  1. Sleep Sleep Sleep. Sleeping is fun, so very fun. How nice it is to sleep.
  2.
  3. "It's coming."
  4.
  5. You hear a voice? Who is it though? You don't know this person's voice at all...
  6.
  7. "This is your chance to atone."
  8.
  9. Atone? What is that? an instrument? a machine? A food? You're confused, and that's no fun.
  10.
  11. "I'll wipe the slate clean if you help out."
  12.
  13. Wipe the slate? Who is this person? Why is he saying he'll wipe you
  14.
  15. "There was a tear. I missed it. She's coming. Call on your friends. Aid them."
  16.
  17. Friends? You have friends? Wait! You do! It has been some time, but you truly do! You have friends.
  18.
  19. "The Transcendent will help. This is just a small sampling. I closed the tear, but some of them seeped through. Be good, and tell them."
  20.
  21. Tell? You don't know who to tell though.
  22.
  23. "Red Meteor, we will need him and the strength of his allies."
  24.
  25. Red Meteor? Why him, is he not evil?
  26.
  27. "He is an ally of your knight."
  28.
  29. How interesting! Your knight is a hero among heroes! Surely if they are allies of him then all should be well!
  30.
  31. You awaken from your sleep in a room that was given to you by Sir Knight's mother. She always looks at you funny, like many other people do. You remember some of those people you broke. They stopped moving after. It was funny. She's Sir Knight's mother though, so you'll be nice.
  32.
  33. You are Hands-Off. And you will have more fun with Sir Knight and his friends! But what of that dream? It felt so real, who...or what is coming? It feels scary. But you're sure you'll be fine...maybe you should tell Sir Knight anyway?
  34.
  35. >Up and out of bed!
  36. >Through the window!
  37. >Go awaken Sir Knight!
  38. >Sir Knight's mother, perhaps she can shed light on the message!
  39. >Other/Write-in
  40.
  41. >Up and out of bed!
  42. >And then through the window!
  43. >Then walk back into the house and head upstairs when you realise you don't know where you're going
  44. >Then finally go awaken Sir Knight!
  45.
  46. You have to start the day right! You get out of bed, quickly you open the window and leap out! As you descend, your faithful hands dress you and break your fall all in one motion, allowing you to roll on the ground. But as you roll, you have realize something alarmingly important:
  47.
  48. No one is here.
  49.
  50. How silly of you, Sir Knight is asleep in his room! You must wake him! You continue rolling until you reach the door of the house. Sir Knight's mother keeps a key under the mat, so your hands have no problem opening it, allowing you to continue rolling. As you get to the stairs, they make a sort of makeshift walk way that you continue rolling up, until you reach Sir Knight's room, opening the door.
  51.
  52. "Sir Knight! It is the morning of a new day!" You exclaim happily
  53.
  54. Immeditely Sir Knight springs up, looking tired, but not surprised by the sudden intrustion.
  55.
  56. "Oh morning Hazel." He grumbles getting out of bed
  57.
  58. 'Hazel'...Sir Knight had taken to calling you that, said that it was more useful than the name 'Hands-Off'. You must admit, it is a rather pretty name, so you don't mind it.
  59.
  60. "Has your friend returned from her long trip?"
  61.
  62. "No...it's been a week now and we haven't heard from her."
  63.
  64. "How awful, I do hope she returns before long, I've been meaning to show her a most wonderful song!"
  65.
  66. "Yeah...we're hoping the same."
  67.
  68. Poor Knight, he looks so sad...
  69.
  70. >Tell him about your dream
  71. >Tickle him!
  72. >Enough of this, to Sir Knight's Mother!
  73. >Move on the ceiling!
  74. >Other/Write-in
  75.
  76. >Move on the ceiling while telling of your dream!
  77.
  78. Poor Knight, he's all sad, seeing him frown doesn't sit well with you, so you do the most obvious thing to fix this: You have one of your hands hold you upside down from the ceiling! Perfect, now his frown is upside down. However Sir Knight quickly covers his eyes.
  79.
  80. "H-Hazel, stop that, I can see your underwear!"
  81.
  82. You look up...or is down? Is up down? Is down up? Perhaps up is sideways? Or is it diagonal? You give up on it, because your underwear is indeed on display. You don't care though.
  83.
  84. "Sir Knight, you must listen! I had a most peculiar dream!"
  85.
  86. "Was it about the flying Kraken Donut again?" He replies with a deadpan voice
  87.
  88. "No no, not of that, but of this I heard a voice, a most peculiar voice!"
  89.
  90. "A...voice?"
  91.
  92. "Yes, I had no choice but to hear this voice, as it spoke words and riddles and dark omens!"
  93.
  94. "Dark omens?"
  95.
  96. "Yes,it said that something is coming! Something, some person, some lady! Who she is I do not know! But someone is coming!"
