1.
Kagetsu Clan within Kumogakure:
2.
3. The Kagetsu have existed in some form since the earliest recorded history. Their clan symbol can be found amongst the old foundation of Kumogakure, dating back before the destruction of the village. The clan is recorded as drawing together their survivors along with other refugees when the villages was destroyed, founding a village not far from the then ruined Kumogakure. The can continued to pass done ninja traditions, though they were very weak and untrained due to poor information and equipment.
4.
5. After the cataclysm, a young man rediscovered the ruins of the lost village of Kumogakure. Locals, aware of it's existence but certain it must be haunted by the god who destroyed it, balked at the man's idea of rebuilding and repopulating. The Kagetsu, along with several other such villages, were of another opinion and jumped to aide the cause.
6.
7. In the Kagestu clan it is taught that the Kagetsu were essential for the rebuilding of the village. Tales of Osamu, the village leader whom though communion with Raiden himself picked the very places the compound now rests on and of Irokujo, the earth master whose powers to manipulate earth and plants helped rebuild the entire city are common within the compound. Each story has been masterfully edited to keep a measure of truth and moral tale in each. For example; the tale of Kagetsu Emiko, the first Raikage of Kumogakure, will be told to stress loyalty above pleasure and the benefit of hard work, vigilance and leadership.
8.
9. It is not uncommon for Kagetsu mothers of the main and branch families to name their children after famous members of the family. Much pressure is put on their children of the clan, branch families depending on their children to elevate their status and main branch hoping to continue chains of power.
10.
11. Now:
12.
13. The Kagetsu clan has built itself and it's traditions around one goal; to create the strongest shinobi in Kumogakure. They have controlled the seat of Kage much of Cloud's last eight hundred years, going so far as to create monarchies built on skill as well and lineage. However, many of the practices of the Kagetsu can seem wrong to outsiders.
14.
15. The Kagetsu have a very strict sense of hierarchy. Amongst outsiders the Kagetsu regard themselves as superior stock, a more refined type of shinobi with the right to lead the village. This attitude is instilled within the children of the compound at an early age. One is proud to be a Kagetsu, of any branch, as to be a Kagetsu is to be superior. However, within the clan members are split up and ranked by importance.
16.
17. The Kagetsu will carefully choose the spouse of the main branch clan members and even the branch family members in order to increase the chance of strong offspring. A young adult fully adopted into the clan can expect to have his or her spouse chosen between the ages of eighteen and twenty-two, as shinobi work is considered a high fatality occupation. These matches are based much on skill, the strongest of their year might hope to be matched with a partner they grew up with but as females are in short supply, lower ranked Kagetsu males can expect to be married to a branch member female or engaged to someone of strength in one of Kumogakure's other clans. In the past the clan has also engaged in polygamy, allowing the strongest of the clan to marry several women in order to spread their offspring however this practice has long since stopped. Women, however, may opt not to marry and instead of children outside of wedlock.
18.
19. Youngsters:
20. Youngsters are grouped together two year age groups. becoming a family within the clan. They train, eat, live and learn together, spending holidays or visiting their family homes during the day.
21.
22. Each of the youngster halls are nearly identical with identical, rectangular buildings set in six winged star pattern surrounding the shared gardens at the center. This is to emulate the rest of the compound as there are five other similarly structured stars surrounding the greater center building and clan gardens. Each building has a basic training ground in the back and a small meditation garden in the front that is accessible only building's group and is to be cared for by its members (and a small string of staff from the branch family)
23.
24. The building are built in a mix of stone and wood, with traditional Japanese elements with a heavy introduction of stone. Each building has its own bath house, small kitchen an ten rooms which are shared at the beginning yet become singles as weaker students are weeded out. A stove in the center of the building keeps all the rooms warm and an extra layer of screens may be pulled to keep the heat in winter. Rooms are meant to be kept neat, without damage, with futons rolled up each morning and
25.
