  6. Oh Anons, it's been so long since I've heard the call.
  7.
  8. >the juice maker gave off a loud, choking whirr, as Iadakan threw another orange in there
  9. >it did little but to make his headache even worse
  10. >but at least, he figured, he was making the antidote for it right there
  11. >no matter how cheap the brand of vodka he bought, a kick of orange always seemed to fix it
  12. >he used to be a more classy man, a whiskey type guy
  13. >but nowadays his only goal was to stave off the inevitable hangover, looming over each and every of his mornings
  14. >waiting as the fruits slowly got mushed together into a fine paste, Iadakan let his out-of-focus eyes wander aimlessly
  15. >a sheet of paper, glued onto the wall, came into view
  16. >it detailed all the important food groups, vitamins to take
  17. >he cared about those things, not too long ago
  18. >but now, with a scoff, he reached out and tore the paper down, balling it up in his clawed hand
  19. >all it did was to remind him of how bad things had gotten
  20. >he threw the wad of paper away, watching it roll some ways on the countertop, then get wedged in between an empty bottle and his leftover bag of weed, spilled over in a haphazard way
  21. >the countertop in front of him was messy, and he didn't feel the need to clean it up anymore
  22. >if anything, he was too tired to
  23. >it wouldn't have mattered anyway
  24. >it wouldn't have changed anything
  25. >seeing Damien and Liz the other day, it finally pushed Iadakan over the edge
  26. >maybe that boy was oblivious to what was happening around him, but Iadakan sure wasn't
  27. >the sudden need for a boyfriend
  28. >those baggy clothes
  29. >and the way Liz froze up seeing him, too
  30. >it couldn't have been a coincidence

  34. >Iadakan brought a clenched fist down on the counter, causing the bottle next to him to fall over
  35. >colliding with the mixer, it toppled that over too, making the still mushy pieces of orange spill all over
  36. >"F-K" Iadakan swore loudly, a word that he barely ever used before
  37. >hastily fixing the machine upright, his first instinct was to look for a tissue or paper towel
  38. >but rummaging through the mess in front of him only seemed to make things worse
  39. >the juice was still unstoppably flowing everywhere, and in his frantic search, all Iadakan achieved was to push more stuff off the counter
  40. >soon the orange river reached the edge too, dripping over the floor and his slippers
  41. >Iadakan took one more look at the chaos his kitchen had become, mirroring the shambles that his life was
  42. >with a roar, he then lurched forward, grabbing the poor juice maker with both hands
  43. >wildly launching it to the side, he slid it across the countertop, making an even bigger mess as bottles and glasses, among other pieces of random trash, fell to the floor
  44. >not to mention the rest of the juice and spongy pieces of fruit, which now tattered him elbow high
  45. >there was a sudden stop as the machine got torn from the wall socket, pulling it partways from the wall
  46. >but it didn't deter the maddened Iadakan, and with one final motion he tore the juice maker from the socket
  47. >he then flung the machine across the room, watching with some comfort as it slammed against the wall
  48. >then, there was silence
  49. >all that could be heard was Iadakan's light panting, and the macabre squelching sound the pieces of orange made, sliding down the wall and falling to the floor
  50. >...
  51. >he wasn't proud of what he just did
  52. >closing his eyes, he asked himself why he even did it
  53. >was he this far gone already?
  54. >...
  55. >opening his eyes again, he looked for the only solution he could find at the moment
  56. >only to find that even it didn't survive his onslaught
  57. >small pieces of weed clumped together into an orange-y mess
