I am 50/50 on following meta builds/comps and following off meta builds/comps.  With pvz I follow quite standard builds and go into the standard ica storm into carriers tempests etc.  with pvt I have a special opener I have kind of melded together from different playstyles but then I follow the zest/sOs style of mass gateway units with good upgrades and a high economy.  In pvp I dont even know what im doing so I just build good units and hope for the best. I like to mix things up for all my matchups except pvz because i like to be able to catch my opponent off guard a little.  The reason why i follow pvz in a standard fashion is because I was unable to derive my own viable build despite many months of experimenting.
