aaronfranke + moths commission for BedsheetWalking

The idea is to have my Avali character with an arm held out horizontally, and on the arm are perched a bunch of moth characters. After showing art of my character to my friends, 3 of them wanted to have characters, and all 3 chose to be moths (1 of them literally goes by MotH on Discord so that one is not suprising).


Character List and Information

aaronfranke (character name "Aaron")
* Species: Avali
* Gender: Male (canonically, this image will be SFW)
* Height: 95cm
* Longer-than-average ears, neck, arms, and arm feathers for an Avali, just like before.
* Inside of mouth color (for when the character is smiling): Purple. I'm unsure of the exact color tone. My main inspiration is Ralena's mouth since the purple goes well on that character, and you can also take inspiration from my profile picture's background color since I think it would be a fun coincidence to have those colors be the same.

LillyByte (character name "Luni")
* Species: Moth
* Gender: Female (canonically, this image will be SFW, but also increase the chest fluff size to indicate there are breasts underneath somewhere but they would be covered by fluff so they're not directly visible, also Luni should be "kinda hot")
* Height: 9cm (she wanted to be the biggest)
* 4 arms, 2 legs
* Front of wing colors: Rainbow colored wings. See the first reference image for inspiration, the rainbow does not have to be copied exactly or anything.
* Back of wing colors: Black, with some purple and white spots/speckles. See the second reference image for inspiration.
* Body colors: Black and purple, no specific ideas on the pattern, but it'll be a mix of these two colors.
* The idea of the colors is that from the front with wings open it looks pretty and rainbowy and colorful, but when viewed from the back or viewed with the wings closed the color is hidden and it looks mostly black with some purple coloring and some purple/white speckles.
* Eye color: Purple glowing eyes. See the third image for inspiration.

Zylann (character name "Zylann")
* Species: Moth
* Gender: Male (canonically, this image will be SFW)
* Height: 7cm
* 4 arms, 2 legs
* Eye color: Yellowish-Green glowing eyes. See hex code aaff55
* Front of wing colors: Rainbow colored wings. See the first reference image for inspiration, the rainbow does not have to be copied exactly or anything.
* Back of wing colors: Mostly black with darkish-yellowish-green stripes/bands. The bands would be the same hue as aaff55 but probably darker, we're not sure how dark.
* Body colors: Mostly black with darkish-yellowish-green stripes/bands. The bands would be the same hue as aaff55 but probably darker, we're not sure how dark.
* Black head fluff, darkish-yellowish-green neck fluff.
* Unlike the other characters with just fluff on the head there should be well-defined hair, which is also darkish-yellowish-green colored. See the third image for reference for what the hair could look like.

MotH (character name "MotH", yeah it's kinda confusing, MotH the moth)
* Species: Rosy Maple Moth
* Gender: Male (canonically, this image will be SFW)
* Height: 5cm (the species of rosy maple moth maxes out at 5cm and MotH should be the smallest of the 3 moth characters)
* 4 arms, 2 legs. He told me 10 arms initially but we have a feeling this would look silly. If you're feeling adventurous you can experiment with 6 arms instead of 4 arms and if it looks good then we'd rather do that. MotH likes arms.
* Colors: Yellow and pink, like vanilla and strawberry ice cream.
* Eye color: Pink glowing eyes.
* Yellow head, pink neck fluff, see the first reference image.
* Yellow and pink wings. This one does not have black/rainbow wings like the other two.
* Not sure about the pattern for the rest of the body, use the images for inspiration.

Commission Information

The idea is to have my Avali character with the arm held out horizontally, and on the arm are perched a bunch of moth characters. My Avali character should be looking at the moths and smiling wide and open a little (this is why I mentioned an inside mouth color). The moths should be looking at my Avali character, Zylann & MotH should be smiling, Luni should be "brooding, facetiously brooding, sorta like a cat that wants pets but doesn't want to be petted" (her words). Since we want to give focus to the moths and not just have them be tiny, the image shouldn't feature my Avali character's full body, I think just the upper body, so the Avali's legs, tail, and maybe waist would not be showing.

This image will also serve as a character design reference for all of the moth characters so I'd like to fit in a view of both the front and back of the wings. This might be hard to do but here's some specific ideas of how to do it.
* The characters would be mostly facing the camera, but perhaps they would not be directly facing it and it's more of a 3/4 view, so if the wings aren't perfectly straight then we could get a view of the back.
* Aside from rotating the characters on the arm another way to get a non-straight view is to rotate the arm a bit.

* Idk, it's a hard challenge, I think whatever you can come up with to show some of both sides of the wings is good. But Lilly does want her character with one wing as a partial cloak as described in the above point, so definitely do this part.

None of the characters would have clothing. I would be paying for all of this. Don't be afraid to make the characters fluffy.
