  1. With the upcoming full moon all werewolves will be forced into their werewolf form for the entirety of the day and lose themselves as per Uncontrollable Beast for the days full length.
  2.
  3. This is something everyone with the affliction has to plan for and deal with in some way IC, be it locking themselves away for the day, or allowing themselves to go crazy on the population of the sim. This decision is entirely up to the character IC and we won’t force anyone to fight that would lock themselves up, but it is important to know that such actions would be strongly against the religion of Malar and those that consider it a blessing instead of a curse. This will possibly have an effect on the affliction and werewolves of the sim, depending on how many reject Malar’s goals.
  4.
  5. Now to go along with the fact that werewolf characters are unable to use their standard side compared to normal days, on the full moon all werewolves will have all of the werewolf moves and their regeneration will not be turned off from silver (though it still does +1 damage to them).
  6.
  7. The end result would give a werewolf character these abilities:
  8.
  9. Werewolf
  10. Bite And Claw (2d6+6); Your HP; 6 Armor
  11. Close, Messy, Knockdown, Inflicts Lycanthropy - Defy Danger: Con
  12.
  13. Special Qualities:
  14. Regeneration - You heal 3 HP every round.
  15. Weak to Silver - Silver weapons deal +1 damage and do not affect your regeneration.
  16. Apex Predator - +1 Ongoing to STR or DEX rolls for your Bite&Claw attacks.
  17. Beast - Bite&Claw is rolled as Hack&Slash and gains the same bonuses from other moves. You lose access to all other non-basic moves (including +Armor/+Damage moves), abilities, ongoing spells, and equipment you have.
  18.
  19. In general fighting everything is your first thought, though using Flee when badly injured (less than 10HP) or when severely outnumbered (normal ratio rules) is fine. With the natural regeneration that all werewolves have, once out of a scene you will quickly heal to full to be able to fight in a different area.
  20.
  21. Minus all the damage details and rolls for combat and such… it has been noted several times within our website what would happen when a werewolf shifts. Unless people mis-interpret which is very clear in this sentence “While an uncontrollable beast you no longer consider anyone an ally, even fellow Werewolves. You attack the last person to attack you each round, and if someone does not attack you, you attack randomly”
  22.
  23. - The WW has been the way it has for months now except for clarifying Apex Predator and Uncontrollable Beast so that it is clear you also attack other werewolves, which should have already been obvious as it clearly states you no longer consider ‘anyone’ an ally.
  24.
  25. - The full moon has always been marked for WW as forcing shifts and is one of the built in drawbacks to playing the affliction. Being a WW is not all positives, and the full moon and the possibility of things going wrong is part of being a WW.
  26.
  27. - Yes, you will have no control over your shift, but you still have the option of ‘caging yourself’ to remain safe and unharmed during the full moon if it is something your character would consider doing.
  28.
  29. - Are we as administrators disappointed? Yes, people are choosing not to follow the lore of the sim when it comes to the alignment of the werewolves and are too afraid of player consequences to partake in the negatives of their affliction. In Orius we don’t expect people to be so emotionally attached to their characters when they choose to make them evil and with an affliction that makes them targets and sometimes uncontrollable. All players have the option and ability to not let a character turn into a full werewolf by getting it cured before taking The New Me.
  30.
  31. - You are not being forced. The only reason for potential consequences would be if someone walked up to you during the full moon and one of the following happens:
  32. 1- You do not RP your shift.
  33. 2- You log off when the sign of consequences is heading your characters way.