  97.
  98. "I...see. And who was the guy who told you?"
  99.
  100. "I don't know, I can't fathom! His voice was mystical, almost as if it were a phantasm! He did however say he would wipe the slate clean for me!"
  101.
  102. Sir Knight stares at you for a moment, he's fully awake now, with a hard look on his face. Is he thinking...?
  103.
  104. >Pet his head
  105. >Sir Knight, is aught alright?
  106. >Is a monster? Will you fight?
  107. >Smile smile! Attempt to hug!
  108. >Other/Write-in
  109.
  110. >Pet his head
  111. >Sir Knight, is aught alright?
  112. >Smile smile! Attempt to hug!
  113.
  114. You can't help but lower yourself from the ceiling and begin petting Sir Knight's head.
  115.
  116. "Sir Knight, is aught alright? You seem so downtrodden."
  117.
  118. "Well, this is pretty disturbing. What you just told me reminds me of a comic I read. It was a really big crossover event with some crazy stuff going on. All sorts of heroes coming together to fight off this really scary super powerful bad guy."
  119.
  120. "And this is what troubles you?"
  121.
  122. "I guess so, I mean, this is real life, a lot of people could get hurt or worse. I don't want my mom or anyone else getting hurt."
  123.
  124. At this you can't help but give him a hug, to which he quickly pushes you away. "Smile Smile, brave one, all will be fine! This vision is but a dream, a fake, a lie! Surely nothing like that will come to pass! Now go and be ready, or you'll be late for class!"
  125.
  126. Realizing you're right. Sir Knight quickly leaves for the bathroom to get himself ready for a day at the schoolhouse. Feeling famished you head downstairs to see Sir Knight's Mother laying out some pancakes for breakfast.
  127.
  128. "Ah dearest mother of Sir Knight! How are you?"
  129.
  130. "I'm fine Hazel...why are you up?"
  131.
  132. "The early bird catches the worm!"
  133.
  134. "You slept until 6PM yesterday."
  135.
  136. "That was the night of the owl!"
  137.
  138. "...Right. So would you be willing to finally try going to school?"
  139.
  140. Ew, School. So boring so droll, you'd much not like that at all, though Sir Knight's mother always insists.
  141.
  142. >No, never, no how!
  143. >I cannot, for I must find the Red one and relay the message!
  144. >Oh look pancakes!(gorge yourself)
  145. >Give Sir Knight's Mother a hand with setting out the dishes
  146. >Other/Write-in
  147.
  148. >"I shall try!"
  149. >Stand up dramatically for a few seconds
  150. >Then sit back down
  151. >"Twas a valiant effort was it not?"
  152. >I cannot, for I must find the Red one and relay the message!
  153.
  154. You smile at Sir Knight's Mother, "For you and Sir Knight I shall try!"
  155.
  156. You get to your feet, ready to take on the day...before sitting back down.
  157.
  158. "Twas a valiant effort was it not?"
  159.
  160. Sir Knight's Mother just looks at you, somewhat annoyed "Truly...it was a story worth telling to future generations."
  161.
  162. You smirk at her before speaking "Perhaps one day, I shall truly go, but for now I must find the Red One!"
  163.
  164. "The Red One...?" She asks
  165.
  166. "Yes...Red Meteor I believe is his name? Dark days are coming and his help is needed!"
  167.
  168. Sir Knight's Mother suddenly becomes far more interested, sitting down at the table, looking at you intently "What message is that? What are these dark days?"
  169.
  170. You explain to her what happened and she seems quite thoughtful for a moment.
  171.
  172. "That's pretty interesting. Tell me, would you like to come to work with me after I drop Tim off at School? I think I know someone who would be very interested in that story."
  173.
  174. >Oh boy, sounds fun!
  175. >I cannot, I must guard the home!
  176. >Will the Red One be there?
  177. >Let us away at once!
  178. >Other/Write-in
  179.
  180. >Oh boy, sounds fun!
  181. >Let us away at once!
  182.
  183. "Oh boy, what fun, come let us away at once!"
  184.
  185. "Well sure, after we-whoa!"
  186.
  187. You don't let her finish as you and your hands are flying out of the room, a big one carrying (and flinging you both from place to place) you're having so much fun! Flying through the air, only for another hand to catch you both and fling you to the next one!
  188.
  189. "W-whhhhhy~!" Sir Knight's Mother whines as the two of you are flung along until you arrive at the steps of Sir Knight's Mother's place of work.
  190.
  191. "We're here!" You exclaim brightly.
  192.
  193. "Yes, I can see that...but why...WHY DID YOU HAVE TO THROW US HERE?!" She yells, which causes you to recoil in fear.
  194.
  195. "Scary...scary..." you mutter "I don't like scary things."
  196.
