- <@joo> The description of rules is really quite unclear... but I was able to determine by reading the source code that a player's income is equal to the number of hexes that their Towns "can move to" and which no enemy town or fort "can move to".
- <@joo> Except pieces can't actually move.
- <@joo> And the movement costs are set up so that you have to be adjacent to a forest in order to be able to move to it, which enforces the rule about only getting income from forests adjacent to your towns.
- <@joo> And the fact that all pieces have the "skirmisher" ability means you have to completely enclose your territory.
- <@joo> And it looks like "pieces on mountain hexes do not give supplies to neighboring pieces" means that a piece is captured if it can't trace a path through a djacent pieces the same colour to a liberty (i.e. a hex on which it is possible to recruit) such that the path doesn't cross over a mountain.
- <@joo> However, an unoccupied mountain does count as a liberty.
- <@joo> Also, the HP of a piece seems to be the number of adjacent liberties, plus one for the hex the unit is situated on - so a group dies if all of its pieces are 1 HP.
