Prologue

I am the narrator. I don't really matter. You could probalbly understand the story better without me. But I don't care. This is my job. Live with it. The main character of the story is a boy named Chris. Remember his name is Chris. Not any other names it's just Chris. Chris remember that Chris. I am stressing the fact that his name is Chris because if you skip the Prologue you won't know who he is. So now people have to read the Prologue. And then they have to listen to me. So our fine lad Chris was a nerd. Not ugly nerdy just addicted to video games. But Chris had 1 special quality. He could change his eye color at will. To everything except pink. Why pink you ask?  Because pink is a girly color.  Anyway there is nothing more useful in this Prologue. So skip to the first chapter if you want to.  So you kept reading. Thank you. So have you ever started putting butter on toast with a knife and then realized it's not toast but a cucumber, it's not butter it's ice-cream, and it's not a knife it's a fork? If you didn't understand that, good. Now go eat a bug, look up "Mango" in the dictionary, and tattoo the 3rd letter in the definition of "Mango" (besides the word) to your forehead. If you didn't do that you will understand this book. If you did do that go see a shrink.

Chapter 1

Our story takes place as Chris leaves for school one day. Let's go watch. "Mom Chris is breathing!" "Mom Chris poked my back!" "Mom Chris is wolfing!" "Evan dear! Wolfing what?" "I don't know? I just like the word!" "Okay Mom I'm gonna miss the bus!". With super agility and strength Mom flings Chris out the window and he lands at his bus stop 10min. before the bus is supposed to get there. Astonished, Chris sees the bus is chopped in half and the front part remains. He is also ashonished to see the back of the front part is dragging on the ground to create sparks. Chris walks on the bus to see some 8th graders walking to the back of the bus and falling out and the bus driver muttering "Stupid budget cuts...". When Chris arrives at school he glances of to see another bus chopped in half delivering kids. "Ahem. This is future Chris from later on in the book. I would like to say that he didn't see a kid named David get off the bus. David was deaf (it means he can't hear for all you stupid 8th graders out there). David was also a nerd. Not ugly nerdy just addicted to video games. But he had 1 special quality. He could mimic any voice on the planet. How you ask? He's deaf you say! But he has hearing aids and is not completely deaf. Any way this boy and me have some pretty cool adventures... But you'll know that later won't you?" So Chris not seeing David walks into school as the principal (known also as the bucked-toothed, freaky, messed up, insane, wacko, person or wanawoo for  short) So wanawoo said something like the following "Ahem is this on *screeech* well is it??!! Somebody better tell me or the entire school gets detention!! Okay, okay, it is on thank you. Will Chris and David please come to the nurse for an underwear lice check?" (David has hearing aids on at this point). Chris walks down the gauntlet of laughs from his peers. When he arrives he notices another kid is already there. "Hi!" Chris pauses then says louder "Hi!!!!!" turning his eyes red as he does. The David mimics his "Hi!!!!!" back at him and then says "Sorry i'm deaf.". Then Chris confused says "Then how did you hear me?" David points at his hearing aids and says "Hearing aids.". Then Chris feeling embarrassed says "Boy I'm dumb." David replies "No, it's okay." Then the nurses voice says "Chris please come on in.". When you enter you see plastic gloves, sharp knifes, and shrunken heads in jars line the walls. The nurse laughs when she sees you staring and says "No they're just for people who have head-aches." The nurse pulls out some sleepy-drug and fires it at Chris's neck. When you awake you are in the nurse's office. She says "The lice check is done.". But you suspect she did something else...

