Thank you for deleting that unfinished atrocity from our cute little nest!
Perhaps it could be time to discuss this kind of matter with other administrators, as unfinished buildings like that in front of other homes can be... "less fun", no?
Kind of lack of respect to other players, to just leave "trash" like that, in my opinion.

I think it has nothing to do with disrespect but more that they don't read the rules or got bored with the game .
It is a delicate questions as most people don't have the time to play this game like you and me for example , so the 3 day warning sanctioned by us is a good way to clean them up .
I know it was there for a long time in front of your home , but if you would have pinged them sooner we would have been able to pick it up sooner as wel , instead of waiting till they pass the 30 day mark for example.
We do our best to find as many of them as posible when we make our rounds , but in the end it is realy hard to get them all as the map has a lot of surface to be going over meter by meter .
So for now we keep it the same and hope people wil keep reporting builds like those , as you saw in Disandoned buildings she actualy had 2 of them unfinished , and even when they both were unfinished it is only fair to give her time to respond when we give them the time limit .

I guess you kinda missed the point here.
And despite the nice words and reasoning, one fact remains:
People that leave one build like that abandoned for so long seldom comes back. I was referring to the long time allowing players being inactive, and bloating the server and (many times) breaking immersion.
Perhaps you do not see this as disrespect to other players, but that common apathy is exactly what it is. many times an abandoned building doesn't bother anyone, but sometimes, it does. If i choose to build a home in front of yours and don't care to either finish it or destroy it, i would be lacking of respect with you and your gameplay.
So whatever the reasoning may be, in this case, apathy or disrespect is something that stings in the eyes of ones that want to keep the "magic" in the game.
The rules states this this and that and I know them very well... But then again, isn't supposed to be "the spirit of the law" rather than the "word of law"?
However, I am not discussing the chance you gave her to finish the build. It is, in general, a bit of a stretch to let an unfinished structure on the server for a month before deleting it, and that is what i meant.
There were discussions of bringing it down to 2 weeks. Therefore i said it would be wise to discuss this again with other admins.
