  1. 06[23:23] * primordialSight PM's vanishingPoint: (Hi Em. Do you have a few moments?)
  2. [23:23] <primordialSight> [You're sitting on the top of Bash's Spire, the Smith having thought you left a few munites ago. You were there discussing Thalia, and the fact that blue is an atrocious colour for a child's room. The conversation has triggered a few ideas in your mind, and so, you decide to contact Em about them.]
  3. 04[23:24] * @vanishingPoint PMs primordialSight (I've got more than a few. Whats up?)
  4. 06[23:26] * primordialSight PM's vanishingPoint: (So... I've just visited Bash, we were talking about Thalia, so he's been really busy. Your thoughts, blue for a child's room, yes or no?)
  5. 04[23:26] <@vanishingPoint> [You chuckle. You were expecting something a little more...sbustantial of a question.]
  6. 04[23:27] * @vanishingPoint PMs primordialSight (A sky blue might be nice.)
  7. 06[23:30] * primordialSight PM's vanishingPoint: (Oh my god, you people have no taste.)
  8. 06[23:30] * primordialSight PM's vanishingPoint: (Ehehe. But no, that's not really why I'm contacting you. Can you meet me at the training grounds?)
  9. 04[23:30] * @vanishingPoint PMs primordialSight (Whats wrong with blue? And sure, I can meet you there.)
  10. 04[23:30] * @vanishingPoint PMs primordialSight ( (I mean, yes, green is the superior colour, but blues nice too) )
  11. [23:32] <primordialSight> [You jump off the top of the Spire, landing lightly, and set off towards the place Bash had set up. Running acidly through your mind are the words she told you last time she met you there. You touch the side of your visor.]
  12. 06[23:32] * primordialSight PM's vanishingPoint: (Green I can respect, but blue? Eugh, no. Red all the way, or at least white. Let's not overload the baby. :P)
  13. 04[23:33] <@vanishingPoint> [You're already waiting at the arena, having made a few jumps in time.]
  14. 04[23:34] * @vanishingPoint PMs primordialSight (Red never really fit as a colour you'd paint a room in my opinion. Whites okay, but bland.)
  15. 06[23:36] * primordialSight PM's vanishingPoint: (Cream then, or pink. Reckon you can talk Bash into it? Thalia is female... as far as I'm aware. He spent a lot of time explaining what AIs are to me.)
  16. [23:36] <primordialSight> [You appear at the top of one of the taller buildings in the training grounds in short order, and sit at the top with your legs outstretched over the edge.]
  17. 04[23:37] * @vanishingPoint PMs primordialSight (I'll see what I can do. And you might want to look down.)
  18. 04[23:38] <@vanishingPoint> [You're waiting near the bottom of the buildings. Craning your neck to look up.]
  19. [23:38] <primordialSight> [You don't even look, but instead just launch yourself off with your hands, the Breeze cushioning your fall as you land a short distance away from your co-player. "I have to say, I'm beginning to really like this dynamic entry thing. Reckon it gets me ARC?" you ask, grinning, in way of greeting.]
  20. 04[23:40] <@vanishingPoint> ["It probably doesn't hurt." You say in response, walking over. You're not in your god-tier outfit, preferring the mobility of your regular shorts and t-shirt. "Though if you left a crator where you landed, that'd probably help."]
  21. [23:42] <primordialSight> [You frown thoughtfully. "Maybe so." and you fold your arms. Now that you're here, you're a bit reluctant to broach the topic. "Am I speaking to present Em, or future Em? Not that it really matters, but..." you hum, awkwardly.]
  22. 04[23:44] <@vanishingPoint> ["Future to you, yes. The me thats concurrant to this point in time is...elsewhen at the moment. I needed some time to think. I'm covering in the mean time, though I'm not /too/ far ahead." You offer your tattoo'd hand as proof, with only the simple Time ideograil on it.]
  23. [23:46] <primordialSight> [You make a face, but let it go. You know there isn't anything you can do to help, nor even get to her part or the timeline in order to do so. "Are you ok?" you ask, clasping your hands behind your back. "Bash didn't go into any details about what exactly happened, but I saw Skaia, and I saw Bash refusing to leave his house for days...]
  24. 04[23:50] <@vanishingPoint> [You make a face at the mention of Bash not leaving his Spire. "I'm going to have to go have words with him later. As for me, well..." You shrug. "Well enough, really. I've had a lot more time to come to terms with it, and its not exactly my first death. It gets easier as you go along, though its never really /easy/." You pause, considering. "As for what happened. It was ignorance and stupidity on both our parts and we both paid for it. Its not going to happen again though, and trust me when I say you don't actually want to know the details."]
