  1. Name: Liskar’Ga
  2. Gender: Female (She/Her/Hers)
  3. Species: Sarka
  4.
  5. Appearance: Liskar’Ga is a small, unimpressive and scarred mess of a Sarka. A mere 8 feet tall at the shoulder, her scales are an unremarkable charcoal gray devoid of any shine or luster. Her body is stocky in build with wide, durable hips, but the bones of her right rear leg are twisted from damage that was badly healed. Liskar’Ga’s tail, once long and whiplike, has been cut short; gone is the neurotoxic barb which once added to her suite of deadly combat abilities. Her front-left limb is missing two of the three massive talons which once grew there; in their place are empty sockets. Liskar’Ga’s face, long and slender and once considered attractive to other Sarka, is now broken up by ugly claw-scars and sunken pits, and her upper jaw is missing a large piece due to an old wound. The expansive hole there is surrounded by gray-fleshed scarring, and missing teeth can be seen through the open space. Her breathing and speaking is accompanied by a slight whistle or wheeze because of the damage to her mouth, and her movement is hindered by her right rear leg and missing talons. Even with the scarring and wounds, it is clear to anyone familiar with Sarka that she is a late adolescent, perhaps ninety years old. Any remnants of her former Mark have long since faded, so there is no visual clue that she was once Marked, and is now a De-Marked.

  7. Personality: Liskar’Ga, outwardly, is a patient and careful creature. These attributes stem from the cunning often exemplified by followers of Lithmor; where once she employed her cleverness to hunt and fight, now she has turned it toward less violent or manipulative character traits. Her outward patience belies the trauma of her past, which still deeply affects her. She was raised in violence, living among the Marked Sarka serving Lithmor, and this life ended in betrayal and terrible violence when she was cast out and left for dead. She then lived for many months on her own, recovering painfully and slowly, rebuilding her body and surviving without the tools she had had for decades. Liskar’Ga still feels, and struggles with, dark and carnal desires; the urges of the Sarka still burn within her as they always did, smoldering under her denial and flimsy control. She has mixed feelings about the roles females serve in typical Sarka society, and about Sarka mating practices. She also struggles with the idea of subservience to any deity, and currently worships no Gods.

  9. Abilities: Liskar’Ga’s abilities have all but evaporated since she was De-Marked and violently banished from the Fire Flight of Lithmor and her fellow Sarka. As a result, the Liskar’Ga of today is awkward and ungainly compared to the typical Sarka hunter. She remembers how to hunt, and in fact was a gruesomely effective warrior and stalker of prey in her youth. In those decades, she would savor the chase and the kill and the feast in a way that honored gluttonous Lithmor and the Fire Flight. Sadly, the loss of parts of her body and the scarred-over damage have ruined her mobility and her sense of balance. She can fly, but only decently, and she can fight, but only poorly. The supernatural cry of the Sarka has faded from her, and she is unable to cause any harm with her voice. Her tail was severed, so she is without the glands and the barbed tail which produce and deliver the infamous Sarka venom. Any magical powers granted to her by her Mark are unreachable now.

  11. With all that has been cast aside or brutally stripped from her, one is left to wonder what abilities Liskar’Ga does have. With her body broken, the Sarka female has been developing her mind instead, attempting to learn and build skills and knowledges to support her community. Liskar’Ga has joined a small and still-developing enclave of Sarka independents who have rebelled against service to the Dark Five. To help this group, she has begun to engage in all kinds of activities completely foreign to a common Sarka such as writing, construction, livestock-keeping and farming, and community-building.

  13. OOC Opportunities: Liskar’Ga is written to be a member of an Enclave of Sarka player group, which has turned away from service to the Dark Five in rebellion. She is a poor combatant, but she’s not entirely incapable in matters of fighting or hunting or flying. She’s not evil any more, but she’s not entirely pure-hearted either. If your character is interested and willing to teach a reformed Sarka a useful skill of any kind, I think that could be a great thread! Or if you’re interested in a story where your good-aligned character spots her and hunts her down, only to realize she is reformed, that could be neat. She might very carefully visit a village to negotiate for items or knowledge or books, or approach a campsite because she’s starving and unable to hunt. Let me know if you’re interested in teaming up on a BTACD writing project!
