+ BACKGROUND: as far as dalhee knew, her family had always been living a lower-class lifestyle. they could barely afford their apartment, barely had enough food on their plates, and had a shit ton of debts ranging from the hospital bills to loans that her father had to pull from the back just to pay for her mother's treatments. her and her brother had become close because of all this (they didn't want to burden their parents with bratty children on top of everything), despite them being complete opposites. where her brother was outgoing and charismatic, dalhee was quiet and reserved; he brother would grow up with many friends by his side that he would be with pretty much everyday, while dalhee only talked to other people for the sake of appearances and to say that she did. in her mind, there was no time for anything other than studying. she basically had no actual friends except for one who she still couldn't fully connect with considering that they were on different sides of the socio-economic spectrum. not that she really cared, though, since she's always been more of a studying person. all of her labours were not for naught, since she achieved a full-ride art and science scholarship. despite that problem being solved, dalhee still worked two jobs (ones that she's been working as soon as she was able to work) to help pay for her parents' debt and her mom's bills.

+ HOW DOES HE ACT AROUND YOU? he's his usual outspoken self, loud and charismatic and perhaps just a bit too touchy. he's much more casual and carefree than she is, and doesn't mind the looks she gives him that probably mean that she's about to murder him (ha, ironic). although, he is quite curious about her, mostly because she's just so q u i e t; he notices her wandering eyes and pursed lips, the way that she seems to react to conversations even if she wasn't even a part of the conversation. it's suspicious, and he'd like to get to the bottom of who dalhee is and why she seems to be like knowing anything and everything around her. also finds it amusing how she's kind of like yoongi.

+ HOW DO YOU ACT AROUND HIM? it takes a while for dalhee to feel like she can tolerate him. she's not one for skinship, or being totally clingy day 1 of meeting someone, so she really, really does not like it when he suddenly decides to act as if they've known each other for 39408230492 years. like, really, she'll pretty much start bickering with him if he really begins to get on her nerves, and ignore him basically any other moment. as she adapts to it, though, she starts to not mind as much and only think of him as someone that could possibly make her open up (hah), but she does keep in mind that he's a) famous, and b) really annoying almost 24/7. she does begin to consider him as a friend at some point, and finds herself showing her silent mom persona when he's around.
