  1. How To Do Trio Grab Skip in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros.
  2.
  3. To do this, first play up to getting Trio Hammer. Then backtrack all the way to the village in Sunbeam Plains. Now do Paper Mario Storage (https://youtu.be/OJ1_GAbIE30), and get the Walk Through Walls (https://youtu.be/lPELka1UtS0) effect from it. Then make your way to the other Lakitu Info Centre in Sunbeam Plains. Be careful to not bump against objects such as NPCs and heart blocks, as this can slightly raise your height which will preventing loading zones from activating. If this does happen though, it can be fixed by jumping on an enemy with Mario. In the room before the Info Centre, run through the bottom loading zone and then hold straight left. This will line you up with the loading zone for the Info Centre perfectly. Now exit the Info Centre and you will have Fast Forward Storage (https://youtu.be/NO3-RAvtI_g). Now run to East Gloomy Woods.
  4. Once in Gloomy Woods, take an invisible loading zone at the left of the screen, and then go straight back through. This will change your height, making it possible to take the top loading zone.
  5.
  6. MAKE SURE YOU STOP RUNNING before you go to the next screen, as otherwise the cutscene will activate and you will be stuck forever.
  7.
  8. When you do enter the screen while walking, just hold right, and then you can dash as soon as you start moving. In the next room there are no cutscene triggers to avoid, so just run straight through the electric fence to the loading zone behind it. Then in the next room, there are triggers to avoid. You want to make sure you don't go near the middle of the room, as that will make Wiggler talk to you, cancelling WTW. The Kamek cutscene can also play, so make sure you go through the very top of the top loading zone.
  9. Now go into the Info Centre and talk to the Lakitu to cancel the glitch. Make sure no-one is behind the counter when you do this, as you'll end up stuck. Then just run up the slopes, walk past the eerily stationary Paper Kamek and Wiggler, and talk to an invisible Flutter to go to Mount Brrr. Once in Mount Brrr get Trio Drill, and then just go straight back to Gloomy Woods.
  10. Back in Gloomy Woods you want to run down to the bottom loading zone. This will now give you Kamek Cutscene Storage (https://youtu.be/o5OcCK2ipVY). Jumping can crash the game, so just walk to the left loading zone while holding R, navigating using the touchscreen. In the next room you can do an OoB using a trick called Trio Drill Fast Forward Glitch (https://youtu.be/u8YLtbMDoRE), and then just walk around to the loading zone at the top-left of the room. In the next room no enemies are present, which is handy. After navigating that room, you'll end up in the room with a ! block on a web. You'll be stuck behind a gate though. Getting past this gate isn't too bad, but I make it seem difficult in the video. You can switch between up-left and down-left to clip a lot more easily than I did. You can also use Trio Drill once Mario and Luigi have clipped in, to be boosted to the other side of the gate. Now go over to the web and press Y to get Paper Mario on it, and then get him to hit the ! block.
  11. After the cutscene you will be stuck with only Luigi, and the camera will be frozen. You will now want to save and then reload the game to speed up Luigi's movement: I didn't do this in the video. Then you will need to do an OoB called Fence Clip to reach the bottom section of the screen. This can be done after going to the screen to the right and then back again so you can see what you're doing, but it's faster to do it only by looking at the touchscreen. Going to the other screen and back also has the annoying side-effect of making all the enemies on the screen appear, which is best avoided.
  12. This is what the clip looks like, and instructions on how to do in are in the description of this video: https://youtu.be/O01Rpr3s-A8
  13. Once past that screen, do an OoB called Leaf Clip (https://youtu.be/GqTK9ZjCl7E?t=1m50s), and go to the Gloomy Woods village. Then talk to a Lakitu in the Info Centre to get Mario and Paper Mario back. If you end up stuck Out of Bounds, then running up or up-left and jumping should let you escape. Now just take the pipe to North Gloomy Woods, and ride on Flutter to reach Mount Brrr once again. Then climb up the platforms and take the pipe straight to the village.
  14. Once in the village, you have two options: the first is to take the warp pipe back to Sunbeam Plains, get PMS again, and then save and reload in the Mount Brrr village. Then go back to the Plains and warp, enter the tunnel and exit, and let the cutscene play out fully. You have to make sure Mario stays OoB after the cutscene finishes which can be kinda annoying, but it's not too bad. This method is slower, but easier.
  15. The second option is what I do in the video: you have to do the OoB usually used here (http://youtu.be/i4sQTGYRXxQ) without Trio Grab, which is pretty difficult. What I realised is that the clip is a lot more consistent if you hold up and then very slowly rotate the circle pad clockwise until you clip, which should help anyone struggling with this. Once Mario is OoB you have to jump, and then do the clip again while not being able to see what's actually going on. You can tell you've got it if Mario moves directly right instead of down-right. Then press B to get Luigi up as well, and do the same thing again to get everyone OoB. From here you will need to get back down to ground level. The best way I could find to do this was to walk downwards while in line with the corner that sticks down, and then switch to up the instant you start falling. This sounds hard, but isn't too bad once you practice it a little. Then just walk to the tunnel, and enter from the side or the back.
  16. Once you're in the tunnel, walk straight back out and back in again to get Fast Forward Storage for a third time. Then you will need to do a slightly more complicated version of this trick: https://youtu.be/CQBZO2VbZXQ. The breakthrough that made this route possible was when SolidifiedGaming found out that doing the intial clip into the drill-able wall could clip all 3 characters in without Trio Grab if you did it while using fast forward. From there the trick is basically the same as before, so refer to that video's description for exact details on how to do it. The only difference is that for the final clip, you will need to be facing left or right so that all 3 characters go into the wall at once.
  17. After the tunnel, run around the bottom edge of the next room to avoid encounters. I forgot to do this in this video. Then in the room with the switches, you'll want to go and hit the red switch as soon as you gain control. I forgot to do this, but it's faster. After that there's one final OoB that needs to be done (https://youtu.be/bmdWC5nKFL0). Do a drill dash from the same spot I do, facing right. If you do it right, you should be shot into the sky a little. Then tap down ever so slightly, and press A or B. Now just run over to the blue switch and hit it, and voila! You've skipped Trio Grab! Beating King Bob-Omb gives you back any abilities you've skipped, in this case Trio Grab and Trio Plane. This is because the game takes all the abilities away from you when you go up the Toads, and it just assumes you have all of them when it gives them back to you at the top.