Chapter 2

On your way back from the nurse you pass by the principles office. A note on the door says, "Gone fishing". So you enter. There are some files on the floor. You read one it says "Name:Chris
Date:8:16 AM
Super natural ability(s): Can change eye color at will, Can control minds"
What???!! Your brain races toward a solution. Nothing is there. I can control minds other than my own? "Weird." you think. This is what the nurse did. Then the door creaks open and people in yellow suits walk in and say "Chris, You're coming with us." Then you run around and dodge their missiles(slow-moving-ones). Then you see a file on the floor it jogs your memory. You walk up to one of them and say "You are under my power." Then he says "No." and slams his launcher into your chest. Your eye color goes beserk. The guy who hit you is still like a statue. Then you run out of there and happen to see David in a cage. You say "I'll get you out just wait". You run to the cafeteria. Then you grab some of the chili (in the pot still). You run back to him and pour the chili on the bars of his cage. They melt away in a metal pool of metal. He says "Thanks" and then a yellow-suit sees you. You run and run around school. And then you notice the power has gone out. You and David duck into a hallway. The guard says "Which way did they go?" David responds and says in another guard’s voice he must've saw "Towards the cafeteria" We open my locker to pick up supplies and see a black string coming. You see the power out of nowhere. So I pull it. Nothing happens because I couldn't budge it. We both pull it door opens at the back of my locker. We enter (it might be a good place to hide). We see wanawoo at a podium giving a speech to all the other teachers. she says "We will harness those two brats powers to take over the world!". David and me have a conference in a crack in the cave wall we found. "That's bad" "Very bad". "Maybe we could charge them" "They could call the yellow-suits" "We could sneak up on them" "That'll work" "Yeah". So you and David sneak up behind the podium. We push it over. "Darn!" says David. All the teachers look and stare. I put them in a temporary trance. "I'm drained." I say "Go get them outta here, I'm not going anywhere." David takes the teachers outside. Then we convert the cave into our base of operations. "We must stop the teachers!" says David. "I know!" I say, "But how?"

Chapter 3

So we go to the office to salvage supplies. We find David's file. It reads:

Date:2/3/09
Super natural ability(s):Can change shape, can mimic voices"
"What??" He exclaims as his mouth grows to 10 ft. across. "Yep, it's correct" I sputter. He says "Cool!" He changes into a tree. "Do I look like a tree?" he exclaims. "Yes" I sigh. "How can we stop the teachers now?" I ask. "We don't even know where they are!" he exclaims. "Yes we do." I say and smile. "I hacked their comps and it says they are going to try to lure us into a trap because we don't know how to use our powers." "They're in for a rude awakening." Says David and smiles a 10 ft. smile. "Where are we going anyway?" asks David. I respond "To Somerset, England." He also asks "How are we going to get there?". I respond by looking at him evilly. I say "Change into a boat"and I also say "Now.” So our favorite characters Chris and David are sailing to England. I say "Are you comfortable?" he says "No but it doesn't really matter.” When we arrived we noticed that the place was under tight guard. We decided to go in the back. Bad idea. There were two PE teachers guarding the entrance. David evidentially had a plan. He said "Throw a rock." and so I obeyed. He turned into a puddle and when the guards charged at me and were on the puddle he jumped up covered them and when he got off them they were wet and knocked-out. I said "Sick.". David asked "Why didn't you put them into a trance?" I reply "I blew all my power on the teachers back in Chapter 2.". "Oh." says David. So we walk inside. When we do fourteen World Studies teachers attack with textbooks and big maps. David turned into one of them ko'ed his clone and beat on the other ones behind their backs. I got pummeled and ko'ed one before David ko'ed the rest. He was fast. We continue to see wanawoo in a giant mech. We notice we are in an arena and the walls close down as cages. Then we see bleachers with hundreds upon thousands of teachers yelling "Cage match! Cage match!". David turns into a copy of the mech and says "I'll keep her busy! You find a weakness!" And so it begins. I ran around the base and could find nothing to push or pull to do any damage to the colossal hunk of metal. Then I had an idea. Mental warfare. I told David my plan and he agreed it might just work. He deformed from the mech into something that all teachers hate. An image of summer vacation. There was a beachchair with him connected to it and him drinking a soda that was attached to him. Then wanawoo screamed "Nooooooo!" and fired a missile right at David. When it hit he screamed "Arghhhhh!" When he reformed his right arm was completely blown off. He said "Ahhhhh." as his right arm grew back. Then wanawoo with this show of complete discustingness fainted on the self-destruct switch on her mech. And I said to David "Lets go get the others." and he said "What!!?? There are others!!??" I replied "Lets run!!! I'll explain when it doesn't look like we are going to get blown to bits!!!"

