  1. Anon returned to the hole the following morning and had found that the ooze that sat there previously had disappeared. Not even any residual goop remained. Well, there's no surprise here, Anon thought as he sauntered down the road to the high school. The day passed with little event, aside from the math teacher scolding Anon for nearly falling asleep in class, and some complaining from one of his friends after he'd declined to grab some pizza that afternoon with him.
  2. “Lemme guess: you gonna meet up with your chick?”
  3. “Ehm, yeah, I guess...?” Anon said.
  4. “Oooo-kay.” His friend replied. “When're ya gonna get busy?” he teased. Anon ignored him.
  5. ---
  6. Miss Grimwood sat at her desk impatiently. It had been thirty minutes now, and Sibella still hadn't shown up with her report which was due that day. This too annoyed Elsa, who was the most studious pupil at the school and didn't like to see a test unfinished. That, and she would never allow her friends to slip up and fail. Therefore, she took it upon herself to retrieve Sibella. As she approached the door to her room, Elsa heard something peculiar: music. It was well known to all that Sibella's room was for the most part quiet, usually on account of her studying. But now that music was playing noticeably loud in there, it was like going to the symphony hall for Elsa. With as loud as a knock as she could give without splitting the door, Elsa called out “Sibella? Miss Grimwood is waiting for your report!”
  7. The only response she got was “I can show you the world in a different light...” Sibella was singing along to whatever was playing in there. Elsa rapped on the door louder. “Hallo?” Sibella? Your repor—'was'?”
  8. A piece of parchment was slipped under the door. Elsa picked it up, and saw that it was her fully completed report, along with a note describing A: how much she would appreciate it if she delivered the paper for her, and B: to refer Anon to her room once he came around. At this, Elsa sighed. “He's going to be in for it,” she mumbled to herself.
