- - Samus is artificially sped up to make it appear that the game is running as fast as NTSC. Jump height is also increased (whether intentionally or not), which is why there are PAL-specific low% categories.
- - Doors open much slower, so you'll need to add a delay to avoid constant bonking, especially in Ceres.
- - The lava rises way too fast to roll across the floor in Rising Tide.
- - You need to jump into the air before the diagonal spark at Mt. Everest or you'll crash into the wall.
- - The shinespark timer does not last as long, making tricks like Full Halfie and Lava Spark much more difficult.
- - Phantoon patterns are altered. Phantoon will move around the room longer for each pattern.
- - Botwoon will emerge much sooner than NTSC, while Draygon will take much longer to appear.
- - The charge timer is unaltered, meaning a shot will still take 60 frames to charge even though the framerate is reduced to 50.
- - Enemies end up in different positions in Terminator.
- - Minimal power bomb lag.
- - The nova/sova in HJ E-tank room is fast, Ridley is slow (and big boi too)
- - Ridley pogos higher and you can misfire supers when they vanish before colliding
- - Doors are more resistant to opening (like, from a speed plasma shot, see landing site)
- - Item fanfares still take 399 frames
- - Damage boosts are overpowered (see pre-Kraid room)
- - Air ball handling is really bad, last jump of counter-clockwise baby skip doesn't work