Chapter 4

"Run!!!!!!!!!!" I screech. We both listened to me and ran. We came to a room that had kids in suspended animation. David picked up a ruler and chucked it at one of the tubes. A kid fell out choking and gagging. I asked a few questions "Name" "Eric" Power(s) "Can speed up molecules""Cool" "Yeah" "So Eric," I said "how did they catch you if you can run so fast?" "They tripped Me.,” he said simply. "Oh lets break open these two other tubes." I suggested. So out popped two other kids Keith and Miles. Keith can make things explode and Miles can change his matter(e.g. stone,metal,brick,water,air,...) according to what he's touching. So then David turned into a motorboat and we were back off to America. So then as we were only about 1 mile from England this happened:"Whats that sound?" said Miles. "I don't know." I replied. Then, Eric was pointing with his mouth-hanging open at a steamboat with the Jolly-Roger flag waving in the night’s gentle breeze. "Oh mama!" I said as a cannonball came flying down through David and exploded. And then everything went black. Because Eric got scared and accelerated us into the pirate ship. So when I came to I was bound to the mast of the steamboat. Then I said "Wait steam-engines don't have masts!" then a pirate came over and whacked me and I was unconscious again. When I awoke (again) I saw that everybody but me was missing from the deck. I saw a single guard and made him untie me and say the answer to my question "Where are they?" then after he told me I said "Oh no." I ran to the mess hall but it was too late they were serving gruel to the pirates. I made myself invisible to everybody but them and walked up to Miles. Then Eric, Keith and David. We put plan "Escape now!"  into action. Miles touched the ship's floor and became steel. Eric grabbed him and ran around the room making Miles go 90 mph. Have you ever been hit by steel going 90 mph. good I didn't think so. Because it hurts. While Miles and Eric were disposing of the crew Keith was making their guns combust. David was keeping a lookout for the captain. I was watching it all laughing (hey don't say I didn't do anything. I made the plan remember.). So then the crew was all knocked out we placed them on a shelf made out of David. Miles was posed and steel. Eric was in position. Keith was ready and I was the new lookout because I burnt my power again. So I yelled "Captain ahoy!!" and then we all knew what to do. When the captain walked into the door I said "Bang." Then Miles rolled of the table and with Eric’s help pushed the captain off his feet. Then Keith combusted the captains gun causing the captain to catch on fire himself. Then as he got up to leave David removed his shelf and let the bodies’ fall pinning the captain to the ground. "Yes!!!" we all cheered as we got one of their motorboats (David was cheering the loudest). "Finally home." I sighed. But was I ever so wrong as peacefulness would not last forever.
Chapter 5

While time passed we as in Me, David, Keith, Miles, and Eric formed a secret base. We stopped crimes all over the globe. But one day sightings of aliens were sent in from all over the country. But then those reports stopped and new ones came in. They said we were robbing buildings and demolishing houses! So we went to investigate. When we arrived at the latest sighting we found traces of the ashes that would appear from Keith's combustion power. And we saw traces of Eric's speed in the ground. So then we were at the next sighting. "Halt!" I cried and then we all froze as people who look exactly like us came forward. "We are Sirhc,Divad,Htiek,Selim, and Cire." "We come from a dimension just like yours." "Except," he said and smiled "We are evil." Then they charged us. David and Divad were wound around each other. Sirhc and me were seeing who would be tranced first. It was I. I fell down as stiff as a board and couldn't move. David passed out from being squeezed so hard. Htiek and Keith were exploding things until Keith's hair exploded and he fell. Miles and Selim were both concrete until Selim climbed up a building and body-slammed Miles rendering him out. Eric and Cire were running around until Cire tripped Eric and he slid into a building and was covered by rubble. Then Sirhc said "We are done here." and stepped on my face and I passed out. When I awoke I saw everybody else was already awake. I said "How are we going to beat them?". Everybody else said "Lets go home first." And so we went. When we arrived Eric suggested "We could um... no." Then David had and idea. "What if we could combine ourselves to make a super fighter. Like Dragon Ball Z fusion technique." So everybody gave it a try. Everybody got on David and... We all became one whole person with all our powers and combined strength. The only problem was we could only hold it for 5 hrs. Erdachmike was our name when we were fused. "Let's go get em'." I said.

