  1. Going to try to hit literally every game I've done at some point on stream.
  2.
  3. What people probably know and follow me for:
  4.
  5. Persona 4 Golden: Honestly, this is still my favorite speedrun, warts and all. Doing P3P made me realize just how deep the combat mechanics for the game go- boss fights in this are light years better than Portable. I *might* look into, with the new undubbing stuff, seeing if we can replace or remove the FFWD sound effect, especially if it were to somehow get into a marathon. Heck, replacing it with Heartbeat Heartbreak would be awesome. I don't know if I'd allow a run on that to be on the leaderboard though. Easily the run I want to improve the most; 11:15 or bust!
  6.
  7. Catherine: Babel Solo is okay as it is; deathless and completing a run is enough for now. I'll be doing Babel Pairs analysis and relearning and reclaiming the crown there. The new times are good; really good. I'll need to eliminate my worst habits, play to my strengths and just get better all around if I want to take it back. That said, I'll talk to Isuyaru about maybe offering a race for AGDQ. I think having two people go at it, while the game has an obvious score counter could really work well. This also just got into Deucecon, so that gives me even more incentive to push this game to its limit.
  8.
  9. Persona 3 Portable: So learning this game in a week was a disaster. But it was fun. I think better notes on how to get grind kills would allow for the run to be done much easier. Nyx is a really fun final boss (I know, RNG 10 hours in sounds brutal, but the fight is epic, amazing music, and it's just fun to play), but the rest of the game's boss fights are a bit of a drag - it's missing the variety and differences that make P4G a really deep run imo (Seriously, compare the number of used personas across both games. That said, I'll be looking to improve it at some point.
  10.
  11. Everything else:
  12.
  13. Smash 4: This might not fit under speedgames, but whatever, it's my pastebin lmao. Still using Rosa and shockingly, she's getting more fun to use after a period where I wasn't liking her. Something clicked at Evo. Doubles is amazing still, I'm playing better and just having more fun with the game than ever. I really feel like I'm on the edge of being one of the better players in DFW if I played good players consistently. Robin is still an awesome side character for when I want a 1 or 2 match break from using Rosa. Should be fun to continue.
  14.
  15. FF Crystal Chronicles: I don't see myself going back to this... I had a lot of fun with it, but the way it ended was great. I showed off everything I wanted to in RPGLB15 and I'm really grateful to have had the opportunity. The only way I see myself going back to this is to be the guy that does the run in the FF Relay... but that probably forces a category I don't enjoy as much (I much prefer running English/glitchless over running glitched).
  16.
  17. DK: Tropical Freeze: On hiatus as well. Adore the community, but it's passed me by at this point. It'd be a long derust process, and even if I did, the derust I tried for Deucecon put me off running the game again. Maybe 100% could open a new spark but I think moving on beyond a marathon run or commentary is fine. I did have an absolute blast commentating it at SGDQ
  18.
  19. Valkyria Chronicles 1/2: With all due respect to the awesome runners of these, neither of them is for me anymore. VC1 feels too scripted, and stutter stepping in VC2 just... isn't as fun as my old route. It's a very skewed risk reward that I found kinda ruins the balance of the game. Maybe eventually, VC3 will hit the sweet spot, but until then, I'll be taking a break from trying to push these series (unfortunately. I do really think it's one of the best series ever made)
  20.
  21. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle: I like it as a race and some of the friends I made by running it were really cool. That said, I never have and probably never will take it super seriously.
  22.
  23. The World Ends With You: I need a DS capture before I take this more seriously. Ironically, the thing I love about my 3DS XL capture card makes this unviable; the size is too straining on my hands when you have to use it one handed and all the buttons on the one hand. It got better when resting on a table so I might try again, but there are other games that don't make my hand feel like it's breaking on me while running it. It isn't even the combat that's bad; the mashing through cutscenes and movement is much harder. I love the run though and would love to keep pushing it.
  24.
  25. Yo-kai Watch: My time in this game sucks, but I don't necessarily have motivation to beat it unless somebody else pushes me. I've got the best time in No QR/Pass, and I think QPS (although if I'm a few mins behind Osey, that's fine. It's not a definable category to begin with). Osey wants to push YW2 when it comes out... but I'm not sure I'll do more than learn the route to help with potential marathon commentary. From what I know, SUCAH isn't patched out and it broke the game the wrong way (It may sound like I'm totally against glitches/new tech; I swear I'm not! However, I am against when they make the route less interesting and fun to execute, and that's the case here).