26. Fostered children, who will have lived until then in the branch family compound (another ring of building surrounding the six-star) are mixed with main branch children at the age of eight should they show enough potential. After each two year period they are tested and moved on, generally cutting those entered into the group by half. At eighteen the group will be moved into the next set of buildings or allowed to make homes for themselves in the city and within two next two to five years a spouse is chosen.
27.
28. There is always a steady stream of traffic between the main and branch compounds and the different halls. Parents will often visit children or can meet them in one of the many small tea houses set among the compound gardens, to gain reports on progress or express encouraging words. Main branch members will take turns training the children the the elder groups are expected to watch over the younger. The entire compound takes an interest in the growth of it's children though, There is no neglect.
29.
30. Meals are served together either in the middle garden or under the shelter of the building porches and are watched by an etiquette teacher. Each youth has their own set of dishes and is in charge of keeping them clean. Clothing is kept fairly uniform in the first four years but as the youths join the academy and become shinobi dress codes become a non issue, 'uniforms' meant only for special events. It is customary however to wear the Kagetsu symbol somewhere on whatever clothing is chosen.
31.
32.
33. Main Family Ranks:
34.
35. Little: A child between one and six, born to a member of a main family mother(as paternity can not be guaranteed). These children are too young yet to separate from their parents. They experience much privilege, early training and can expect to be cared for as much by branch family caretakers as their own parents.
36.
37. Youngster: Children between six and fifteen whom have been placed in training together, removed from their parents. This allows for the stronger members of the family to return to full, active duty as a shinobi earlier.
38.
39. The first two years is comprised completely of children of the main branch, these children are given the extra grounding and early education that a branch family member could not expect. At the age of eight, children from   the branch family who have proven to have enough potential to become a main family member are added(At normal   Academy student age) to the Main branch children's compound.
40.
41. Children of the main branch are expected to pass the Academy by the age of ten and have obtained the rank of chuunin by fifteen. If any of the children, no matter their early heritage, fail to meet these markers they are placed in the Branch family where their only hope to return is to gain Jounin by eighteen and pass an  extensive  testing. Most do not.
42.
43. There is also a specialized test which the Kagetsu use to decide for certain if the child may remain, not trusting the village's standards to weed out the weak. At twelve each child is tested and those who do not make it are moved to the branch family. It is also at this age that a Kage expectant would be chosen, should the Kagetsu be in a position to place one. By the end of this process the number of children will number less than a third of the original group accepted at six.
44.
45. Because of the high expectations placed on them, Main branch children are generally a reserved and serious. Their relatively advanced skill sets give them a general air of superiority around children of their own age. In older years they tend to stick to themselves, believing the children within their own age group to be the only ones worthy and understanding of them.
46.
47. Juvenile:
48.
49. Ages between fifteen and eighteen. Young adults of this age are moved to a different compound set where they are given their own rooms and greater freedoms. Training becomes less formal, with students often taking on a single advanced, specialized teacher(usually a retired shinobi or parent of littles). Teens are expected to gain the Rank of Jounin by the end of these years, however they may take until twenty if the clan has good reason for delay.
50.
51. At eighteen a clan member's position is solidified. There are no tests, the elders simply notify the young man or woman of their ranking some time in their eighteenth year. Unbeknownst to the youngsters, it is their   specialized teachers whom decide.
52.
53. Tested:
54. Young adults between the ages of twenty and thirty who have been accepted into the main family of the clan. This is the beginning of the benefits that a Kagetsu fights to gain through their childhood. The best paying missions are distributed to Main Family first. There are no cleaning duties, a small on compound home is given to them along with a standard allowance, or, should they choose to live away from the compound their home of choosing is paid for (within reason). 50% of a tested's wages go towards repayment to the clan however menial tasks are never expected and one may even expect to be tidied up after by a Branch member.
55.
56. Sometime in these years a tested adult is expected to marry. Main branch members are given options within their own level of the clan (based on careful relation charts) or may have a marriage arranged to an outsider should   the clan find them acceptable(Usually a formal adopting into the clan is required).
