  1. Nil continued on through the door and entered the massive hallway again. Humongous golden beams bent on the walls to form a sort of rib cage for the building. Rows and rows of silver servants stood in the halls like lifeless statues, each staring straight out into nothing. Heavy chandeliers with blue-white flames hanging from above gave the room an ominous lighting. Nil walked on, coming upon a balcony over looking an expansive meadow under a starlit sky. He leaned against the golden railing and looked out to the plain. There was nothing. Yellow grass blanketed the land and a few blue flowers stood up tall like bamboo. But nothing else. There were no rocks, no patches of sediment, no upliftings in the land, and no water. It continued on like this for as far as the eye could see. The sound of cheering and roaring rang into Nils ears. Nil headed back inside to investigate the commotion and find the source.

  3. The halls glinted with the blue flame, and the noises grew louder. As he strode through, paying close attention to the servants, Nil caught the scent of food. Something delicious was being prepared. The hall ended with the entrance to an open area lined with strange, twisted trees with pale bark. There were three door ways. One led to what appeared to be a banquet hall. The smell originated from there. Another led to another hall. And the last, another hall. But the sounds of battle were coming from there. Nil rushed through. Servings armed with slender spears guarded another path. Seemingly recognizing Nil, they lift their pole arms and granted him access to a structure the likes of which he had never seen before. It was a massive room with no ceiling. There were rows upon rows of seats, most were filled with people and creatures belonging to races Nil had never laid eyes on. Horned men with the visage of demons, women with the scales of dragons, and tiny people. Actual people. Nil had only seen servants here aside from the woman, supposedly named Guhree. Were these all captives as well? Didn’t seem like it. They were all cheering and directing their attention at the center of the room.
