  1. The air was cold inside the tunnel, Crystal shivered and clung to Windstar with all she had.
  2. "We're almost there, I can feel it." Windstar said calmly. Crystal smiled. Their footsteps echoed through the wet interior of the cave as they slowly approached a small opening. "This must be it," Crystal sighed, letting go of Windstar's arm, "We can only go one at a time." Windstar nodded, "You first, since you're smaller."
  3. Crystal got down onto the floor and simply crawled through the opening and to the other side, "Wow!" she exclaimed, "Wind you just gotta see this!" Excitedly, Windstar did the same and began to crawl through, unfortunately, she was just big enough to get stuck. She tugged and pushed but it was no use. "Windy?" Crystal wondered, looking for her sister. When she spotted her, she ran over in a panic, "Windy! Ah! You're stuck?"
  4. "Nah, I just like laying inside this hole in the wall. Yeah, I'm stuck!"
  5. "No need to have an attitude!" Crystal laughed, grabbing Wind's hand and pulling. Slowly but surely, Windstar began to slide out. Finally, she was freed, but the force sent them toppling over each other onto the ground. Windstar let out a muffled groan, "Agh... you okay?"
  6. Crystal nodded and smiled, "Yeah! I landed on something soft!"
  7. "That's my face."
  8. Embarrassed, Crystal helped Windstar up. They brushed themselves off and looked around. A humungous waterfall sprouted from the top of what looked to be a tall shrine. The long stream of water landed into a beautiful, sparkling pond at the bottom that was thriving with koi fish. Everything about this place was peaceful, and they had discovered it, which made it all worth it. However, Windstar glanced up at the top of the shrine to realize there was something missing. "The diamond! There's supposed to be a diamond!" she exclaimed, flailing her arms in alarm. Crystal looked at her in shock, "What? What! A diamond? Where?" She directed Crystal's attention to the top of the shrine, but this time, a dark figure came into view.
  9. "Hey!" Windstar hollered. She grabbed Crystal's arm and started to fly upwards. Crystal squealed and looked down at the abandoned ground below. Once they reached the top, the figure was seen running away. Windstar continued to fly after whoever it was at great speed, and in no time they caught up, tackling them to the ground. Of course, it was a Midnight, but there was something suspicious about the whole situation. A Midnight Clan member would not steal diamonds from a place protected by purity, they would be destroyed.
  10. "Crystal!" Windstar gasped, "This is all a--!" The stomp of a foot in front of them interrupted her sentence. Both stared up to see the infamous Darkness looking down at them. Crystal's heart raced, her mind exploded with ways of an escape, but none of them seemed realistic. Alas, she thought of one option: to contact Laefin with her necklace. Quickly, she grabbed the carved Leaf that hung around her neck and held onto it. Back in Laefin, the Co Masters were alerted with the signal of danger from their own necklaces or bracelets. Spottedleaf, Sunlight Leaf, Sage Leaf, and Spring Leaf rushed out of their huts and met in the middle of the village.
  11. "You got a signal, Spot?" Sage asked.
  12. Spot replied, "Yeah I did, does anyone know the location?" All looked at each other for a moment, panicking a little, "I got the location!" Spring and Sunlight Leaf exclaimed in unisen. They exchanged the information they had and took off towards the cave. Inside, Windstar and Crystal had become captives of Darkness. He took them into a smaller, room-like place in the forest and tied them up in strong vines. "Now, you little green-painted freaks, I need you to tell me something." Darkness growled in their faces. They both grimaced at his terrible breath.
  13. "We don't know anything! Just let us go!" Crystal raged at him. Darkness laughed deviously, "So you will not tell me the whereabouts of Redtail's grave? You see, I seek her powerful staff."
  14. Windstar snapped and bared her teeth, "That staff lies with her and Moktar now."
  15. "Ah, so you know where it is?"
  16. Wind nor Crystal spoke at all. Darkness scoffed, "Quiet, eh? I'm just going to have to make you two sing like birds. How about a little game of endurance?"
  17. "I have all the endurance in my body than you have in your--"
  18. "Now, now, no need for rude insults, Windy," he snapped his fingers to summon two Dark Creatures, "Say hello to Jyn and Gon. My newly recruited assistants."
