- now old-fashioned political connections
- 0:04
- forged in Manhattan boardrooms in sweet
- 0:07
- Silicon Valley office spaces also helped
- 0:10
- eels tease ascension in Trump's orbit
- 0:12
- his initial connection to Trump came
- 0:15
- through the president's son-in-law Jared
- 0:17
- Kushner Pele is a longtime investor in
- 0:20
- the healthcare startup founded by
- 0:22
- Kushner's brother Josh and teal and
- 0:24
- Jared Kushner had extensive
- 0:27
- conversations in the spring of 2016
- 0:29
- about whether he would become a delegate
- 0:31
- for Trump in California's Republican
- 0:33
- primary so from here we're going to take
- 0:40
- a look at another news article where we
- 0:44
- find out about Palantir technologies
- 0:48
- this is a news article from Silicon
- 0:54
- Valley Business Journal about Kushner
- 0:58
- family owns piece of Valley startup at
- 0:59
- trump trump tech Kanab volunteer
- 1:03
- Technologies Inc the Palo Alto analytics
- 1:06
- unicorn co-founded by Peter teal
- 1:08
- apparently wasn't the only
- 1:09
- venture-backed company at the White
- 1:10
- House tech roundtable organized last
- 1:13
- month by President Donald Trump's
- 1:15
- son-in-law Jared Kushner The Wall Street
- 1:17
- Journal reported on Friday that OpenGov
- 1:20
- Inc a Redwood City startup whose CEO had
- 1:23
- a prominent seat between the CEOs of
- 1:25
- Akamai and VMware is part-owned by
- 1:28
- thrive capital a venture firm run by
- 1:31
- Jared Kushner's brother Joshua so Joshua
- 1:35
- runs a thrive capital that invests in
- 1:38
- this hair health care so there's Josh
- 1:41
- and teal connected again and here's Josh
- 1:44
- and teal connected again through open
- 1:47
- gov comm and so now we're going to take
- 1:50
- a look at open dub open gov comm and see
- 1:56
- that it's a system for managing
- 2:00
- government budgets and operational
- 2:04
- intelligence and open data artificial
- 2:08
- intelligence
- 2:11
- so it connects everyone allows them to
- 2:14
- plan and do things so right now there's
- 2:24
- 1500 plus governments across the country
- 2:27
- using this system and the smart
- 2:29
- government cloud and ten trillion
- 2:31
- dollars in total value of expenses and
- 2:34
- revenues analyzed on the open gov
- 2:36
- platform so you see these aren't exactly
- 2:41
- small businesses let's look at some of
- 2:46
- their customers New Mexico Utah Oakland
- 2:59
- Park Lawrence Kansas Cupertino
- 3:02
- California Texas
- 3:12
- Diamond Bar California Washington City
- 3:16
- Utah look at all their customers
- 3:27
- Wisconsin Texas California Cal Poly
- 3:32
- state Wyoming Texas and Sunita's
- 3:38
- California and I mean you can go on
- 3:42
- there's like 1500 of them they service
- 3:48
- county higher education state so the
- 3:54
- talent tier system is taking care of
- 3:56
- your federal level and your law
- 3:58
- enforcement agencies and it looks like
- 4:00
- OpenGov is taking care of your local
- 4:02
- government offices so let's go look at
- 4:06
- thrive investments our ventures and see
- 4:09
- what other stuff they're involved in
- 4:11
- investing in so here's a crunch base for
- 4:16
- thrive capital you can see that they've
- 4:19
- invested all this money in these
- 4:21
- companies 50 million 64 million 70
- 4:24
- million 10.5 million 65 million OpenGov
- 4:29
- they gave 30 million to a hundred and
- 4:34
- ten million here slack for anyone who
- 4:40
- knows what slack is it's like the
- 4:42
- enterprise business chat program they
- 4:45
- funded them with 200 million dollars and
- 4:50
- then the least list keeps going on
- 4:52
- patreon thirty million dollars github
- 4:59
- where every programmer in the world and
- 5:01
- company pretty much stores all their
- 5:05
- open source source code you know every
- 5:08
- programmer in the world knows that
- 5:10
- github is right they gave them 250
- 5:13
- million dollars
- 5:23
- patreon there's a another 15 million so
- 5:27
- they're racking up forty million forty
- 5:30
- five million dollars OpenGov another 15
- 5:34
- million in 2014
- 5:38
- artsy
- 5:53
- so you see we go down the list there's a
- 5:56
