I’ll be honest I was a little nervous about going to Gotham as basically a normal human. It’s not a nice place to be vulnerable to bullets at. So I chose a path that would let me help the most but put me at the least amount of danger.

Apparently I was born to a rich family but my parents had been killed and I was crippled in a car accident at an early age. I inherited the family business, a company making power armor and robots, when I turned 18.

Maybe it was because I was a trust fund baby or because of my legs, people didn’t seem to expect much from me. They thought I would be content to let the company run itself and collect the profits. They were surprised when I came in with a design for an exo-skeletal brace that would allow people with spinal injuries to walk. The fact that it was able to read impulses from nerves in the neck (without intrusion) to allow people to walk normally even with spine damage was revolutionary. Just hook an unobtrusive patch on the back of the neck, strap them in and anyone could walk.

This time I didn’t have the right PHDs so I slipped the cure for cancer to a scientist friend with the understanding we would split the profits. Honestly I should have done this in the previous world because it was a lot less of a pain in the ass.

So that just left me with the small problem of being based out of a cesspool. Maybe it would have been wiser to move but I decided to start cleaning stuff up. I turned a portion of my company into a private security company. Using an army of drones and a squad of power armored humans (who I personally investigated to make sure I wasn’t creating any super villains). It didn’t take much for most of the businesses to jump at some high powered security because the Gotham PD was useless. The Power Armor was flashy and drew attention but the drones… the drones were really special. I used them to create a patrolling network to basically spy on everyone. I could hear conversations in buildings by vibrations in the windows.  I had to create an advanced AI to parse through all the conversations looking for key words and such. I found out who all the criminals were and what’s more where they kept their money.

I created another AI to learn hacking and it hacked all the organized criminals accounts and I took all of their money.

The Criminals went ape shit and started to turn on each other suspecting that their partners must have been in on it. The cops started to get overwhelmed and my company was called in to pick up the slack. I knew all of their plans at this point and where they were hiding out… We caught the criminals with minimal problems and may have collected any assets of worth, while the cops weren’t looking.

I didn’t keep all of the money though I invested it in after school programs to get kids off the street as well as Programs to help secure the prisons. I invested heavily in programs to help the poor to try and minimize crime.
A lot of the stuff from the movies didn’t happen because Gotham just wasn’t a cesspool of crime anymore. Batman I think wound up retiring because there wasn’t the crime to necessitate him. I feel bad for Bruce because he became a hermit of sorts. I don’t know what happened to the Joker. I am kind of glad. Bane… Bane was a pain in the ass but as I was still surveilling everyone I was able to catch him and stop him before his plan got too far.

Since operations in Gotham went so well we started to expand. Things played out the same in city after city.

Oh and on an unrelated note I started selling busty cat girl android based on Neko-chan. There was some uproar about the morality of it but from how they sold people are hypocrites. Everyone seems up in arms yet someone is buying them. I just make them. I don’t ask what people use them for, nor do I want to know.
Oddly though I have wound up filling a lot of requests for Traps and… custom orders. Good to know this world has a 4chan.