  26.
  27. Sonic Boom: Had fun, was fun, feeling free to move on. Never took too seriously, but was fun to play with.
  28.
  29. Tembo: Not sure how seriously to take this. It's fun, decently short, and has enough playfulness to it. But the music isn't overly amazing, it's not the shortest run, and I really don't want to be the guy that's like "Look, you guys are all timing this way... but it'd be better if you did this" (IGT is just objectively better but nobody on the leaderboards used it). I'll offer it for a GDQ and see what happens, but it might be about 20 minutes too long for what it is.
  30.
  31. Tales of Xillia: I actually really dislike this game and run. The only way it was fun was with the 4P shenanigans at RPGLB. Even then, I think the poor balance (and these issues go way beyond Rowen. If Rowen wasn't broken, Elize would be every bit as broken, just slower), bland music and annoyingly bad fights just didn't make this fun to run or play. It has good segments but far more bad ones. Someday, I'll pick up a Tales game I really enjoy both casually and at high level though (Symphonia, Vesperia, Graces F)
  32.
  33. Pokemon AS: Fun. I'm bad. I will probably always be bad. But it's fun to run so we'll see if anything more comes of it.
  34.
  35. Sonic Heroes: Did it for a 12 hour challenge. I submitted it to a few marathons with the intent of getting better if it ever gets in, but it hasn't, which is totally fine. It may be a backup run again for RttF2 if/when that happens, so maybe I'll do more with it then.
  36.
  37. Ni No Kuni: So I've been secretly learning this on the side. Good music, great story. Combat is cool but enemies are a bit damage spongey and a few fights are actually awful. Still should be fun; has the right combination of cool strats and subtle glitchiness
  38.
  39. Future stuff:
  40.
  41. Games I'm planning on offering to AGDQ:
  42. P4G, Catherine, Tembo
  43. P4G won't get in. Catherine will be pairs offer again, potentially as a race. Solo, even if it wasn't as hard as it is, would make for a poor marathon watch; slow and sometimes hard to see the difficulty. May offer Axis Mundi as an incentive? Tembo could be a fun run/watch if done properly, although I need to figure out what energy to project for it.
  44.
  45. Games I'm (maybe) planning on offering to RPGLB:
  46. P5, P4G, Atelier Shallie, TWEWY, Ni No Kuni, Tales/something with Xillia Crew
  47. Okay, so this is a much more tentative list. You'll see a lot of games I haven't done a ton of. P5 requires that I manage a route on the Japanese version. I'm hoping the fundamentals from P3P and P4 carry over. It's a weird place, but I think doing the run 4 or 5 months post US release is enough to where people won't tune out for spoiler fear, while keeping the game as relevant as possible. That said, the run has to be good enough, and short enough. P4G has issues, but can be really cool if handled properly. I'd love to try to find ways to handle the down time; stuff like skype interviews with, say, Lotus Juice or John could be really cool and fill the hour really well. AS is a cool game and a potentially really cool run, I need to learn and play with the Japanese runners route (and see if Escha breaks the game open further. She's stupid good). TWEWY is a great game and great run, the question is if I'm the runner that can showcase this at the level that needs to happen for the marathon (Eekcast would by by far the best pick). Ni No Kuni is a fun, beautiful game, but on the longer side. I don't plan on submitting a Tales solo run until Symphonia gets a showcase. The Xillia Crew may end up working with something that isn't Dragon's Crown and I may be a part of that. I also don't know if I get a game off this list to be quite honest, unless P5 is 7 hours. P3P doesn't fit Limit Break at all, despite decent marathon pacing.
  48.
  49. I'd like to retry the P3P P4G back-to-back again sometime. P3P took way too much out of me last time and then when P4G put up an early wall, there wasn't enough in the tank to get over the hump. Next time, if P3P doesn't kill me as much, and I play P4G much safer, I feel like it'll be better.
  50.
  51. TMS is still in progress some, but the route stalled after a strat I thought was 50% consistent just... doesn't work any more lmao. We'll see what else I can come up with, but even if I did, there's another wall right around the corner. It has its moments, but has other issues.