  197. "Urk...uh...look, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you...just don't do that again okay?
  198.
  199. "Um...okay." you mumble moving a bit closer to her, but far enough that you can run if need be
  200.
  201. "Well...since we're here, let's go inside"
  202.
  203. You're led inside by her and onto an elevator which takes you up rather high...so high in fact that your ears begin to pop. When the elevator stops, you arrive at a long white hallway, with numerous doors, Sir Knight's Mother taking you towards a certain one that leads to a woman sitting around a bunch of monitors and doing something with some chemicals.
  204.
  205. "Now then...tell her what you told me. I have to go call Tim and let him know he has to walk to school today..." She steps outside the room, leaving you and the woman here, who turns to look at you.
  206.
  207. "And what do you want?" she asks gruffly
  208.
  209. She's scary. She reminds you of them. Same white coat, glasses, and same attitude
  210.
  211. "Um..."
  212.
  213. "Speak up already!"
  214.
  215. Scary...scary....so scary. Will she hurt you?
  216.
  217. >Calm down, retell the story
  218. >Restrain her with the hands
  219. >Run! It's not safe, too scary!
  220. >Cower
  221. >Other/Write-in
  222.
  223. >Restrain her with the hands
  224. >Run! It's not safe, too scary!
  225. >Let go when far enough away
  226.
  227. "Hey kid, I'm talking to you. What are you here-fo-hurk!"
  228.
  229. You don't let her finish as you restrain her with your hands, she's dangerous, like all the other people who wore white. You're scared, you have to find Sir Knight's Mother and run! You turn tail and run, fleeing down the hallway. You can feel your hands losing their grip, you're getting further away after all, and just as you do you find Sir Knight's Mother looking alarmed.
  230.
  231. "Hazel, what's wrong?" she asks taking your hand to calm you down
  232.
  233. "The woman in white is dangerous. Scary! Vile! Demonic, she'll hurt us!"
  234.
  235. She gives you a sideways glance and looks down the hallway
  236.
  237. "Ms.Crescent? You're uh...you're kidding right?"
  238.
  239. The pleading look on your eyes tells her a different story and she lets out a sigh
  240.
  241. "Look, I think I can handle this...just stay behind me, I won't let her hurt you okay?"
  242.
  243. Well it is Sir Knight's Mother...surely she could be helpful to you right?
  244.
  245. >Stay behind her
  246. >Wait outside
  247. >Get the Hands at the ready
  248. >Other/Write-in
  249.
  250. >stay behind her but Keep a few hands at the ready
  251.
  252. You agree with her words and stay with her. Though you're behind her back, you make sure to have a few hands at the ready, prepared to clobber the woman if she gets out of hand. The two of you make your way back to the room and of course, once you step inside, the woman begins yelling.
  253.
  254. "Why the hell is she here, that's her isn't it?! One of the assassins?!"
  255.
  256. "Look Ms.Crescent, it's not what you think."
  257.
  258. "What is it then?!"
  259.
  260. The yelling continues, but once is all calmed down, you begin to speak, and what you tell the woman in the labcoat about your dream. She's silent...before having a grim look on her face.
  261.
  262. "Shit...I didn't think someone like this would actually happen...at least not in my lifetime."
  263. "What's this all about? Do you know something?" Sir Knight's Mother asks curiously
  264.
  265. "Believe me, I wish I didn't. Now I don't know how much time we have left, but things are going to get shitty. I want you and the others on full alert,I'll get in contact if there's a call on the police scanners and such...I'll have to call in some help and a few other things as well..."
  266.
  267. "Just what are you talking about?" Sir Knight's mother cries in a confused voice. "You're really not making any sense here."
  268.
  269. "Okay, here's the short version. You know God right?"
  270.
  271. "Er...yes?"
  272.
  273. "Okay, so he basically locked away another God, keeping her from interfering with the reality of this world. However...sometimes there are tears. She's always actively trying to find one or make one...and when she does..."
  274.
  275. "Wait wait, who is this evil God?"
  276.
  277. "Lioxal, Goddess of Ruin. If what our little friend here-"
  278.
  279. "That's me!" you state with a smile."
  280.
  281. "Right. If what she says is right, a tear occurred and she managed to slip a bit of herself through."
  282.
  283. "How do you know all this...?"
  284.
  285. "I have my ways." she replies drinking some water
  286.
  287. >Did I do good?
  288. >This God gives me a fright, will all be alright?"
  289. >Marvel at the buttons, resist the urge to push them(Push them anyway)
  290. >Other/Write-in
  291.
  292. >Marvel at the buttons, resist the urge to push them(Push them anyway)
  293.
  294. You can't really follow what all these two are talking about. Mean Gods? Reality? Tears? You don't like tears at least. Things should be happy! And it's then that you notice all the pretty buttons around the room. Some blink, others boop, and you can't help but marvel at them all.