  19. "And they are going to do what? I don't feel pain! Bring it on!" Crystal Leaf growled, trembling a bit. Again, Darkness chuckled, "Ohhh, my dear, now who said this would be painful?" Windstar was about to say something, but found herself struggling more than ever. One of the Midnights, she supposed it was Gon, to her surprise, had started tickling her without end. Crystal soon was in the exact same prediciment. Both trying to hold back the slightest grin. "The first one to laugh must give me the location of Redtail's grave and my permission to take her staff." Darkness smirked in enjoyment as he sat on a nearby boulder. Windstar closed her eyes and squirmed from left to right, but it wasn't worth the energy, the vines were too strong. This was the worst possible thing, and to make it even more worse is that it was unexpected of Darkness. Crystal constantly was on the brink of breaking first, her lip trembled as she resisted as best she could, letting out tiny, little squeaks and peeps of despair. Her mind swirled with insanity.
  20. Somewhere nearing the tunnel's entrance, the co masters ran swiftly. Upon approaching it, Spottedleaf lit a torch she had brought with her. Soon, all were into the cave without any fear or turning back. Spring Leaf and Sage searched around for an opening, but Sunlight was the first to spot one. They were on the right path. Little did they know, Midnight Chaos had been hanging from the ceiling, keeping an eye on them. "Hello!" he screeched, startling them and landing right in front of the opening to block it. "Move it, creep." Sage blurted rudely. Everyone was about to fight, but Spot stepped in and smiled sweetly at Chaos. He cooed, "Aww, well aren't you swee..." Spot frowned and kicked him where the sun does not even shine on the brightest day. He fell over in shock, the four co masters shrugged and crawled to the other side.
  21. Ten minutes had passed, Windstar and Crystal were both on the edge of insanity. Neither of them could bare no more, it was too much. Jyn and Gon knew the sensory-spots on Creature-beings all too well. Crystal finally trashed around, she had lost it. Very loudly she screamed, which was followed by endless laughter, "Okay!! Ok-ahaHAH!! Stop!! STOP!! I'll say it if you just stop!!" Both Jyn and Gon's tickling ceased slowly, letting the victims catch their breath. Windstar's ears drooped, but she knew it was not Crystal's fault, this whole situation was completely odd. Darkness gave a nasty look, "Well?" There was a silence, Crystal looked down at the ground, ashamed that she could not endure this for the Clan.
  22. "Are you going to talk? Or must we continue?" Jyn started to poke at her sides, making her scream, "No!"
  23. Just at the moment, the co masters arrived, all in their fighting positions. Sage snarled, "Darkness, you sick, crazed monkey."
  24. "Oh look the circus is in town." Darkness jeered. Spring Leaf roared and slapped him with water. He put a hand on his sore face and grinned angrily, "And they brought their weird little elements." Spottedleaf hopped up, summoning an earth-platform underneath her. After that, a whole mess of jagged rocks surrounded Darkness. Sunlight and Sage combined their power of wind and fire, to create a whirlwind of smoke. Everyone was left blinded by the fog, but Spring used a water-bubble mask to keep smoke from getting into her lungs. Soon enough, she found Windstar and Crystal. Spring conjoured enough moisture for water and made it freeze into ice. With it, she started slashing at the vines to set them free.
  25. Sage, Spot, and Sunlight were keeping Darkness busy by using mind-games. "Enough already!" Darkness hollered, waving smoke out of his face. He shouted as he felt a zap of lightning to his bottom from Sage and a pebble to the head from Spot. All of this made him let out a roar in frustration. Jyn slinked over behind Spring and hit a pressure point on her back and she collapsed. She mustered some stength and called Spottedleaf, who dove through the smoke and summoned sharp rocks to cut all the vines at once. Both Gon and Jyn tried to attack, but they got no where near her. Spot unleashed many more pointed rocks from the ground. Luckily, one of them hit Gon, who landed on Jyn, making them both useless. Windstar stood up and helped Crystal get to her feet. All co masters became aware that it was time to go.
  26. The six of them at once ran to the exit and filed out of the opening. This time, Windstar fortunately made it through. In minutes, they were safe within Laefin borders. Windstar called them to a rest under a great oak tree where they sat down to catch their breath. Sage looked to Windstar, "Geez! This all happened so fast." she said. Spring nodded and spoke up as well, "What were they even doing to you in there anyway?"
  27. "I don't want to talk about it..." Windstar replied, her face looking unamused. Crystal Leaf facepalmed and shook her head. Spottedleaf smiled, "Was it something like this?" she poked Wind's side, which caused her to jump and fall over onto her back. Everyone laughed; the rest of the day was purely peaceful.
