A Trick for a Trick

Walking around the pumpkin patch right in hallow's eve is a scary experience. There's no lights but the very moonlight to shine the way, and you only see pumpkins along the ground, but that doesn't really matter. Tonight, you're playing your trick.

The owner of this patch had been quite the nuisance in preparations for Halloween so you decided to knock him down a peg in the spirit of Halloween, and smash the giant pumpkin he's so proud of raising.

It doesn't take too long to find it, the thing is rather large, but it doesn't really matter to you. As soon as you find it, you smash the thing in with a good stomp of your foot. Despite it's size, the pumpkin caves in rather easily. You grin at your mischief and try to picture the face of the farmer when he realizes his prized pumpkin is ruined. When you try to pull your feet out however, you find resistance of it. It doesnt want to come out.

Annoyed, you pull at your own leg but it doesn't budge. While doing so however, you notice something... the pumpkin is... moving. The smashed bits are swirling around, and you can... you can feel something cold creep under your clothing! The aroma of the pumpkin's insides become much stronger.

You can barely react to that however as you soon find yourself feeling rather... bloated. You look down on yourself and see your belly... expanding, getting larger and larger, and when it starts poking out of your shirt, you see it's now colored orange, with a few, faint divisions on its rind-like surface.

This can't be happening.

You try to run away, to get out of this place, but now, neither of your legs respond. The pumpkin you smashed is now gone, and all you see are the vines that were supposed to come from it now swirling around your legs and digging their way into them, ripping your pants out of the way, they start to bloat as well, and you feel your height decreasing as your legs shorten on each second.

You want to scream but whatever's doing this to you seems to be able to read your mind and you feel vines crawl up into your mouth... they taste oddly sweet... very much sweet and... almost syrupy? They're dripping something right into your mouth... you should be panicking but... it's so hard to...

With each gulp of that sweet liquid, you hear words echoing into your head, making it hard to focus on much else.

"Just relax. You'll be fine. Look at you, so big. It's almost harvest, just behave..."

You find yourself compelled to hear those words, and all else starts to lose meaning. Your whole body is now reducing in size, your legs are pretty much gone by now, and your arms soon follow, merging into your pumpkin torso.

You were having a hard time remembering why you were so nervous now.... it's gonna be nice being a pumpkin... certainly it will be...

The features of your face slowly disappear as your head dwindles into your pumpkin body, you wobble in place a little longer before finally going still... just a pumpkin now, somehow planted atop some shredded clothing, and quite the content pumpkin at that.

Feeling the moonlight shining over you in that silent night feels nice, so you certainly notice when something blocks the light out

"Ah, there you are. Thought you could ruin my pumpkins, huh?" You hear a gruff, masculine boom above you. You guess he is kinda right... even if you don't quite get it too well, you did smash a pumpkin but... you're also one yourself. How odd.

"Well, you're smaller than the one you smashed but still big enough for what I have planned" the voice says, and you feel yourself picked up from the ground, vines being cut off from you to allow for that. It feels a bit painful, but this also leaves you excited. You're being harvested after all!

"Yep, hefty as you are, I'm sure you'll be enough. Heheh. This is how you'll be helping me for this halloween, so think well about what you did until you're back"

The voice talks like he's giving you a playful lecture but you don't know what he's talking about. You're just a pumpkin, and, being harvested was all you wanted. You just cant wait for what's ahead of you.

((Just so there isnt any implied death or anything. Part 1 is the pumpkin TF, part 2 would be the "preparation, using the pumpkin's insides to make sweets and pastries and what have you while using the rind to make a Jack-o-lantern, and the last part having the Jack-o-lantern convert fully into a lantern monster on halloween night, with the whole TF reverting by the end of Halloween. ))
