO are twins and furthermore we're the bestest of friends!

M:
>But we do still argue, you know?

F:
>We do, but only about trivial stuffs. (laughs)

M:
>That's true, they're always such trivial matters that we quickly end up forgetting about it, right? (laughs)

F:
>That's why we won't lose to anyone when it comes to our bond as twins. It's stronger than anything. There are a lot of things we can do as long as we're together.

M:
>We push each other during recordings too...

F:
>Like, "Moco-chan, sing this part more like this!"

M:
>Or, "This wasn't very good, do it again!", we're always saying these things.

F:
>It's nice to have a twin!

V-Jump:
The thing you want the most right now

M:
>Stamina...!

F:
>Lately we've had a lot of dance and singing practice, but of course we still want to stream. So it's been a bit frustrating lately because we feel like we could handle things a bit better if we level up our stamina.
>So that's why from now on we want to train more and more. Like Saitama from One Punch Man!

M:
>100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, that kind of training! (laughs)

V-Jump:
Essential items

F:
>Lately the things we're always carrying are tea and cough drops. It's important to take good care of our throat.

M:
>We bring over our special tea from the Northwest Passage!

F:
>A lot of Hololive members use cough drops regularly, but whenever we're talking about them, everyone says "it's a bit bitter, though". But we really like it!

M:
>It's like a dessert! It tastes so good that it's like a treat!

F:
>Yeah! To the point of wanting to put it on ice cream!
>So "when the throat is feeling sore~"...

FWMC:
>OK! Take a cough drop! Yeah!

F:
>That's what happens. (laughs)

What you've been into lately

F:
>Japanese fruits! It's currently persimmon season, so I always buy them. I like to wait a bit for them to fully ripe before eating.
>Moco-chan doesn't seem to care much for it, though.

M:
>Not much, no. I'm more into strawberries lately. I eat them like they're a regular meal!

F:
>Also during this time I've been really enjoying Kyohou grapes, I had a lot of them. Oh and akebi! I saw it at the supermarket and thought "what is this!?"

M:
>It looked like something out of One Piece! It was interesting.

F:
>Oh and we also like japanese TV!

M:
>We watch Tantei Knight Scoop every week!

F:
>It's full of all sorts of episodes from japanese culture, we love it.

V-Jump:
Things that make you feel glad that you're twins, and conversely things that would be easier if you weren't

F:
>People tend to assume that because we're twins, work goes twice as fast...

M:
>But the opposite is true. It takes twice as long!

F:
>There are lots of times when we share the same vision and opinion, but of course there are also times when we disagree, and coming to an agreement takes time.
>Those times are the ones that make us think "Maybe it would be better if we weren't twins?" (laughs)

M:
>But for the most part we're always thinking "We're glad that we're twins".
>At times when we're feeling lonely too, because we're always together we can feel a little more at ease.

F:
>When I say something on stream that may cause a misunderstanding too, Moco-chan is there by my side.

M:
>Maybe I can salvage it a bit, right? (laughs)

DEATH NOTE !!!

A fateful encounter at a comic shop!

F:
>Of course, our first time reading it was the english version, but we found it at a comic shop.

M:
>In the middle of all the different comics, there was a single shelf dedicated to japanese manga. At that point in time, there were still not that many japanese manga released in english.

F:
>It was a store employee who recommended it to us, saying "this manga just came out, and it's really interesting".

M:
>"We're interested!", then we started reading and immediately got hooked. (laughs)

F:
>It's a fairly simple story, but the way things get more and more intense as the story develops is really fun.
>Among the manga we were reading at the time, this one was quite dense. Just reading a single volume took a while.

M:
>That feeling of "Un un un!", "Oooooh!", I have very fond memories of that time. (laughs)

F:
>We would go to the comic shop with Mama Puppy, and as a reward she would say "You can each buy one manga"...

M:
>Our special time with our mother!

F:
>Death Note was Fuwawa's pick, but Moco-chan also fell in love with it.

Everyone loves Death Note, but...

F:
>We were so obsessed with Death Note... that we made our own Death Note-like notebook.

M:
>We did! We even wrote DEATH NOTE on it and went "Oooh!! Death Note is so cool!".

F:
>We got so excited playing with our Death Note. (laughs)
>We did know it wasn't a real Death Note...

M:
>But I got so scared that I didn't want to write anything. Not even a single character, like that. (laughs)

F:
>The characters were also so fascinating and interesting, that I would keep drawing them during class.

A Death Note battle!?

FWMC:
>We also fought over who got to read it first... (laughs)

F:
>Fuwawa was the one who bought it, but Mama Puppy wanted to read it too. Because we took so long to read it...

M:
>We had guard dog training to attend, but Mama Puppy was free, so she would ask "Can I go ahead and read it first?"
>"No, it's FUWAMOCO's turn to read it first!", so Mama Puppy would join the fight too. (laughs)

F:
>How did we end up settling it?

M:
>Rock paper scissors, probably...? We usually settle things with rock paper scissors, right?

F:
>Usually, yeah... I wonder.

M:
>Since it took us so long to read it, we would take turns. I would add a bookmark to say "I've read this far, now it's your turn, Fuwawa".

The striking relationship between Light and L

F:
>Light and L's relationship is like a mouse and a cat, it's really fun. They're not friends, but they make the strongest pair together.

M:
>Yeah, they're obviously not friends, but you still get that sense of camaraderie.

F:
>I wonder what is the right word to describe it... Rivals? It's difficult to definte it, but we really love this dynamic.

M:
>There are various character stories and they're all interesting, but what stuck with us the most was definitely the mindgames between Light and L.

F:
>Also, the story is really serious and told earnestly, but there are a few comical moments too.

M:
>For example, Light's potato chip eating scene. While making it seem like he's just studying normally, in truth he's using the Death Note!

F:
>Those moments leave quite an impression too!

The same oshi character!

F:
>A character we particularly like is L. Even if he's very peculiar and eccentric...

M:
>He doesn't try to repress that eccentric side of his. I think it's great that he accepts and embraces that side of himself too.

F:
>"This is who I am", we love this kind of thing. Everyone has things about themselves that make them think "this side of me is a little weird".

M:
>It may be "weird", but that's not a "bad" thing. We want everyone to like what makes them unique.

F:
>L is L. That's something we really like.

If you could collaborate with a Death Note character?

F:
>Probably Misa-chan, since she has such a distinguished fashion sense...

M:
>FUWAMOCO are a part of Hololive English's Advent, and we think Misa-chan would fit quite well with Advent too!

F:
>Yeah! If you put us all together, it'll feel like she's already joined Advent.

M:
>I don't think she would look out of place. Revealing Advent's new member, Misa-chan~! (laughs)

F:
>It would be nice if we could have a fashion collab with her.

M:
>It would definitely look cute!

DEATH NOTE's recommendation point is, in essence?

F:
>The story itself is fairly simple, but, as it progresses, it takes shocking turns one after another, it will leave you thinking "Eh!? That's where it's going!?"

M:
>"What will happen next!?", you'll get so curious to know. Even while thinking "I have to stop... I need to sleep!" you'll still end up going "I need to read the next part! Aaah, I can't stop now~!"

F:
>I want everyone to read it lots! I'm sure it will surprise you too!