- lot of companies that they're investing
- 5:58
- a lot of money in all the way down to
- 6:01
- Kickstarter where they gave them a ten
- 6:04
- million dollar venture to start
- 6:05
- Kickstarter Kickstarter patreon PayPal
- 6:15
- github you name it these people are
- 6:20
- funding it so now we're going to go look
- 6:25
- at the funding that Palantir received
- 6:28
- when it first started because it
- 6:32
- received quite a bit of money and the
- 6:34
- one that I'm going to focus on is the
- 6:38
- Casa nan as CNL private equity and so
- 6:44
- when you click on them you actually
- 6:49
- first before we do that because they're
- 6:50
- a big one we're going to start with gsv
- 6:52
- ventures secondary market before we go
- 6:55
- to the Khazana and so gsv is another
- 7:00
- investor they have invested in companies
- 7:07
- such as snap Inc which they gave 1.8
- 7:11
- billion to Spotify 526 million lift a
- 7:19
- hundred and fifty million Pinterest 186
- 7:24
- million Alibaba they gave a hundred
- 7:28
- million Dropbox 350 million Palantir 4.0
- 7:37
- eight million and Twitter in 2011 they
- 7:43
- gave Twitter
- 7:44
- four hundred million dollars so without
- 7:47
- these people none of our technology in
- 7:49
- the world would exist not github not
- 7:51
- Twitter not patreon not Kickstarter not
- 7:55
- PayPal not anything so we're going to go
- 7:59
- back to the the causes on on that CML
- 8:06
- however you say it and that is a
- 8:10
- Malaysian government fund that funds
- 8:14
- tech stuff for some reason and so you'll
- 8:18
- see in Palantir that this Kazin on s now
- 8:23
- gave eight hundred and seventy nine
- 8:24
- point eight three million in private
- 8:27
- equity
- 8:28
- probably in conjunction with other
- 8:30
- investors but that was the total private
- 8:32
- equity in 2015 that palantír received
- 8:35
- was eight hundred and seventy nine point
- 8:37
- eight three million dollars and then we
- 8:40
- go down the list to Alibaba you know the
- 8:46
- big site in China you know Chinese
- 8:48
- hackers you know Alibaba I think it's in
- 8:54
- China
- 8:55
- we'll go look they gave in 2012 they
- 8:58
- gave Alibaba two billion dollars so
- 9:03
- let's go look at their website at Cod
- 9:05
- Zhanna nationale and we can see that
- 9:11
- it's an English site where about them it
- 9:14
- says we are the strategic investment
- 9:16
- fund of the government of Malaysia to
- 9:19
- get a general overview of how khazana
- 9:21
- and it's in the ski companies build true
- 9:24
- value view our corporate video above
- 9:27
- which is also available in Malaysia so
- 9:32
- what we're learning now is Palantir was
- 9:34
- funded not only by the CIA but it was
- 9:37
- also funded by the Malaysian government
- 9:39
- so our government the CIA FBI NSA and
- 9:45
- everyone else is using this law
- 9:48
- enforcement system you're using a system
- 9:50
- that was paid for by the Malaysian
- 9:52
- government and the CIA so then what we
- 9:58
- wanted to do is that I went to search to
- 10:01
- find connections between Malaysia and
- 10:03
- Palantir in the news and I found this
- 10:06
- guy Yosef Taba or however you say his
- 10:10
- name he's involved with a big giant
- 10:14
- global
- 10:21
- billion-dollar embezzlement thing and
- 10:25
- he's also the United States ambassador
- 10:28
- to the United Arab Emirates and he's
- 10:32
- involved in this 1mdb banking thing and
- 10:38
- so I found this it's all about them
- 10:41
- using their money email release but when
- 10:44
- we go to search for Palantir we find
- 10:47
- that Joseph al ot Abba or however you
- 10:52
- say his name is a longtime diplomat ot
- 10:54
- ABBA is also a very wealthy man with a
- 10:56
- considerable stake in US tech firm
- 10:58
- Palantir for example he managed his
- 11:01
- money out of Dubai at least in part by
- 11:04
- former credit Swiss banker toward a
- 11:06
- dependent asset manager Tobias sister so
- 11:12
- let's go to Yusuf's
- 11:14
- al ot Abbas Wikipedia page where it says
- 11:17
- that he's the ambassador to the United
- 11:22
- States and an investor in Palantir and
- 11:29
- went to school in the US and he went to
