I was told I have an energy emissions set-up that will defeat the enemy.

I obtained this set-up by just asking for it.

I think it is still working.

I'm in disbelief about it too, but if anyone with any resources can protect me somehow, that would be great and prudent for the both of us.

It may mean the enemy is already defeated.
