Sage - Rank 0 in the House of X's leadership and a Mutant with the power to manipulate objects on a molecular level by touch, allowing her to reshape her environment, eliminate projectile attacks, activate or de-activate (which is usually lethal) Mutant X-genes, and take X-genes from mutants (which is also usually fatal) and give them to another mutant, combining the two genes into a new, mixed power. One of Mr. Sinister's 7 daughters, each named after an herb or spice of some kind, she was called Sage. Being a child of Mr. Sinister, she grew up in the lap of complete luxury, especially as her mutation was seen as one of the best among his daughters for its ability to manipulate the X-gene. She felt hollow being limited in such a way however, and wished to live a life with more risk to it. Her wish was eventually granted when the House of X largely fell apart in the aftermath of 2020's Genoshan genocide, and her father retreated from the public eye, entrusting what remained of his master's organization to his daughter. She was pleased to finally be challenged after living a life of near-total luxury, and rebuilding the House of X from effectively the ground up has been one of her great joys for the past 10 years. She recognizes it's possible she's not Cassandra Nova's chosen successor, and isn't truly bothered by it, being willing to serve the true successor if she turns out to be another person.

Her personality is normally very relaxed and confident, and hardly raises her voice at all, even when speaking to enemies. If things start going off her planned trajectory however, she'll become quite angry and have a more annoyed tone of voice, as well as being more prone to threatening terrible things towards her enemies - and her allies if they failed her. She's quite the smug individual, but not so much that she expects her plans to be foolproof in execution, and can adjust to failures extremely quickly - even knowing to retreat whenever she can't find any way to salvage a given situation. She is incredibly intelligent and inventive, and delights in creating new forms of technology and coming up with intricate plans, to the point her geeking out whenever she finds out a new breakthrough can be almost cute in a very subdued way. She values her servants, but hates when they assume she can't handle herself, and as such her bodyguard Satsujinki will only interfere when it becomes clear she can't handle a given opponent. She tries to act friendly with organizations that ally with her own, be it the Brotherhood of Mutants, the Ten Rings, or the Hydra Remnant. However, if they fail her in her eyes, she will threaten to cut off all supply to them. Her relationship with her father is complex, as she hates how he doesn't see her as a worthy heir to himself, but also respects him as a brilliant man and her creator. Likewise, she's on good relations with almost all of her family. She also treats immediate subordinates like Satsujinki, Chimera, and Xorn well.

She acts surprisingly casual in her everyday attitude, even having a sense of humor, especially when it comes to facing her enemies, usually in a derogatory manner. Her casual attitude seeps into her workplace attitude, often eating simple things like delivery chinese food rather than fine meals her vast reserve of cash could get her. She rationalizes that it's pretty fun playing the part of somebody "poor" after so long living in utter bliss, and that her massive amount of cash is better suited to being used to fund the HOX's operations. She cares nothing when people die or suffer in her presence, especially as a result of her own mutation, and even has a sadistic attitude when using it on unwilling people, whether she be activating their X-gene, or painfully killing those without a latent X-Gene by giving them one. Her sadism combined with her casual and somewhat sarcastic attitude makes her feel somewhat similar to her predecessor as leader of the HOX, but the lack of a truly terrifying presence and endless, spiteful cruelty doesn't mean she fully matches up.

She wears a black jacket with a prominent, red fur collar, as well as a golden X design on the back of the jacket. Underneath this jacket, she wears a strange sort of undershit/jumpsuit combo taking the form of a type of mesh she herself created out of black, hexagonal patterns, which covers her entire upper torso and arms. When necessary, these tiles can retract on her hands, allowing her to use her power with them. She wears a black belt with a futuristic, golden X buckle on it, and has black dress pants with black pinstripes on it. Her shoes are stylish and black, and have golden X-patterned shoelaces. On her lower face she wears a black gas mask of some sort, without any filters on it and strapped with black strips which go over and under her ears. On this gas mask are two prominent tubes which cross to create an X design. Above her eyes but under her eyebrows are strange black "frames," which at will (using chemical signals with her power) release glowing red, futuristic looking shades over her eyes, which act as her control interface for the drones she primarily uses to fight, which take the form of floating spheres with glowing red X designs on them, splitting the spheres into four sections which can individually extend to reveal weapons and tools. Her short, but not exactly boyish hair is lilac in coloration like a sage flower, and she has narrow eyes with prominent eyelashes, giving her a somewhat creepy look. Her eyes are pale gold with X-shaped pupils.
