[19:25] <OvermanXAN> "I wanted a chat with you. About Rei."

[19:29] <DinnerXAN> "Nothing to do with her being a Seal Maiden or having magic powers. At least, not unless one of the perks of those is unconciously attracting the affections of other girls."
[19:31] <@Sandwitches> "...  Huh?"
[19:33] <DinnerXAN> Kei sighs "So far, she seems to have got all three of your daughters, Kohaku, Hisui, Lou, and maybe Arturia head over heels for her. Well, your daughters also seem to be interested in someone else, but..."
[19:36] <@Sandwitches> "What?"
[19:43] <DinnerXAN> "I'm serious, Sakura."

[19:44] <@Sandwitches> "I'm not surprised by Lou...  But The Nanaya twins, Arturia, AND My girls?"
[19:47] <OvermanXAN> "Yes. I found out from the Nanaya's yesterday, and your girls just a few minutes ago. Arturia's a guess on my part. though. She's close to Rei, but I'll admit I can't see into her head, and she's old enough that she's harder to read than the others."
[19:48] <@Sandwitches> "A-and?"
[19:48] <OvermanXAN> "And what?"
[19:48] <@Sandwitches> "What are we going to do about this!?"
[19:49] <OvermanXAN> "Which part of it?"
[19:50] <@Sandwitches> My girls and Rei are a step away from being SISTERS.  They can't be..."
[19:51] <OvermanXAN> "Not genetically."
[19:52] <OvermanXAN> "It's hardly unheard of for siblings to marry into the same family."
[19:53] <@Sandwitches> "Kei... no...  All three of them being in a relationship with Rei like that...  No..."
[19:54] <OvermanXAN> "... I'd agree with you, but there's nothing we can do." Kei shrugs.
[19:54] <@Sandwitches> "What!?"
[19:58] <OvermanXAN> "My kids said she had this... type of relationship. And that you didn't interfere." Kei gives Sakura a helpless look "I'm not risking blowing all of us up with a time paradox or catapulting us into a radically different future by having you change that. At least in this future I know that everyone survives" Her eyes narrow.
[19:59] <@Sandwitches> "Were you told tha tmy girls were involved in it?!"
[20:00] <OvermanXAN> "It was implied."
[20:01] <@Sandwitches> "All of them?"  Sakura looks agahast
[20:03] <OvermanXAN> Kei shrugs "I'll try to remember the details for you, but let me also point out that all three of them are set on it. About where would you put your chances of disuading them if they REALLY want to?"
[20:05] <@Sandwitches> Sakura just stares at Kei, looking hurt.  "W-why are you telling me this."
[20:09] <OvermanXAN> Kei's voice softens "Because I thought you'd want to know... I thought you'd be happy about it." She walks over to one of the walls and hits her head against it in frustration. "I'm an idiot. I should have known."
[20:11] <@Sandwitches> The womans eyes widen and she leaves her cooking to rush to Kei's side.  "Don't do that to yourself."
[20:17] <OvermanXAN> "... Can I not even just do one good thing on my own, outside of fighting, without hurting someone I care about?" Kei's voice wavers, as she does her best to stop herself from crying. "Am I that worthless?"
[20:20] <@Sandwitches> Sakura's eyes turn stern, and she takes her future daughter in law by the shoulders and looks her straight in the eyes.  "You bring joy to my son... To Ibis... To *ME*...  And you are going to make a fine mother, I'm sure of it.  But you will NEVER be worthless."
[20:23] <OvermanXAN> "..." Kei is speechless. She's not the type of person who'd go on and insist she's worthless in the face of something like this, but at the same time it doesn't make her FEEL any less like a piece of trash.
[20:24] <@Sandwitches> Sakura wraps her arms around Kei and holds her tight."
[20:27] <OvermanXAN> "Can't even make Ibis feel better..." Kei mumbles.
[20:28] <@Sandwitches> "You did...  If you're going to trsut me on anything trust me on this...  You did..."
[20:29] <OvermanXAN> Kei sits still in her soon-to-be-mother-in-law's arms for little longer. "T-thank you."
[20:36] <@Sandwitches> "I'll be here for you when you need me...  You know that, right?"
[20:39] <OvermanXAN> "Yeah... I've just... It's been difficult... trying to force myself to stay cheerful and determined..."
[20:40] <@Sandwitches> "that jsut makes it that much harder when you crash Kei...  ANd it happens to everyone at some point."
[20:43] <OvermanXAN> Kei just buries her face in Sakura's shoulder.