Chapter 6

 Before we left we brang a trainee with us to back us up. He was my little brother. Power:  Sonic Scream. So he came with us as a partner not fused with us. When we arrived our plan went into action. By the way, we were at the docks where the opposite us-es or whatever were going to steal a shipload of nukes. So first we ran up to Cire and did a cartwheel kick connecting with his jaw at light speed sent him and his jaw flying up into the air. He still hasn't fallen down or he has disintegrated before he hit the ground. Now I sent Evan to deal with Divad he screamed so Diviad couldn't keep a single form and kept changing until we threw him at Htiek and they both passed out. Selim was going toward a nuke to become a living one. We couldn't let that happen. So right before he reached the ship he had to climb over some barrels. Perfect. When he was on the barrels we made them explode sending Selim flying through the air into the Htiek/Divad pile. So now Srihc was running away. So we ran over and kicked him into a cell with padded walls in a nice building for insane people, the insane asylum. Then after we Erdachmike de-fused I realized something. If we have Evan in this dimension where is the Evan from their dimension? "Right here!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I heard a scream so loud it would've burst my eardrums unless David hadn't jumped in my ears. So then I realized. "David you are deaf." "You are the only one who can fight him." So David went and transformed into a giant lava beetle and flung himself onto of Nave. Then after he had suffocated Nave he said "Guys I am going to have to soul-out." Everybody had tears in their eyes and I broke the silence by saying "What in the world does that mean!!!!" They all replied "Don't curse!!!!!!" followed by "You will see." So David fell down and a semi-translucent thing floated out and flew straight into me. then I heard "Hi Chris!!!!!" in my head. "Whaaaa????" I yelled while everybody else was trying to figure out if I was having a heart attack or something. "Chris, I have come into your body. You have full usage of my powers. And we can switch control of your body." "Okay." I managed to stammer. "So lets switch control." I thought. "Okay." said David. And then the weirdest thing that had ever happened to me happened.

Chapter 7



It was a mix of being thrown and caught at the same time. When I came to my senses I was on my brain. I mean inside my brain. It had lush carpeting and stuff like that. I saw David on a console operating my body. I walked up to touch him on the shoulder, and then got zapped. I said “How come I can’t touch you?”. He replied “I don’t know.”. Meanwhile, circling our atmosphere were the parallel universe Earth’s ships. “Where are they…” sighed an armada captain. “I don’t know.” Replied another. “Send in the mechs.” “Should we really?” “Yes.” “Are you sure?” “Yes.” “Really, really sure?” “Fire the blasted things already!!!”. And through the sky came hurtling hunks of metal. Designed to kill. Designed to take no prisoners. Designed to give bad wedgies when provoked. Designed to be feared. Designed to well um… you probably don’t want to hear the next part anyway so I will stop now. When they landed Alien reports were coming from all over the globe. So we decided to investigate. I said to David “You are the jeep.” We only had to drive to New York to catch a mech. I screamed “Battle Stations!!”. The mech fired a barrage of missiles straight towards us. David was still in control at this point so he stretched to make a wall to block the missiles. Unfortunately, the missiles went through us and blew our friends behind us away. So it was I (with David in control) vs. a giant mech. The mech stepped on us. Owch. We were unconscious. When we awoke the town was destroyed. A minefield of tanks, choppers, and solders with bad wedgies moaning. “We need re-enforcement.” I said (David and me switched while we were unconscious). Our group replied “Yeah, we know.”. “Ok, let’s find us an ally.”.