- 11:34
- Georgetown University after graduating
- 11:37
- from Cairo American College the
- 11:39
- Ambassador was also an international
- 11:40
- fellow at the industrial College of the
- 11:42
- Armed Forces at the National Defense
- 11:44
- University in Washington DC so he was a
- 11:49
- part of a hack on global leaks and it
- 11:54
- involves the Malaysian government
- 11:58
- investment fund there's two of them
- 12:00
- there's the one MV MDB and then there's
- 12:03
- this one that we looked at which are
- 12:06
- both managed by the same guy the Prime
- 12:08
- Minister of Malaysia so you can see even
- 12:13
- the Washington Wall Street Journal is
- 12:16
- talking about the Malaysia controversy
- 12:18
- 1mdb ad assets from Leonardo DiCaprio
- 12:23
- are being looked at
- 12:26
- because what MDB funded the wolf of
- 12:30
- wallstreet us lawsuit links 2.2 billion
- 12:38
- dollar deal to malaysian 1mdb scandal so
- 12:43
- you see now we've gone from chat box and
- 12:46
- thinking I was crazy to now all these
- 12:49
- patterns are leading us to a global
- 12:52
- banking scandal out of Malaysia that was
- 12:56
- the same government that funded Alibaba
- 12:59
- the Chinese super global trade starts
- 13:07
- here at Alibaba
- 13:08
- and they funded Twitter they funded in
- 13:11
- you know Instagram that funded PayPal
- 13:14
- they funded patreon they funded
- 13:18
- kickstarter and ali everything around
- 13:22
- the world so that's our video for this
- 13:30
- morning as you can see you know I really
- 13:35
- appreciate your support you know when
- 13:37
- you're living in a tent at a campsite
- 13:39
- and you're researching billion dollar
- 13:42
- investment funds and systems that can
- 13:44
- predict the future it's obviously very
- 13:47
- helpful to get support from the
- 13:49
- community because if I tried to do this
- 13:51
- in the normal way obviously you can see
- 13:53
- now that I would have to deal with the
- 13:54
- people I'm researching so if you'd like
- 13:57
- to support my research the links to my
- 14:01
- paypal and patreon are in the
- 14:03
- description and I hope you have
- 14:06
- wonderful day and I'll be making another
- 14:08
- research video today where I'm going to
- 14:10
- go through some of these venture funds
- 14:12
- and look at more of the companies
- 14:14
- they're funding and find more
- 14:16
- connections to outside government
- 14:19
- investment in volunteer because I
- 14:22
- personally think it's a problem when
- 14:24
- you're a government and you're using a
- 14:26
- system to track and monitor things that
- 14:30
- was funded by an outside government I
- 14:32
- personally see that as a conflict of
- 14:35
- interest and think it needs to be
- 14:37
- explored especially when it
- 14:39
- the same investment fund that funds
- 14:41
- operations in China and that would lead
- 14:46
- me to believe that they are well aware
- 14:49
- of the Chinese hackers if they're
- 14:51
- funding the largest calm in China as
- 14:54
- well as funding the largest human
- 14:57
- tracking system in the world to me these
- 15:01
- seems like really big problems and you
- 15:03
- know I really could use some support so
- 15:06
- like I said the links to provide support
- 15:08
- are in the description next video is
- 15:11
- going to be starting to analyze their
- 15:13
- investments the amount of their
- 15:14
- investments and the total capital size
- 15:17
- of their portfolios and how all these
- 15:21
- companies link together and we're
- 15:24
- getting to a point where I really do
- 15:26
- need a lab because I have to start
- 15:27
- running big data on this stuff to
- 15:29
- connect these people and it's a 24 hour
- 15:31
- a day job coming up and to me a lab is
- 15:36
- pretty much right now I'm looking for a
- 15:38
- weekly motel room that I can convert
- 15:40
- into a lab for now so I can pretty much
- 15:42
- get started and that right now is just
- 15:45
- very little so any help you could
- 15:49
- provide would be greatly appreciated
- 15:51
- I'd really like to continue this Avenue
- 15:52
- of research like I said have a great day
