Overpowered

Link grabbed the handle and gathered strength into his arm to open it. The door was only opened a sliver of the way before something dashed out. Link skipped backwards in surprise to find that it was an enormous pair of pincers They were metallic and screeched loudly with each scrape. Anything caught in-between them, be it a boulder or otherwise, would be sheared in two.

"What is that?!" Link shouted.

The door flung open to reveal the main body attached to the blades. It had four such blades connected to it, and it was a massive plant that resembled a cactus. Numerous sharp spikes shot out of its body. Those pincer-like buds acted as its mouths. The tongues inside of them flailed about like flames licking at the air.

Link stood and removed his bag. He grabbed a bomb and lit its fuse.

"Out of our way, monster!"

He tossed the lit bomb, and it rolled just underneath the body of the beast.

"Fanny! You'd better hide!"

Both Link and Fanny dove into the nearby room for safety. There was a moment of silence before a large, labyrinth-shaking blast went off. The blast send a cloud of smoke shooting into the room, which Link and Fanny shielded their eyes from. Link then made his way back into the previous room.

The monster wasn't as strong as its appearance would suggest. That single bomb reduced it to pieces that were now clinging to the ceiling and walls. Streaks of blue blood were left where those chunks slid down and off the ceiling and walls. The pincers that were once attached to the monster were now on the ground, unmoving. A laughable sight if ever there was one.