Chapter 8
We went walking into the mountains on a lead that we could find an ally there. A giant ghostly form floated down and said “Begone!” I replied “Where are you!” “Show yourself!”. And we were all surprised to see a boy our age fall down and float just above the ground. “Hi!” he said. After him came a boy opened a hole in the ground and floated up like the first boy but with a purple aroua. We explained our situation to them and they said “We’ll join you on your quest if you can pass our trials” We answered “Sure, what are your names anyway?” “Rigel” “Lukas” “Cool, where do we start?” “Right here.” Upon saying that Lukas put his fingers to his head and pulled the ground under us apart  and said “Good luck, happy trails.”. I tried to answer but then realized we were being plunged into a dark and dank pit. Our heroes plunged on and on until Chris hit his head on a wall and went unconscious. When I awoke I was laying on something hard and… lumpy? It was Miles groaning and moaning. On the way down Miles tried to stop his decent by clinging to the walls. But, true to his nature, he had become the rock with all of it’s mass. Then I noticed something truly amazing; David was sitting rubbing his head all but 2 feet from me! “How, but, HOW!” “I don’t know, my head hurts”. Just then Lukas came down through a staircase next to myself. “Why’d you make us fall 30 stories if there was a staircase!” Lukas shrugged and said “For effect?”

Chapter 9
“This cave will neutralize your mutant powers, to test your real strengths.” “But Miles is…” I sputtered as I looked at him “is flesh, and you will have to use your birth-right powers!” “You mean I can only change my eye color?” “Exactly. By the way, you have 3 hours to get out of here before you are blown to smithereens, starting…now.” “What do we have to do!” “Get to the blast containment room at the end of this gauntlet. Good luck.” After that he quickly ran up the stairs and closed an iron-gate in front of it. “Let’s go!” We ran down a corridor and noticed, there wasn’t anything happening. “What’s that sound?” said miles. “It sounds like…footsteps.” We looked behind us and noticed a large swarm of troopers with shock-sticks were coming. “RUN FAST!” We came to a door that needed Identification with eyes and sound required. Keith turned around, shook his head slightly and said, “Bring it on.” The gruesome battle began and Keith using his birth quality was evidently strategic fighting. He was hopping around knocking heads and shattering spines while the others and me watched with our mouths open. “He’s pretty good.” “Yeah” “Ouch” “Yeah” “How can he… oh that looks painful.” Presently Keith walked up to us and said “That’s the last of them.” “Okay now David and me just mimic one of their voices and,” “No that’ll take too long”. Keith picks up an unconscious guard; pry’s his eye open a pushes his back to make him grunt. “Access approved.” We sprint into the next room to see what challenges await us. “Fools!” came a voice from a very small looking trooper like the ones we battled in the previous room. “You cannot defuse this bomb in the time allowed! You will perish!” “Does anyone know how to defuse a bomb?” “No” “Nope” “I do! I do!” “Who is going to defuse the bomb!” “I can! Let me do it!” “I wonder who should do it…” “Me!” “Keith, do you want to do it?” “No.” “Pick me!” “Miles? What about you? Do you want to do it?” Miles didn’t answer and started defusing the bomb. “Well, that’s a relief” Said Eric. “What do you mean?” I responded. “Well, I thought the beeping sound I heard was bad.” “BEEPING SOUND! BEEPING SOUND! Hey Miles, what does the beeping sound mean?” “It means defusing the bomb is impossible, why?” “Because Eric heard the beeping sound” “Oh crap.” BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! I closed my eyes and hit the explosion head on.
Chapter 10
I went flying up to the corner of the room where the ceiling meets the two walls. When I hit I noticed that my shirt was ripping as the explosion was contained in the room. “We… need… to… get… outta here.” I managed to say while walking through solid explosion. I saw Eric was closest to the door we entered to get into the hellpit. “Eric…open…door…to…room!” Eric got up, fell, tried again, and opened the door. The explosion went hurtling down the hallway and into the trooper that was taunting us about the bomb. “That…shows…him…” I managed to sputter before I passed out. When I came to I looked at my watch; it said 1:10. “GUYS! WE ONLY HAVE 1 HOUR AND 10 MINUTES BEFORE WE LOSE THE CHALLENGE AND THE EARTH IS DOOMED!