57.
58. Women at this age tend to be incredibly picky, as the success of their offspring will weigh as heavily upon them as their own successes. Men are expected to marry strong women and pass on their own strengths.
59.
60. Adult: A Kagetsu who is both married and successfully tested into the Main Family. This rank lasts between the  ages of thirty and sixty, the longest standing, unless one is raised to the level of elder. A member's dept  to the clan is considered ended by the time one reaches this age and thus they receive 95%% of their wages.
61.
62. Elder: Elders are the leaders of the clan. They are a dozen men and women who personally run the entire clan. They accept missions on behalf of the entire clan from the Kage(unless a specific person is asked for) and are   the people everyone works to impress and become.
63.
64. Revered Elder: An individual who has lived past the age of sixty in the hard life of a shinobi. These clan members are considered retired and allowed to life of doting grandparent or knowledgeable elder. All their needs   are paid for by the clan and nothing more is asked of them unless an extreme situation may arise. Some of these individuals may choose to take students but often they are happy to live out their lives in opulence and peace as yet unavailable to them. Revered elders, as a whole, may override the decision of the elders should they deem it necessary.
65.
66. Members of the main branch have their names etched into the wall surrounding the compound and as one of the few spiritual practices allowed they are revered as guardians of the family. A ceremony is held one a year to honor those whom had the strength to live full lives.
67.
68. Those of greater heroic value have their name etched into the walls of the compound main building.
69.
70. Special: Special is tagged onto any of the ranks in order to denote leadership or a higher level within the rank. Treatment is always just a little better for specials.
71.
72. Note: Orphans adopted into the family are given the same rights and privileges of children born into the family. Kagetsu focus primarily in strengthening the core of their family and thus
73.
74.
75. Branch Family Ranks:
76.
77. Little: Children born to a Branch Family mother(as paternity can not be guaranteed) or orphans adopted into the family between the ages of one and eight. These children are spurred to work hard from the beginning with  hopes  they will be selected to join advanced training at eight. They are often found in packs wandering the compounds, completing chores and errands as needed with hopes of catching an main member's eye. The large numbers are the reason women of the branch family are often referred to and ranked as breeders.
78.
79. Youngster: Branch family children are considered youngsters at the age of six and placed together in their own training area. They are then expected to prove themselves worthy of advancing to the Main family training group by the age of eight or meet the requirements placed on them by the family. A child unable to graduate the academy by the age of twelve will be removed from shinobi training. Orphans brought in at   childhood become part of the work force in the branch family which keep the compound clean and running smoothly. Children of Branch and Main families are allowed to continue their training or given the option to   become trades-people or scholars.(few take this option)
80.
81. There is fierce competition between children of this group for the first few years, but by their fourteenth year those remaining consider themselves closer than even the Main family members. On top of training these   children are still expected to complete chores and help their parents on off days as the family hopes the hard work will make them stronger and perhaps worthy of the Main branch.
82.
83. Juvenile: Teens between the age of fifteen and twenty. Branch Family children are expected to reach the rank of Jounin by the age of twenty. They are moved to their own compound, a less opulent version of the Main branch housing and are expected to care, mostly, for their own needs.
84.
85. It is at this age that Branch family girls will begin to look for strong husbands as their children will be their last hope to be accepted into the main branch. Men will try to woe Main branch women, however due to   their lower number it is often near-impossible to woo such a woman without trickery.
86.
87. Tested: Young men and women between twenty and thirty who have been tested and placed completely in the branch family. They have failed one or more of the tests given to them by the family or have yet to reach the Jounin rank. They are given a home based on their current martial status and given a base allowance based on offspring and work taken, or allowed to take a home outside the compound which is paid for however they cannot expect pay  from the family.
88.
89. If they have not yet married, a branch family member is expected to find a spouse by this age. If missions are not in abundance, branch family members are expected to take up menial tasks with the workers, helping out at  the few shops the Kagetsu fund or around the compound in order to earn their keep. Some also take up training the youngsters.
