Professor Charles Francis Xavier, who has the mutant ability to read minds, searches for new mutants to train them how to use their powers for good and to prevent the mutants from harming themselves and others at his School for Gifted Youngsters. His opposition, Magneto "Master of Magnetism", is doing the same thing, but for evil purposes. He has made Mystique who is a shape-shifter, a principle of his high school to gather evil mutants to prepare them for war against non-mutants. The most interesting plot of the story is that all the heroes and villains attend the same high school. The classic battle of good vs. evil has begun again.
  43. A group of people discover that they have been born with superpowers and must decide whether to use them for good or evil. When more people discover they have superhuman powers, the ranks of good and evil swell and the battle between both sides rages.
  44. I had to register and write about this, being that there&#39;s only one opinion on this, and well.. don&#39;t get me started on it.<br/><br/>For one, this is an extremely great show. I encourage you to watch it, the script was great! Rogue never said &quot;Suga&quot; but you have to remember she&#39;s just a teen in this, and she used that phrase mainly when she was older. Anyway, the script is EXCELLENT! The episodes are packed with fun, Stan Lee would be proud (if he&#39;s seen it). <br/><br/>The characters are are awesome. Perfect Gambit, Jean, Cyclops, wolverine, and more. The voice casting was perfect. I love Wolverine&#39;s voice. I like the original voice, too, but this one&#39;s really good. He does some exciting things in certain episodes, the typical Wolverine. Very great character. Storm appears a lot in seasons 3-4. I spent many nights watching this great show, like an entire summer and counting. X-Men Evolution contains the best Shadowcat I&#39;ve seen in anything besides the comics. Shadowcat is pretty, funny, and someone we can all relate to at times. Jean and Cyclops were excellent in this, and so were Spyke, Avalanche, Magneto, Pyro (love that accent), Blob, and others! Even the brotherhood had great voices and story lines. What makes it so neat is that the script is so good, the Brotherhood all have their own personalities! Kurt was amazing, too.<br/><br/>I am encouraging people to watch this show, it has me hooked, and I still watch it. After four great seasons, X-Men Evolution is currently not in production, and it ended well. Although, if any of the creators happen to be reading this, please, bring it back! There are so many fans of this show that are eager to see more. I&#39;m so anxious for more of this show I could scream! Thank you for your time! Enjoy!
  45. Let&#39;s go through the history here of the X-Men in TV and Movies. Early 80&#39;s, we get the cheesy version, the original cartoon....it struck out in pretty much every aspect, right down to Wolverine having an Australian accent. 10 years later, we get its opposite, a version of the cartoon, faithful to the comics in almost every way, right down to its final season. After that, we get a live action version which does the same, in its own way. The changes made actually helped the transition. With these two things to draw inspiration from, why then does this TRAVESTY exist?! With X-Men: Evolution, we get all the elements of the comic, dumbed down for the kiddies to enjoy. OK, start with the fact that all the characters, with the exception of Wolverine, Magneto, Mystique and Prof X are now lifeless teenagers, and even Mystique has become, what, the school principal?! These are not the X-Men we know and love. This is the Marvel equivalent of Muppet Babies, wrapped up in a trendy, non-offensive package. Then you get down to the subtle things. Every episode seems to be the same, either one would-be X-Man, or a would-be villain is just discovering his or her powers, and the other X-Men just have to help...wow...lots of originality there. But just non-offensive enough to get on Kids WB....But then..I can&#39;t be surprised....this is the same network that forced the cutting of SIX WHOLE MINUTES out of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, a film that is being hailed as the best Batman film since the original 1989 movie.
