**__BASIC INFIORMATION__**

Description:

HUMAN FORM; A fairly tall woman dressed in white kimono; decorated with a variety of blue butterflies. She's somewhat curvaceous, possessing a pair of dark-furred ears and nine white tails, tipped with black.

BASE FORM; A long, legless fox. A mix between serpent and vulpine.

**__SKILLS AND ABILITIES__**

Thaumaturgical Magic: Izumi is an expert at Thaumaturgy; a branch of magic that uses written sigils and seals that are then used to bend reality to the will of the caster. This is mostly notable due to the fact that Izumi has the ability to cast spells without actually writing them; she is capable of projecting the runes with thought alone.

Notably, Izumi EXCELLS at elemental Thaumaturgy.

Bound form: Izumi is trapped within the form of a serpentine fox. This is the only way she can naturally restore mana over time; while in her human form, she's left burning mana constantly, and thus opts to be in her serpent form for most situations that require her magic.

Life's Breath: Izumi breathes a bright, ruby red flame that causes rapid restoration of anyone injured. Outside of bringing the dead back, Life's breath can return anyone to a pristine state.

Booze Thaumaturgy: Magic based around manipulating alcohol in a variety of ways.

Tail Enlargement: Izumi can extend her tails and harden the fur; while in her fox form, she can also enlarge or shrink herself at will.

**__GEAR AND TECH__**

All of these are on Valerie's sheet, and typically held by her

Pillars of Creation: A three-section staff that's typically held by her assistant. In this case, Valerie now has that honor.

When activated, it can create up to nine stone pillars to raise up from the earth.

Bottomless Flask: A unique flask with multiple corks. It contains an indefinite amount of liquid that Izumi can identify based upon the cork she pulls off.

Kitsune Pipe: A special pipe; when mana is channeled into it, it causes Izumi to go into her human form. Izumi can also transport the pipe to her at will, albeit at the expense of mana.

Butterfly Kimono: Causes butterflies to rapidly fly out from the kimono she's wearing. The butterflies are made of a translucent mist, and flood the air with a steamy fog. Izumi is capable of shaping this mist into illusionary images that suit her liking.



**__PERSONAL INFORMATION__**

Personality:  Lackadaisical, tends to never take things seriously. Prefers to live a life filled with excitement; hence her gambling and alcoholism.

Background: Izumi's life began long, long ago. An era that was marked by nothing but war, blood, and betrayal thanks to Zengese politics. Countless clans wrestled for control over the country through whatever prodigy managed to stand above all through their magic.

Izumi, of course, was one such prodigy; a young sorceress bred, trained, and raised for the sole sake of becoming the greatest sorceress in Zeng. Unfortunately, power was not something that you could amass too easily without underhanded tactics; many of her political opponents snuck into other homes, using spies to pilfer their thaumaturgical knowledge so that they could be used against them. A means to circumvent this, of course, was through simply following the paths to her secluded shrine.

The Himura family had several of these, dedicated to worshiping Inari; the great fox of fortune. One day, Izumi's contemplative studies were met not by an enemy or stray, however...but an oddly curious fox, white furred and blue eyed. Soon, one fox became two; two became four, until Izumi found herself circled by a literal pack of vixens.

The foxes had noticed the Himura family's devotion to the fox of fortune, and offered assistance; in exchange for her continued service to Inari, they would grant her the means to stand above the other clans and become the next Archmage of Zeng...

Of course, they left out the fact that Inari was also a trickster, leaving Izumi's service not just bound, but leaving her human body forced to be eternally leeched of its mana, granted to Inari as a means of keeping loyalty to the goddess.

Izumi, had of course, taken this as a gift despite the harsh toll it took on her body, now left permanently bound in a Fox's form, she's forced to have an assistant at all times; and after Izumi was inevitably crowned Archmage and ruler of Zeng, the Shimada family had sworn fealty to the Himura, now remaining wholly subservient. Countless generations passed, and that leads to now!

...Where a curious, certain niece decided to break the timeline through one of her Thaumaturgical breakthroughs, resulting in her being warped off to a new world.