90.
91. Breeder: A slang term used within the compound which has become generally accepted outside polite conversation. Women who have opted out of continuing their shinobi training for the life of bearing children. Often married   by twenty, they are known as breeders for the large brood of children seen following them about on errands. These woman hope to have at least one or two children who pass all the requirements to become part of the main family, raising their own status within the family. Women who have married are able to raise the status of   their husbands as well, even if heritage is questionable. However, women, and their husbands brought into the   main family by this method are still considered below the others of the family, despite receiving the benefits   of such.
92.
93. Worker: The rank of a man or women who has dropped their shinobi training in exchange for working for the  family. As the title suggests, many of these people are cleaning and maintenance within the compound. They good  the food, clean the rooms, take care of the grounds and lend a hand in any way they are needed. Despite the  name implication, this title also applies to scholars and trades gifted members of the family, however it is  more common for those with specialty training to be titled by their profession.
94.
95. While they continue to work for the family, a worker will receive room, board and payment based on the work  they complete. A worker who wishes to live outside the compound may do so and can expect higher pay.
96.
97. Adult: A Kagetsu who is both married and  tested into the Branch family. This rank lasts between the ages of thirty and sixty, the longest standing, unless one is raised to the level of elder. A member's dept to the clan  is considered ended by the time one reaches this age and thus they receive 95% of their wages.
98.
99. Elder:  Elders of the Branch family are in charge of the day to day running of the clan. Composed mostly of  women, this group divides up in clan work, schedules meals and makes sure everything is running smoothly within  the clan. Any member who has an issue with these aspects of the clan are allowed to approach any number of  these women to express it. Though not seemingly as powerful as the Main Family Elders, the Branch family elders  are given great respect as everyone knows without them their peaceful lives would be in ruins. They are given  slightly more respect than a normal Main family member but are below revered elders and Main Family elders.
100.
101. Retired Elder: Though not the great retirement halls of the revered elders, the homes of the retired elders  are comfortable, warm and enjoyable to live in. Considered to be finished their duty to the clan, any Branch family member may retire at the age of sixty five to relative luxury. They share gardens with the other elders  and it is often one will see old friends of divided ranks playing Go on sunny days.
102.
103. Other information: Any man, woman or child who wishes to leave the clan may do so, however such a move happens so rarely within the ninja trained Branch and Main families that the few whom have are famous. It is not uncommon, however, branch family women with few prospects to marry outside the clan and take another name, or for 'worker' class members to choose a new name and life elsewhere.
104.
105. The clan maintains loyalty through instilling a deep responsibility to the entire clan in each and every child from an early age. Members of the clan are proud of their strict standards and ingrained protocols that come  along with their lives. They believe themselves, in most cases, to be above shinobi raised of other means. This includes even the lowest class person within the family, for they know that no matter what comes their way in  life the clan will always be there to fall back on in hardship.
106.
107. The clan has often been accused of brainwashing it's children or making 'breeding programs'. While such extreme measures of happened in the history of the clan, it does not to the day practice such barbaric practices. A clan member my reject any of the spouse choices presented to them by the clan, however, few rarely do. Those wishing to marry someone of their choice need only to petition the clan to add said person to their options and in most cases this is allowed.
108.
109. As for breeding programs, well there is nothing illegal about pairing well matched youths for the likelihood of  strong children like their parents. ( =D )
110.
111. Adoption into the clan is a well established practice, and the clan has received much praise for bringing in children from throughout the village. However, it is also possible to join the clan at a later age, either by  proving your power/worth in a series of tests or by marrying a main branch member. The Kagetsu are quick to welcome new blood.
112.
113.
114. NPC's (These Dnpcs are to be connected to Kagetsu Osamu, however with Kumo's permission I'd like them to be  attachable to any Kagetsu member who might join the clan =o so I will be RPing the 'setting' for the compound. I will be making several other youngsters for on compound use however Kyuui and Arasoi will be the only consistent characters.)

