- It was time for Tsundere-kun to buy a new phone.
- After 15 minutes of looking at the cheap end ones (and another 15 of the clerk explaining what each one could do), he finally picked a burnt sienna colored one.
- "H-hey, baka?", he asks.
- "Yes?", I respond.
- "Would you like to be the first number? ...If you want...", he says.
- "Of course.", I say, exchanging digits with him.
- Grabbing Hana, who was gawking at a phone with a cover of the obvious mascot on it, Tsundere-kun pulls her away.
- "I think you had enough Takkun for one day, now how about some food?", he says.
- "Kay!", she replies, as the three of us go for a bite to eat.
- As we eat some ramen, then odango, Tsundere-kun asks me, "Can we do one more thing before we go?"
- "Sure.", I respond.
- "Can we go clothes shopping?", he says, concerned.
- "I don't see why not.", I reply.
- After we finish, we approach a clothing store.
- Tsundere-kun audibly gulps as he fidgets his fingers, shaking.
- "Are you okay?", I ask.
- "Y-yeah, it's just...I haven't been to this place since I was seven, and..."
- I knew what he was trying to say.
- "You're not sure they have clothes that'll fit yo~", I say, before being shushed by him.
- "Yes. I hate to say it, but yes. I can only make do with a shirt, but I want to try.", he says, cursing his centaur sized rear.
- "Like I said, I don't see why not.", I say, happy to reimburse any damage he does in the pursuit of fitting.
- Apparently, the only thing Hana wanted was her Takkun doll, and considering she got that from Deadpan-kun, that was a load off my wallet.
- I sighed in relief as I counted my remaining yen.
- "L-look, we can do this another time, plus, Hana seems tired.", he says, with a now groggy Hana nodding in agreement.
- A fire lit in me.
- "Are you scared?", I say smugly.
- This, in turn, lights a fire in him.
- "What did you just say?", he says, sauntering back over.
- "You're scared to try it out.", I remark.
- "Am not!", he screams with resentment.
- "Proof is in the purin, sweetie!", I holler in response.
- "I'll show YOU, baka!", he says, "Come on.", yanking Hana, making her shriek a little.
- As we walk in, he calmly sighs, and looks up at me.
- "You were right. Thank you, baka. I needed that.", he says.
- "Of course. I'm here to help.", I say, smiling back.
