  9.
  10. Email sent
  11. Instructions have been emailed to: xxxxx
  12. If the email doesn't arrive in a few minutes, your ISP may be blocking it as spam. In this case please contact your ISP and ask them to not block email from [email protected].
  13.
  14. # the e mail doesn't ever arrive from: [email protected].
  15. # I have contacted my ISP and here's their respose: /
  16.
  17. The messages from the domain WEBSITE.net are not being denied explicitly but are failing to meet the technical requirements for an SMTP transmission, specifically:
  18.
  19. - Rejected HELO/EHLO must contain FQDN
  20.
  21. This means the the message announced itself with a HELO or EHLO command without a Fully Qualified Domain Name but something generally unidentifiable, possibly hostname alone.
  22.
  23. Also of note, the source email address is not [email protected] but rather [email protected].
  24.
  25. If the SMTP mail transport agent is configured to correctly identify itself to the recipient SMTP mail transport agent the email message will be accepted and delivered accordingly.

  33. Hello REMOVED,
  34.
  35. Thank you for taking the time to contact us.
  36.
  37. We send out email out through SendGrid which lets us send our email more securely and prevent spam. One of the mechanisms that it provides is that it blocks email from going out if SendGrid determines that sending an email to a specific email address is likely to be interpreted as sending spam. You can read about that process here: https://sendgrid.com/docs/glossary/drops/ if you are interested.
  38.
  39. Your email address was identified as one that would be "Dropped" by SendGrid. SendGrid keeps their algorithm for determining what goes onto the Dropped list confidential, so we do not know beyond the explanation at the link above why your email address was added to the list.
  40.
  41. We've removed your email address from the drop list manually, and cleared your status on our servers. You should be able to receive emails from us again. Please let us know if you stop receiving emails from us again.
  42.
  43. Thanks for letting us know and we apologize for the hassle!