118. Age: 8
119. Clan Rank: Main Family|Youngster
120. Village Rank: Academy Student
121.
122. Short History:Adopted into the Kagetsu family at three, Kyuui barely managed to become an accept part of the main branch of the illustrious family. Gifted nominally in Taijutsu and predominately in Genjutsu she has needed to work twice as hard to become an acceptable member of the clan. If not for Arasoi's help as children she would have never made it so far.
123.
124. Kyuui took a liking to Osamu immediately when they were grouped together. Because of her benevolence nature she has been able to keep well in tune with his feelings, lending an ear when he might be troubled or keeping the  others away when he needs time alone. She enjoys finding him on warm evenings to listen to him play the flute or ask questions troubling her. It is Kyuui's opinion that Osamu is quite wise and kind, that he can be trusted  to explain lessons that trouble here without the impatience of most others.
125.
126. Personality: A very kind girl who is thankful for that all that she has been given in life. A true orphan, she  would have been shuffled to the branch family as a 'breeder' if not for her 'elder brother' Arasoi. Thus she is  hard working, undergoing twice as much training to keep up in jutsu types unsuited for her skill level. She is  known to be kind, to always have an open ear and to keep everything on confidence. She seems to have an uncanny knack for knowing when someone is troubled and picking out their feelings.
127.
128. Family:N/A (She considers Arasoi to be like a brother)
129.
130.

132. Age: 8
133. Clan Rank: Main Family|Youngster
134. Village Rank: Academy Student
135.
136. Short History: Arasoi was adopted into the Kagetsu family at the age of three, one of five children selected  that year to be fostered. Within five years he was one of two left, the other three having been discarded. He  became fiercely protective of the fifth, Kyuui, whom through his extra care and support managed to not only remain a part of the family but avoid being labeled a 'breeder' or branch family member.
137.
138. He has no memories of his time outside the family and considers Kyuui to be like a sister to him. He is fiercely protective of her.
139.
140. Personality: A polite and humble young man to the elders but strong and rambunctious youth among his own age group. He has the good qualities of a strong leader yet seems content to live in Osamu's shadow. He considers  Osamu to be a best friend, despite their short time together, both looking up to him and protecting him.
141.
142. Family: N/A (Considers Kyuui a sister)
143.
144.
145. Name: Kagetsu, Keiko
146. Age: 40
147. Clan Rank: Main Family|Adult
148. Village Rank: Jounin
149. Short History: Middle child of Rikyo, she is considered to be a failure by her mother. However this has never bothered Keiko, as her ambitions never lay in impressing her mother whom, to her, already had enough status. Instead, Keiko has focused on proving her mother wrong, showing that her methods and life were not the most ideal for the clan. Since her mother did not marry, Keiko did so at a young age. As her mother had many  children of many men, Keiko has had only three with a single father, only having the next when the first showed no promise. Since her mother did little in the way of parenting, Keiko has tried to take a full hand in raising  her children.
150.
151. However, her efforts while promising for others have proven dismal. The first two of her sons have failed to  become main branch members(Risu only lost one of four to such a fate), leaving reiko to take her anger and  frustration out on the young boys. She feels cheated despite all the careful planning she has done in her life. She is now a harpy, pitting her children against one another while placing unreasonable expectations on her youngest son, Osamu.
152.
153. Personality: A self entitled and pompous women with an over developed sense of self worth. She believes her way  to be the very best, is known to abuse others she deems below her and will take only the best of life. She is  talented at back handed remarks and nothing she says can be taken in full honesty. A snake in the grass.
154.
155.