  25. [23:52] <primordialSight> [You look very dubious about that. "Just... don't be hard on him, ok? He's thrown himself into Thalia to get his mind off it... it's obvious that whatever happened, it's... really getting to him. I suspect he'll be fine, but..." you look even more awkward, but you raise your eyes to meet Em's.]
  26. 04[23:53] <@vanishingPoint> ["He had to kill me. I'd be more worried if it didn't rattle him." You walk over and give him a hug. "I'm not going to be hard on him. I'm just annoyed that he told me he was fine and then proceeded to not talk to me about what happened."]
  27. [23:55] <primordialSight> [You lower your eyes again, and lean into the hug. "What do you mean, he told you he was fine? Do you mean the AI thing?" you tilt your head. You can't see Em being fussed about that, but you've seen stranger things...]
  28. 04[23:57] <@vanishingPoint> [You huff. "The idiot boy told me that he had dealt with it cause he is an AI. Increased processing speed or whatever." You grumble a bit.]
  29. [23:58] <primordialSight> [Understanding blossoms in your mind, and you furrow your brows. "Oh." and you tug away, again looking at an interesting floor tile instead of at your co-player. "There's another thing."]
  30. 04[23:59] <@vanishingPoint> ["Oh?" You lean against the side of the building.]
  31. [00:00] <primordialSight> [You bite you lip with a sheepish grin. "I don't know if you've gone through that particular part of your own timeline yet, but do you remember when we were here last?"]
  32. 04[00:01] <@vanishingPoint> [You nod. "Yeah?"]
  33. [00:03] <primordialSight> [You move your fingers, and XIV - Intergration's illusion breaks, and flies from the nearby wall to your hand in a spray of colour, revealing the card it was hiding - the Father of Fire. "Would I have caught you?" you ask, raising your eyebrows. You're torn between pride and loathing that this even needs to be an option, but you fight to keep both from your face.]
  34. [00:06] <primordialSight> [As Intergration fades away, the other cards set up around the arena also appear in a wave, ranging from the weakest to the strongest. It seems most of his deck is scattered around the area. The entire place is booby trapped.]
  35. 04[00:08] <@vanishingPoint> [You raise an eyebrow at the card, a little impressed. "Yes and no. If I wasn't Time and knew there were loops I hadn't done? Yes you would have. Would you have killed me?" You make a half-hearted shrug. "Maybe. If you hadn't killed me right off, [That is Not How it Happened] would reset me to a few seconds before and from there its a simple [Pause] to get out of the way."]
  36. [00:10] <primordialSight> [You nod slowly. "I... ok. So, I had a kinda playful conversation with Bash, about him not contacting me earlier, and offered to get ARC by breaking his door down. He told me he'd get more by fixing it again... it's made me think that my own ARC is quite low. I'm a really good Seer, I suppose, but the Breath part..." you shrug.]
  37. 04[00:11] <@vanishingPoint> ["Not quite living up to your potential you figure? Don't feel too bad, second session is the worst." Well, besides the first. "And you...want to try something like this?"]
  38. [00:13] <primordialSight> [You bite your lip, much harder. "If you die, it won't be Heroic or Just. And... you're the most talented replayer I'll probably ever come across... if I can catch you, I can catch anyone." your words are speeding up, but you catch yourself, calming slowly.]
  39. 04[00:16] <@vanishingPoint> [You trace your lips with the tip of your thumb, staring off into the distance. "Well, flattery is a good way to get me on to this. But I'm not going to want to spend the entire session having to worry that you're going to pull a blade and shank me in a hug or something."]
  40. [00:19] <primordialSight> ["I wouldn't hug a PKer." you counter, and with it, reveal your battle plan. "I'd do nothing to you I wouldn't do to a PKer. So no hug-stabs, no shanking during the Black King fight... if I get carried away and knock out your Spire or something, Bash and rebuild it and increase his own ARC."]
  41. 04[00:20] <@vanishingPoint> ["So just the tactical stuff? Rigging my spire, that sort of thing?"]
  42. [00:20] <primordialSight> [You nod. "Among other things. I am a tactician."]
  43. 04[00:22] <@vanishingPoint> [You've got a sly grin on. "Alright. If you can get a single hit on me the rest of the session I will be seriously impressed."]
  44. [00:23] <primordialSight> [You brighten, and both your eyes and your grin take on a wicked bent. "Challenge accepted." and you almost laugh. A crook of your finger, and your entire deck vanishes in many golden sparkles of light, reforming into the full thing in your hand. "Watch your back, Em, 'cos I will." you poke your tongue out.]
  45. 04[00:25] <@vanishingPoint> [You shrug, unimpressed. "Not worried. And am I allowed to do anything back? Nothing lethal, of course."]
