TE:C: Prologue

The Tetrimidion. Being at the center of the galaxy us Guardians call home, it has become very important to us.

When a new Guardian enters the land, they are greeted with its peaceful yet ominous presence, luring them towards itself. As they improve their abilities in battle, they orbit closer and closer, until being invited into the Tetrimidion itself.

However, the galaxy is never truly at peace. A dark void threatens the very existence of us Guardians, coming and going very frequently. Every visit, it comes to destroy anything and everything in its path, whether it be stars, planets, or even Guardians.

Soon, it became a Guardian's duty to defend the Tetrimidion from such attacks, and this proved to be successful. The void would dissipate, disappearing off to whatever realm it waited in. The galaxy would be safer for longer.

Unfortunately, the void learned. It adapted.

The next time it would return, it not only came much larger than usual, but it used its power to capture and possess the powers of the Zodiac constellations, adding numbers to its own ranks. With this, the void and the Zodiac overwhelmed the Guardians and took control of the Tetrimidion.

Many of us escaped, but others were not as lucky, either being held captive inside the Tetrimidion before they could escape, or perishing in their attempts to escape. It became too much to handle, and the Guardians had no other choice but to fight back.

This choice would prove to be much more difficult than we thought. With our attempted retaliation, even more Guardians fell to the powers that the Zodiac held. Many would get to the void, only to be defeated by its increased power. It seemed as if we were going to lose if nobody defeated this threat.

We were running out of time. Someone had to step up.

I moved my way through the crowd of Guardians and stepped forward to face the black hole that was determined to destroy us all. I looked to my left and right, to find two others I've befriended during my time in the galaxy.

We looked at each other with determination, faced the void yet again, and ran towards it, ready to risk everything for the safety of all.
