  1. first thing to do: download priiloader
  2. http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Priiloader
  3. install this via homebrew immediately, then shut off your console
  4. then hold down reset, and press power on (keep holding reset until you see the priiloader menu boot... if this happens you did it right, if system menu loads instead then something went wrong)
  5.
  6. next thing to do: download anyregion changer, but don't get the one from wiibrew
  7. use this one instead: http://www.mediafire.com/file/wmzmwuw32jg5lc0/MKWVincent%27s+Any+Region+Changer.zip
  8.
  9. go to homebrew and load anyregion changer
  10.
  11. if it doesnt load because of an opentitlecontent error, read this http://wiibrew.org/wiki/AnyRegion_Changer#Common_errors_on_System_Menu_3.4_or_newer
  12.
  13. i used ios236 to do the install
  14.
  15. scroll down to where system menu options are
  16. change it to Europe, and then go to where it says "Set&Save" right under that, and press A
  17. then install system menu
  18. it'll be warning you about incongruence between your system menu and your region, and asking you to confirm to save
  19. make sure your wii is connected to the internet and go through the system menu reinstallation process
  20. when it asks you to install EULA and other stuff i just said no (default), i have no idea what these are
  21.
  22. once done, you should see that all of your other settings in anyregion changer have been changed to EU, so you can reboot your wii
  23.
  24. priiloader should always always load if you hold reset+power even if your system menu is bricked, but this time you want to go into your system menu
  25.
  26. at this point your tv might be doing weird shit because of 50 Hz, so i opened vision
  27. it would say "no signal" most of the time but occasionally show the screen clearly
  28. go into your wii settings > screen > TV type > 60 Hz > save, the weird shit should stop
  29.
  30. download priiloader hacks zip file
  31. http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Preloader/Priiloader/hacks#Pre-Compiled_Hacks_download
  32. take hacks_hash.ini (im using 4.1 because that's the system menu that installs from arc) and put it in /apps/priiloader on your SD card
  33.
  34. boot up priiloader, go to the hacks area, and enable the stuff that ignores region
