  1. Millie Bobby Brown x Sophia Lillis: Death Battle
  2.
  3. Well past the stroke of midnight. An alleyway. A trashcan lays on its side. A rat scurries. As a wad of newspaper blows by, SOPHIA LILLIS enters the alleyway. The phosphorescent lights high up on the brick walls catch her fiery hair, and then she steps into the shadows again.
  4. At the other end of the alley, the young actress MILLE BOBBY BROWN enters. She stands with her shoulders square, blocking the entrance. At sight of her, Sophia stops. Millie’s newly-grown black hair gleams in the alleylights, and her face is stern.
  5. “It ends here, ‘Bevy,’” she says.
  6. “Don’t call me that,” Sophia replies, her usually-happy face pulled in a weathered frown. She has had enough. Indeed the nightmare must end.
  7. Millie takes another step into the alley, and Sophia doesn’t move.
  8. “You thought you were hot shit coming out with a hit new movie right before the second season of my show started, didn’t you?” Millie said. Her stern face began to boil.
  9. “It’s just a job.”
  10. “I was supposed to get that role! Me and Finn! It was supposed to be that way! I mean, Jesus, it’s the same plot!”
  11. “’It’ was written in 1986.”
  12. At that, Millie sprints at her. Sophia flinches, but can't retaliate against the pure rage she just unleashed. Millie tackles her to the cold, hard pavement, and the battle begins.
  13. The punches come down like hammers. Sophia manges to put her arms up and keep them away from her face. It is obvious that’s what Millie wants: to undo her good looks. But, Sophia thinks, she would never damage her acting ability. This thought somehow fills her with fight, and she brings a knee up into Millie’s gut.
  14. “Oof!” she cries out, as if she did not expect her adversary to fight back. Sophia is on her feet at once. She manges to shove the enraged girl away, and Millie actually stumbles and falls onto her back.
  15. “You bitch! You BITCH! UGGHH!”
  16. Millie is on her feet before Sophia can decide whether or not to strike her while her opponent is down. Now it doesn't matter. Millie won't go down again. She advances on Sophia, who looks around the alley for anything she can use to defend herself. A trashcan lid finds itself in her hands, a classic alley-fight weapon, and Millie doesn't even react to her new arms as she charges, and Sophia whaps her across the face with it. This time she is dazed.
  17. “This has to end,” Sophia says as Millie staggers. “Millie, I don’t want to take any fame away from you. I never meant to. I don’t see why we can’t just co-exist.”
  18. “Because,” Millie says. “People are already comparing you to me. They’re singing their praises about you, OVER me! We can’t co-exist. It’ll never happen.” As she speaks, blood trickles from the corner of her mouth, and Sophia feels bad for drawing that blood. But this is necessary.
  19. “So be it,” Sophia says, and Millie lets out an enraged cry more fit for an animal than a young girl, and lunges at Sophia. She is ready, however, and blocks Millie’s path with the trashcan lid. She meets it with full force, and Sophia digs her heels into the ground as Millie pushes her back, and then, against any moral judgment that may still be in her, Sophia pulls her weapon back, raises it up, and brings it down square on Millie’s head. The girl goes down like a ton of bricks, and Sophia breathes a momentary sigh of relief. Millie lies on her back, heaving, still conscious, still enraged, and Sophia looks down at her as one looks down at a rabid animal.
  20. “One last chance, Millie,” Sophia says. Millie gazes up at her with one crazed eye, communicating even now that she will not stop. She has no intention ever to stop. Sophia raises the lid. Millie lurches upwards, and from her side she produces a jagged piece of broken glass, and delivers it squarely into Sophia’s gut.
  21. “Bitch,” she hisses, as Sophia loosens and stares off into shock. Millie twists the weapon in her guts. “Fucking bitch.”
  22. Sophia drops to her knees. Her stomach gushes blood. Through her head runs thoughts, thoughts of regret, of things she could have done differently, things she could have not done at all. But quickly they begin to fade, as Millie stands over her now, withdrawing the piece of jagged glass, and watching in glee as the redhead’s red blood spills on the blacktop. But her gleeful gaze fades at Sophia’s last words, as she gazes up at her murderer, with startlingly lucid eyes. “I... forgive you,” Sophia says, and then she falls face-down on the pavement. Millie stands in shock. She has defeated her enemy. But why does she feel so horrible?

  26. She burst into the emergency waiting room, Sophia slung over her shoulder, both of them drenched in blood.
  27. “You gotta help her!” Millie yells at the exasperated desk clerk, without any context. Already, nurses rush to the fallen girl’s aid. “You gotta save her! She’s the only thing I got left. Oh please, God, save her!”
  28. “Calm down, miss, she’s in good hands. Stab wound?”
  29. “What? Yes. She was stabbed... somebody jumped us. Oh God!”
  30. “It’s okay, we have her now. Have a seat over there.”
  31. Several hours later, Millie sits at Sophia’s bedside. Sophia barely clings to consciousness, but Millie is there, grabbing her hand. And, at the almost perfectly cinematic moment, Sophia opens her eyes.
  32. “Sophie, I’m so sorry,” Millie says. “I was just too worked up. I can’t even bare the thought of what I just did. Sophie, please... forgive me.”
  33. Sophia coughs, and looks at her with a flat expression. Millie tears up, afraid of what is going to be said, or not said.
  34. “Don’t call me Sophie,” Sophia says, and the corner of her mouth turns up in a little smile. Millie’s tears brim past their spilling point, and she breaks into a slobbering laugh-cry, and she leans over Sophia’s bed and hugs her.
  35. “...You’re hurting me.”

  39. They almost lost each other in the crowd at the Academy Awards, there were so many people. Millie and Sophie (Sophia) got pulled away only a few times for individual questions, but for the most part, people liked seeing them and questioning them together. After all, they were co-stars in the year’s hottest movie: “Leon: The Professionals” (this time there were two girls instead of just one).
  40. They took home a few awards, for cinematography and for best soundtrack, but neither Millie nor Sophia got acting awards that night. They didn’t mind. They had each other’s support. After the festivities, they found themselves back at the hotel, where they were faced with even more journalists and crowds, until they retired to their separate rooms.
  41. Unbeknownst to them, hiding in Sophia’s room was Dafne Keen. She would visit Millie’s room next, to show her her bloody trophy.
