Gaiaverse Episode 1

Celante Town, a small and sleepy town with a small amount of people, is the hometown of the main hero who's silent ever since the day of his birth....Our hero is currently lying in his bed chilling while listening to some music on his MP3 whereas his sister comes inside of their room with a scowl as she begin to rummage through some things for something...Eyeing her, he take his headphones off and look confused at her. She stop and look towards him.

"Yo, you seen that book I took from the library?....Yh, that very same one....Cause apparently it's a special heirloom for some old boomer..beats me, no one can understand the logic of a boomer leaving stuff of theirs in other places....check the desk?"

She walk over and open the drawers of the desk and smiles as she grab the big and old-looking book and nods at him.

"Thanks Jalen, I'll be back as soon as I can....I won't get into any fights on the way there, jeez....Love ya to, bro."
She put on her brown leather jacket and head on out of the room and make her way down south of the town after saying bye to their moms....

Moments later, Jalen gets a knock on the door where he gets up and open the door to come face-to-face with one of their moms, a dark skinned black  short-haired woman with a tomboyish look on her, Hinoka Faraday.

"Oh Jalen, there you are...Nothing's wrong, But I wanted to give your sis these letters....They're from the professor, he seems to be looking for some help for his projects and gave these to parents close to his town....Yh, it's high time that you 2 begin a journey like me and Camilla did....Sweet, thank you! You should be able to catch up with her down south of here.."

Jalen nods and take the 2 letters, hearing a familiar ping in his head as he see the letters disappear to the void of his [BAG]. Hinoka also reach behind her and hand him 2 pairs of Nike running shoes.

"Also, here, take these...These shoes were built for long periods of running and will help you out...Now go get going!"

Hinoka watches as Jalen nods and turn around to jump out of his window and land on the lawn outside, wearing a blue/black jacket that's zipped up with his backpack and Rin's in his hands as he walk down south...

"...That boy, as silent as he is, is rather over the top..."

With Jalen, he is making his way down south when he sees Rhiannon walking towards him with her hands in her pockets..

"Yo!" She sees him and nods as she approaches him."What's up....That old woman was kinda pushy...fucking boomers man..wouldn't shut up about her book or how much it meant to her... Jalen reach into his bag and hold out the 2 letters for Rin to look at, as she take one and open it up..

"Ehhh? What's this?....a letter from the professor?...Wait, he want us to.....holy shit, we're going on a journey! Sweet!!" She fistpumps as well as nods as Jalen pull out the Nike Running shoes and hand her a pair..
"Man, we got new shoes as well, huh? Cool..."

Rhiannon slips her new pairs of shoes as does Jalen, she soon turn towards him.

"Well, shall we get going? You can lead the way."


Jalen nods as he and Rin soon make their way to the library where the professor awaits them, before that, they make a stop at their house to say their farewells to their parents(Well...Rin does at least, hugging Camilla for a long period of time with Jalen swore that they hug a bit longer than he thought..then again, Jalen don't know that Camilla dicked Rin a couple of times with Hinoka watching..) as they gather some stuff from their rooms and then finally leave out of their house and walk towards the library..

They soon stand before it where Rin is busy pumping herself up while Jalen is just standing there with no emotion on his face..

"Man, how can you just be so chill about this? We're about to get our first Pokemon!.....I see, busy thinking on what starter you wanna pick...well, it all depends on what regional trio we get I suppose...I wanna get the Grass starter if you don't mind however...Ah, you're choosing either a Water or Fire? Sweet!"

The twins walk inside the library, seeing some of the residents reading up on books of various subjects...they slowly walk their way towards the back after asking about the professor who wanted to see them...

"You know..." Rin speaks up as they head towards the back, where destiny awaits them.. "I'm gonna miss this place, When I wasn't going around being my usual charming rogue self..I was in here reading up on Orbtus's history with a passion..I've told you many times about the lore of The Elders and the 4 Regis, right?....Of course, I wouldn't shut up about them, I'm glad I didn't bored you with them tho...."
They eventually walk inside the back room where an older man in his 50's with greying hair and a stylish brown suit on. He smiles as he walk to them.

"Welcome! I'm Professor Redwood, and I wanna say my thanks for you two for coming here! May I ask your names?"

Rin gestures towards herself as she begin. "I'm Rhiannon Faraday, and this guy here is my older twin, Jalen Faraday."

Redwood nods as he look at Jalen and raise an eyebrow before Rin clears her throat.. "...You'll have to excuse him, he have Sairento..."

"Oohhh...I see..." Redwood nods with understanding as he soon claps his hands and point towards the table where 3 Pokeballs are sitting there.

"Well, I'll cut to the chase, I have 3 starters from the Sinnoh region and I am in need for some assistance on taking notes on the ruins here..."
He continues as the twins stay silent.. "They are Turtwig, the Grass Pokemon, Chimchar, the Fire Pokemon, and Piplup, the Water Pokemon!"

Rin's eyes shine as she hear about Turtwig while Jalen rubs his chin...Chimchar or Piplup....which one would he choose...

Jalen walk past Redwood while debating before placing his hand on the Pokeball that contains Chimchar and nodding to himself...
Suddenly, a loud sound of a clock being broken rings out as the colors in the world disappears around Jalen....Who is gazing at the Pokeball while holding one hand up and pulling down a electronic [MENU] with [POKEMON] selected..

"Let's see here..." In this special zone, Jalen's the only person that can talk as everyone else is just silent and still...he can't move either, which sucks as he learned as a child...but back to the main point, he selects Chimchar's profile to check his stats...

"Hasty...great IVs...Male...not bad..." _A selection come up before him. [DO YOU WANT TO SELECT CHIMCHAR? YES/NO] He taps [YES] and unpause time as the colors warp back to the world.

"Ah, Chimchar! A fine Pokemon for you!." Redwood nods with a big smile as Rhiannon walk up to the table. "Well, You chosen yours..so I'll do the same!" As Rin reach out and grab Turtwig, Jalen pause time again to [SCAN] Turtwig..

Literally God hereToday at 12:14 PM
"Brave....great IVs as well...Female...Not a bad choice, Sister.." He nods as approves of this mon for Rhiannon and unpause time..

"I choose Turtwig!"
Rhiannon clip the Pokeball on her hip as Redwood nods

"Allright, now that you all have your Pokemon! I await for you two at Archan Town at my house for the Pokedex! There will be others there as well, so try to get along!"

Others? Jalen muses...he wasn't expecting to travel with others beside Rin, and judging from her expression, so was she...

Redwood leaves them and as the twins walk outside of the library, Rin step before Jalen and smirks...

"We're trainers Jalen...do you know what this means?....Yup! It's time for a battle! Let's do this!!!"

Rin throws out her Turtwig and Jalen does the same for Chimchar...Jalen look to the right corner of his eye and see a menu with [FIGHT ,ITEM,POKEMON,RUN] with a cursor hovering over [FIGHT]

Weird....he will have to get used to this...

The fight goes on with Jalen being on the heavy offense as Rhiannon goes on the defense...raising DEF with Withdraw until Chimchar gets lucky with a crit and KOs her after a long battle..

"Goddamnit, you got lucky with that crit!....Oh, shut up!" Rin pouts as Jalen smirks and pat her on the head...Rin shrugs and walk back to the house...

"We better heal our mons and then go on that trip..."

The 2 twins return home, heal their mons and then head back on the road to the start of their journey..