  295.
  296. However, you do recall something from Sir Knight: "Hazel, if you ever are in a room with a big red button, DO NOT PUSH IT. Trust me on this, nothing good will come of it."
  297.
  298. That's right...he did tell you that. You should do your best to follow his advice, after all, he's' been helpful to you this entire time.
  299.
  300. ...
  301.
  302. .............
  303.
  304. .......................................
  305.
  306. ..................................................
  307.
  308. Maybe just one?
  309.
  310. You take out your hands and while the two continue talking, you snake them over several buttons...and hit them all in quick succession.
  311.
  312. Instantly, a loud alarm begins blaring
  313.
  314. "ENGAGING GILDED CAGE LOCKDOWN, SECURITY DRONES ARE EN-ROUTE TO INTERCEPT INTRUDERS, ALL WEAPONS ARE ARMED!"
  315.
  316. "W-what the hell is this?!" Sir Knight's Mother asks
  317.
  318. "Goddammit! She just activated the security of the place!"
  319.
  320. "Your Security involves Security drones?!"
  321.
  322. "LOOK I LIKE TO BE CERTAIN OF THINGS OKAY, JUST CALM DOWN I HAVE THIS UNDER CONTROL!"
  323.
  324. The labcoat woman begins to hurridly type on her keyboard, furiously hammering away as she tries to undo whatever it is you did. It takes her 20 minutes, but everything settles down eventually.
  325.
  326. "Sorry about that everyone, minor hiccup in the security system." She turns to you and Sir Knight's Mother, looking pissed
  327.
  328. "Er...Ms.Crescent...?"
  329.
  330. "Out."
  331.
  332. "E-eh...?"
  333.
  334. "GET OUT, NOW!" She roars her face turning as red as a tomato
  335.
  336. The two of you quickly run out of the room, and hop on the elevator and get to the outside of the building.
  337.
  338. >So what shall we do now?
  339. >That was fun! Let's do it again!
  340. >Fling your way back home
  341. >Other/Write-in
  342.
  343. >That was fun! Let's do it again!
  344. >Can we go for Ice cream?
  345.
  346. "That was fun! Let's do it again!" You exclaim getting ready to head back into the door.
  347.
  348. "Whoa there Hazel, I don't think that's a good idea."
  349.
  350. "But why?"
  351.
  352. "Because Ms.Crescent was angry."
  353.
  354. "But..."
  355.
  356. "No buts, that's enough fun for the day.
  357.
  358. "Awww...can we go for ice cream?
  359.
  360. "...."
  361.
  362. "Pleaaaaase~?"
  363.
  364. "Fine, let's go...but...crap my car. It's not here and-"
  365.
  366. "I can handle that!"
  367.
  368. "Huh? How? Wait, no!"
  369.
  370. Before she can protest any more, you and Sir Knight's Mother are being flung throug the air to the nearest ice cream store, dozens of passerby looking at you as you both fly. Upon arrival, you both enjoy some wonderful tasting Ice Cream, it's just a shame that Sir Knight isn't with you to enjoy it.
  371.
  372. Perhaps you can make it up to him once you return home? Besides, the ill omens on the horizon...perhaps you should cherish this small window of relative peace?
  373.
  374. To Be Continued
  375.
  376. -Bonus-
  377. As Tim walked into his house, he let out a sigh. It was another boring day at school. Nothing much went on, but his friends and everyone else were talking about the disappearance of Orange Sun, or Jane as he knew her. The girl had been gone an entire week. No communication, no nothing. The others were concerned, and the wrecked jet that was recovered had no female bodies on it.
  378.
  379. "What a day..." he muttered going to his room and sitting down. He instantly flicked on the tv, only for his sight to be obscured by Hazel.
  380.
  381. "Uwaaaaaah, Man Hazel, you scared me there."
  382.
  383. "So sorry, so sorry, I meant not to scare, I merely wanted to show you I cared?"
  384.
  385. "Show me you cared? What do you mean-mmmf!"
  386.
  387. Before Tim could do anything, the young girl had planted a kiss directly on his lips.
  388.
  389. "W-what was that for?"
  390.
  391. "I had ice cream today, and I wanted to share the taste with you. Did you taste it?"
  392.
  393. "Uh..." he licked his lips for a moment, before speaking again "You had chocolate?"
  394.
  395. That's correct! Oh Sir Knight, you are most marvelous!"
  396.
  397. "Uh thanks....?"
  398.
  399. Hazel bounded towards the door, but just as she does she turns to Tim, a surprisingly cold look on her face "We must prepare. Someone or Some*thing* is coming...And Tim, I do not want to lose you."
  400.
  401. Putting on her smile, she proceeded to skip merrily out of the room and down the hall, leaving Tim to shudder at the words she just parted with.
