  1. So, recently I had done several Marry Muffy speedrun attempts in a row that all had the same pattern:
  2. Van on spring 1 and, Muffy walking toward the pond after the 1st cutscene. (Some of these runs were on different days.)
  3.
  4. After those runs, I started doing Celia runs. Her house was always closed on spring 3. This happened for about 3-5 attempts. Again, in a row. (Some also on different days.)

  6. I was getting frustrated, but someone suggested I remove / clear the save data of the memory card.
  7. I did another attempt, switching memory cards during the intro, (All attempts were on the same card, with the same saves, until I switched them out now. I also started this attempt with the same card as the others.) They were still closed on spring 3. After this attempt, I just removed the card before starting, and they weren't closed. I also got a 6:04* intro, which wasn't played as well as others in the past, and I had to select the option to play without saving, which I estimated to loose about a second to a second and a half, and those runs only got a 6:06. I started to realize that loading screens seemed a tad faster than usual. All attempts I did after removing the memory card had random RNG. So, I think that the saves I had on the memory card had something to do with the RNG that I got, meaning that it may be possible to manipulate the RNG that you get, making runs more reliable, and faster. This is just a theory though, and I may have just gotten really odd luck. Either way, no memory card most likely saves time on faster loading screens, and RNG manipulation may be possible in the future.
