- GENERAL COMMENTS
- => Avoid mulligans. I mulligan almost never, every card counts when your gameplan is to trade 1-for-1 and also grow your lands for Obosh. Oftentimes, mulligan means you give up "two cards" because it's usually a land and thus you won't get to Obosh or Den. Mulligan is a serious cost!
- => Kumano is the card with the most text by virtue of being a creature with Suspend while also being a Saga, this is the card with the most options/tricks in the deck. A rule of thumb, always lead with Kumano: this plays around removal while also growing your next play while ALSO being a creature with Suspend (so the earlier it's online, the better)
- => Upkeep Play with Fire is sometimes needed to find a land
- ===========
- BR Midrange
- ===========
- -2 Wild Slash
- -1 Play with Fire
- -1 Goblin Chainwhirler
- +4 Rampaging Ferocidon
- COMMENTS:
- => Avoid playing too hard into their curve
- => Dodge t2 Stomp if possible and t1 Kumano is particularly good at dodging t1 Fatal Push
- => Save Skewer for Graveyard Trespasser
- => Always attack into Sheoldred with your 3-drops, they will never block in fear of blowout (particularly true with Chainwhirler)
- => Chandra Dressed to Kill looks alluring on paper, but I think she's mid vs BR Midrange since they play a lot of threats and thus is a bit slow for this matchup (we're usually racing Trespasser and Sheoldred, which Chandra doesn't help with)

- Mono G Devotion
- ===============
- -3 Bonecrusher Giant
- +3 Kari Zev's Expertise
- COMMENTS:
- => Always kill the t1 Elf, even if you have Chainwhirler in your opener
- => Kumano makes Old Growth Troll a lot worse (but killing it is necessary to progress)

- -4 Skewer the Critics
- -2 Wild Slash
- -1 Goblin Chainwhirler
- +3 Chandra, Dressed to Kill
- +4 Rampaging Ferocidon
- COMMENTS:
- => The lands are really good in the endgame, use your earlygame to get in as much as possible without overextending into Supreme Verdict

- COMMENTS:
- => Goldfish kill, they will not interact with you

- -4 Kumano Faces Kakkazan
- +4 Rending Volley
- COMMENTS:
- => Deploy a creature/Kumano t1, then the rest of the game should be about board control while chipping
- => Always decline when the opponent asks you to concede

- Spirits (all variants)

- -4 Phoenix Chick
- +4 Rending Volley
- COMMENTS:
- => Deploy a creature/Kumano t1, then the rest of the game should be about board control while chipping

- -4 Kumano Faces Kakkazan
- +4 Rending Volley
- COMMENTS:
- => Deploy a creature/Kumano t1 (unless they played a creature t1, in that case just kill it before they have protection up), then the rest of the game should be about board control while chipping
- ================
- Abzan Greasefang
- ================
- -4 Bonecrusher Giant
- +4 Rending Volley
- COMMENTS:
- => Soul-Scar Mage can shrink a Greasefang with a small burn spell, reducing its power and ability to crew
- => This matchup is hard but the deck is thankfully a bit weak overall
- ====================
- Fires (all variants)
- ====================
- -3 Bonecrusher Giant
- -4 Goblin Chainwhirler
- +4 Rampaging Ferocidon
- +3 Kari Zev's Expertise
- COMMENTS:
- => Kari Zev's Expertise can be used as a Prowess trigger when used on your own creature if it enables lethal
- => The Kari Zev's Expertise plan could be bad, maybe stick to Bonecrusher Giant in this configuration
- ================
- UR Phoenix
- ================
- -4 Goblin Chainwhirler
- +4 Rending Volley
- COMMENTS:
- => Goblin Chainwhirler plays too easily into Fiery Impulse, and we need to kill T2 Ledger Shredder. If we do, we are likely to win with early aggro
- => Kumano can help exile Arclight Phoenix
- => Speaking of Kumano, the dream is to Chapter 2 on Obosh so it's immune to Lightning Axe
- => If they don't kill any of your t1 and t2 attackers, it means they have Brotherhood's End. If they do kill something in their early turns, then that becomes unlikely, so overextend away

- RG Vehicles
- ================
- -3 Bonecrusher Giant
- +3 Kari Zev's Expertise
- COMMENTS:
- => Kill T1 elf and their deck folds to your curve
- => Kari Zev's Expertise plan could be bad there too, but I've had success in stealing an early Bonecrusher or a late Skysovereign (make sure you can crew that one, also stealing a Lovestruck Beast only works if you have a 1/1, which in this deck can only be Phoenix Chick)
- ================
- GW Angels
- ================
- -4 Phoenix Chick
- -4 Kumano Faces Kakkazan
- +4 Rampaging Ferocidon
- +4 Rending Volley
- COMMENTS:
- => g1 This is like Humans but you need to 2-for-1 yourself a lot in g1, since Bishop + Youthful + Righteous + Resplendent all need to die and the deck almost only has shocks
- => g2-g3 You have Rampaging Ferocidon and that one is only beaten by Skyclave Apparition, it's a premium there. Honestly g2 and g3 are a lot better, and g1 is certainly winnable if you kept a fast hand