  46. [00:27] <primordialSight> [You bring yourself up short. "Would a PKer do that?" you ask, sounding a bit dubious, but not against the idea.]
  47. 04[00:28] <@vanishingPoint> ["Well if /I'm/ the PKer, yeah?" You give him a strange look.]
  48. [00:30] <primordialSight> [You blink. Oops. "Right. Yes... that's fine." and you're suddenly lost in thought, already considering the many traps and snares you would have to set up in order to defend yourself... you actually seem to relish the challenge.]
  49. 04[00:32] <@vanishingPoint> ["Like I said, nothing lethal. And unless we both agree that a space or time is off-limits, the challenge is on?" You've got a sly grin on.]
  50. [00:34] <primordialSight> [You peer at her, and activate your Sight - the sly grin is making you nervous. Your hand tightens on your deck, drawing the 8 of Air - Interference. "Yees." you reply, slowly, your grin matching her own.]
  51. 04[00:39] <@vanishingPoint> ["Oh, good. Is this one of them? Or should I let my future-selves shoot you now." Theres a distant 'paf' and the tile right at Nath's feet is splattered with paint.]
  52. [00:45] <primordialSight> [The moment your Sight activates, you notice the Emmara's in their vantage points, and Interference is down - you were expecting a trap, what with the sneaky grin on your co-player's face. Grey smoke billows out of the card in a blast, concealing the area, the paint ball vanishes into the cloud. Sadly, Intergration is still recharging, so you'll have to find another way out.]
  53. 04[00:45] <@vanishingPoint> ["Taking that as a no then?" Your call into the cloud.]
  54. [00:47] <primordialSight> [You don't reply, having spent your time clambering in through the window of the nearest building. The Breeze wipes the smoke away for you.]
  55. 04[00:50] <@vanishingPoint> [Good enough for you. You cast [Unravelling the Threads] and scry where Nath'll be in fifteen seconds. Theres the brief sound of an ocarina as you jump into the past. Making a leisurely stroll towards when and where you'll know he'll be.]
  56. 04[00:51] <@vanishingPoint> [Ready with a [Pause] as soon as he shows himself.]
  57. [00:54] <primordialSight> [Your Sight is still up, so you see Emmara vanish in a spiral of gears and roman numerals. Knowing you have only seconds - if that - you throw the Mother of Earth at your feet, creating a hole to fall down to the next floor...]
  58. [00:54] <primordialSight> [...And are immediately [Paused] by Em. Stupid Time players.]
  59. 04[00:55] <@vanishingPoint> [You walk over and tap his forehead. "Boop. You're dead." And then drop the [Pause].]
  60. [00:55] <primordialSight> [You give her an extremely dirty look.]
  61. 04[00:55] <@vanishingPoint> [You look extradordinarily pleased with yourself.]
  62. [00:56] <primordialSight> [You huff, but are unable to hide a grin at her expression. "Truce until we've both slept. Or... at least, I've slept. Time." you make a slight face.]
  63. 04[00:57] <@vanishingPoint> [You laugh. "Deal." You hug him.]
  64. [00:58] <primordialSight> [You hug her back, tightly, and hum lightly. "Thank you." you murmur, and tug away.]
  65. 04[00:59] <@vanishingPoint> [You let go. "You alright?" You ask, a little concerned.]
  66. [01:00] <primordialSight> [Your lips purse slightly. "I'm enjoying thinking of the ways to defend myself. I'm enjoying thinking of ways to knock you out. But... there'll be a time when it isn't just a game, and it's bothering me a little, is all."]
  67. 04[01:02] <@vanishingPoint> ["Ah, yeah." You don't know of anything you can say to make it better, so you opt for saying nothing.]
  68. [01:04] <primordialSight> [You nod, not expecting anything. You nudge your forehead against her shoulder. "But." you brighten, and step back a pace. "Unlike you, I've not got a whole lot of time. So I'd best go... do some things." you smirk, stretching slightly.]
  69. 04[01:07] <@vanishingPoint> ["Un huh. Good luck. It isn't going to happen." You smirk back. "Oh, and I'll see about another session meeting some time soon. And no, it won't be a trap."]
  70. [01:11] <primordialSight> [You nod. "Sure. Keep me informed." you grin, clasping your hands behind your back - and you step backwards, falling out the window, and landing lightly on the ground. You figure some clothes imbued with Space to let you teleport would be cool. You'll ask Bash once you've got a spare moment.]
  71. [01:11] <primordialSight> [You throw Em's face a wave, and another one in the direction of both her future selves, before heading out back to your Land.]
  72. 04[01:12] <@vanishingPoint> [You wave back. Gone in another song before he reachs the edge of the arena.]