156. Name: Kagetsu, Rikyo
157. Age: 86
158. Clan Rank: Main Family|Reverred Elder[Special]
159. Village Rank:
160. Short History: Kagetsu Kiyo's younger sister. She earned a good name for herself in the clan despite the bad blood between her father, sister and the clan. She is often used as an example of a good clan member, and one  might go so far as to call her a hero. However her upbringing and family haunt her to this day, leaving a scar on her and her six children's bloodline. She never married herself, instead taking many lovers from within and  outside the clan. She refused marriage through the clan, opting to instead add new blood to the clan.
161.
162. Personality: Known as a strong a blood thirty shinobi, a woman who you could trust to hold your back, Rikyo has since embraced the comforts of old age. She has confined herself to meddling in the lives of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, lending an ear and advice as needed. She is protective of her immediate family and is the first to brag about an achievement her grandchildren might manage.(something she could not do as a mother)
163. Family: -Many- Including all characters listed unless otherwise stated.
164.
165.
166. Name: Kagetsu, Risu
167. Age: 65
168. Clan Rank: Main Family|Elder
169. Village Rank:
170. Short History: Daughter of revered elder Kagetsu Rikyo, she is one of two of the woman's children to hold an  elder position. She has taken up her mother's meddling within the clan and while not so famous is not a woman  anyone wishes to cross. A strong young woman, she worked hard to hold up the standards her mother set even as  she grew older. She views Keiko as the weakest of her four children and has little hope for her grandchildren  begotten by her. She has, however, taken to keeping an eye on Osamu in hopes they will not 'botch this one'.  She never married herself, instead taking several lovers from the stronger shinobi of her generation as her  mother did.
171.
172. Personality: Risu is a high energy personality, even in her old age. She can often be found taking walks or overseeing the training of the youngsters in her free time. She is kindly but not friendly, keeping children at arms length with a professional additude. She is considered easy to like but hard to befriend. Her pride is one  of her greatest assets and weaknesses, driving her to keep the clan strong to a point of being blinded by the  faults of individuals so long as they benefit the clan.
173.
174. Family: See other Dnpc!
175.
176.
177. Name: Kagetsu, Jeichou
178. Age: 43
179. Clan Rank: Main Family|Adult
180. Village Rank: Jounin
181. Short History: Husband of Keiko, Jeichou was an orphan adopted into the clan. As such, he had to work hard to gain his status and was, in his younger ranks, considered a special. He married Keiko because of the link his children would have with the old blood of the clan, despite the mark on that particular branch. He bit off more than he could chew and has found himself the unknowing victim of Keiko's plans, pushed into the politics of the clan on her behalf. This does not bother him though, as beneath he was always a power hungry man, He is now considered a candidate for Elder, however his dismal success with his own children has cast a shadow over his hopes. He too places unreasonably high expectations on his third son, Osamu.
182.
183. Personality: A power hungry and determined man. He rarely smiles or seemed to enjoy himself. He does not seem to like children, despite having his own, and relates poorly to them. He is utterly devoted to the clan, the village and his own gain within both, taking advantage of the systems he lives in to succeed. He is quick to back stab those who get in his way and simper to his betters for favour.
184. Family: Seijirou(son) Junpeiko(son), Osamu(son), Keiko(wife)
185.
186.
187. Name: Kagetsu, Seijirou
188. Age: 18
189. Clan Rank: Branch Family|Juvenile
190. Village Rank: Chuunin
191. Short History: After failing to reach chuunin before his fifteenth year, Sei was moved to the Branch family. As the first child he too the brunt of his parents disappointed and that has made him bitter. He would often pick  on both his much younger brothers, gaining more anger from his family members. It is rare now to see him around  the family home, as he has taken an apartment outside the clan and is rumored to spend much of his income on  alcohol and women of ill repute.
192.
193. Personality: Quick to anger and jealous of anyone better than him, Seijirou made few friends and a child and  cast many of those off when he failed to qualify for Main family. Despite that, he refuses to cut himself  cleanly from the family, enjoying the weekly pay and benefits of being even a mere branch family member while  complaining loudly of the bad aspects of the family. He is not well regarded and talk has circulated, much to  his parents horror, of cutting him from the clan completely. "Do not become like your brother." is an common  line within the family and it is obvious even to a child that he is no longer loved by either parent.

