  1. Keep in mind that Koeles possesses a nearly infinite amount of gifts, with each gift having its own unique quirks and powers to it. This list is not even remotely close to all of them that participants can take on, but are common aspects of gifts, and typical circumstances in which he gives them.
  2. **Multiple Lives.** A participant with a gift of multiple lives must die more than once before they are slain. Any time they would die but not lose their last life, their body regenerates over the course of one minute, and during this minute, they cannot move or act, but also cannot be harmed. Typical receivers of this gift are those who have suffered great struggles in their past and overcame them, almost like a trial of sorts.
  3. **Mana Reserve.** A participant with this gift has an exceptionally high amount of magical energy, tied to a destructible object of sorts that must be kept close to them at all times, or else they do not benefit from it. While the participant has this object, they can cast spells and expend mana seemingly endlessly, but this gift is fragile, and once it is destroyed, it is never coming back. Typical receivers of this gift are those who are exceptionally well-studied in magic, or those who are somehow tied to a specific object, such as an artifact or heirloom.
  4. **Dimensional Vault.** A participant with this gift can concentrate for several uninterrupted seconds (usually between 3-6) to step into or out of a small dimension, one which can only be accessed by them, Koeles, and anyone touching their body when they step into the dimension. The dimension is about 120 feet in diameter, and a person can stay in it for up to an hour, before they are immediately forced back out to where they previously were. Any objects inside the vault can be held there, provided the participant is able to lift and carry them. Typical receivers of this gift are people with an affinity for collecting and stealing.
  5. **Natural Defenses.** A participant with this gift can strengthen and alter their body at will. This can include sharpening fingernails into giant claws, hardening flesh to be like stone, sharpening hair to be as long and sharp as whips, and other similar traits. It will eventually stop working temporarily if constantly used in a short period of time, typically occurring if nails and defenses are shattered and regrown numerous times in one fight, but it only requires about an hour or two of rest to be back at full power. Typical receivers of this gift often are those who work towards perfecting their body, like monks or body builders, or are those associated with specific body parts, such as hairdressers.
  6. **Bound Weapon.** A participant with this gift binds one specific weapon with themselves--and can change which weapon is bonded by practicing with the weapon for 10 minute--and makes it exceptionally powerful, able to break through solid steel. It will also possess a special property, such as if the weapon is thrown, it will immediately return to the participant's hands after missing or hitting. Typical receivers of this gift are often masters of specific weapons, such as those who practice kendo or fencing.
  7. **Spirit Calling.** A participant with this gift is able to conjure forth spirits to do their bidding. They may be able to call forth one specific powerful spirit, or perhaps several weaker spirits. The spirits might be of their ancestors, of their victims, of friends they had lost, or potentially even manifestations of their dreams (or nightmares) given form. Typical receivers of this gift often have a connection with the dead or sleeping, such as by being a grave-robber, undertaker, hypnotist, or therapist.
