A Kohari is known for their extremely tall and heavily built frames along with the fact that their bones actually extend through and pierce their red skin at many points with each one being unique to each individual Kohari. Many layers of tattoos dot their skin and the most revered Kohari actually get tattoos on the bones that poke through their skin. They are a byproduct of some mysterious forerunner's genetic tampering and it is thought that they were originally some kind of amphibian that barely stood at one foot tall. This can be easily traced throughout the Kohari as truth for the fact that a good amount can be found growing scales while some seem to have gills. The Kohari deny the existance of these useless organs and strange skins, several billions of credits are spent on removing these liesevery year on the Kohari homeworld.

The warlike nature of their empire has brought them no allies among the galactic stage but they have been relatively content for last 10,000 years with no advancements being made. It is spoken that they are preparing for a new grand war as the other races grow fearful of their might. Their culture is highly competitive and places a great deal of emphasis on competitive sports and games. Most individuals play some form of sport, whether it is a physical game or an intellectual game. Contact sports are extremely popular, as are games of strategy, with their leaders being selected by way of a sporting tournament. In order to win a position in the government, players must prove themselves in a variety of different sports, including both physical and mental challenges with only the best being chosen from the contenders.