198. Name: Kagetsu, Junpeiko
199. Age: 14
200. Clan Rank: Main Family|Youngster
201. Village Rank: Genin
202. Short History: Second son of Keiko and Jeichou. He is in his final year of training and has yet to pass a chuunin exam with little hope of being capable of doing so. With a natural but untrained gift in healing he is  likely to be bumped back into the branch family along with his elder brother and fostered out into a family  with medical branch students.
203.
204. Personality: Fairly fun loving and even tempered despite the heavy expectations his parents and clan have placed on him. He seems to have come to terms with his demotion in the family and if asked about it he would  rather tell you his new plans for thr future. He would be an easy brother to love, if not for the temperament of his parents and the way they pitted their children against one another. He now regrets how he treated his two  siblings and pities them for their continued struggles. Deep down he is disappointed in himself and the constant  reminders of that within the clan do nothing for his self esteem.

209. Name: Kagetsu, Ruren
210. Age: 63
211. Clan Rank: Main Family|Elder
212. Village Rank: Jounin
213. About: Brother of Risu, Son of Rikyo. He is one of the dozen members of the Elder's council and the voice of knowledge amongst them. Besides being an excellent shinobi, Ruren's Nara blood has given him strength in knowledge which he uses to make the best possible decision for the clan. He is considered impartial to a fault, never allowing the emotions of others or himself to get in the way. This had made him valuable as an elder but difficult to keep as a friend. Many arguments have been won or lost by convincing Ruren of the logic of their side.

216. Name: Kagetsu, Gaku
217. Age: 8
218. Clan Rank: Main Branch|Youngster
219. Village Rank: Academy Student
220. About: Another of the children in Osamu's age group. He is small and bookish but despite his appearances is able to hold his own in training. With short black hair and bespectacled bright blue eyes he stands out among the  other students simply because he seems contented to be away from the other children at all times, taking to  books instead of friends. Some of the elder children like to tease him, and without a protector like Kyuui he has become fair game for the others.
221.
222. He is one of Osamu's second cousins, sharing a grandmother.(Risu)

226. Age: 32
227. Clan Rank:Main Branch|Adult[Teacher]
228. Village Rank: Jounin
229.
230. About: Current teacher of Osamu's age group of youngsters. He is a tough, no non-sense sort of teacher with little patience for repeating himself. Despite that he is a good teacher and will take the time to try a  different way to teach a child who is genuinely confused. He is not, however, trusted much as it is he who decides which children will be weeded from the main family at this stage.
231. The complex:
232.
233. The Kagetsu estate is broken up into three rings, like a bulls eye, then separated again into six sections. At the heart of the complex is the manor house which holds the library, the elder's chambers, the theater, and a warren of hold buildings which have turned the building into a maze above and below ground. The building was constructed on the foundations of an older manor predating the destruction of Kumogakure and it is rumored that not even it's original builders are aware of all the hidden rooms and passages of the building. The 'palace', as it has been dubbed amongst clan members, has been expanded and reworked many times in the last eight hundred years, all in an effort to add some control.
234.
235. From the palace branches six bridges, all equal in length, leading to a separate section of the second ring of the compound. Each is named for the place they lead to and there is great meaning in the path one chooses to take. A youngster would be expected to circle around and use their own path into the manor, visitors would be confined to the path that leads out of the compound, etc. The bridges are not so much actual bridges as they are long walk ways with asian-style tiled roofs which are favored in the compound, to keep the elements off. The bridge is lined with wind chimes, meant as good luck, and on a windy day their music can be heard in the corners of the complex.
236.
237.  On either side of the bridges are gardens, a blatant display of wealth as they are both well cared for and expansive. However this garden is not just for aesthetic purposes; wandering from the bridge to the carefully laid paths would lead one to any number of vegetable gardens, herb gardens, green houses or apothecary gardens.
