  1. Overview
  2. ########
  3.
  4. Strong Jaw Crunch allows Mega Sharpedo to clean offensive teams with ease late game combined with its coverage while smashing stall team **at condition that the opponent team have been weakened**. (modifié)
  5.
  6. Scolipede LO can deal with Sharpedo because he has the same ability, He will always be faster. (modifié)
  7.
  8. Usage Tips
  9. ========
  10.
  11. Remove Thundurus-I **AND KLEKFI** whenever you can get a chance. (modifié)
  12.
  13. Against stall teams, Mega evolving right away is essential to break huge holes in the opponent's defense, **EXCEPT IF YOUR OPPONENT HAS FASTER POKEMON**. Mega Sharpedo does major work against this archetype, and 2HKOes pretty much every relevant Pokemon with correct prediction. (modifié)
  14.
  15.
  16. Team Options
  17. ========
  18.
  19. Stealth Rock is mandatory to wear stuff down and allows Mega Sharpedo to grip OHKOes and 2HKOes late-game. (retiré)
  20.
  21. Focus Punch Breloom can put the things that piss off Mega Sharpedo to sleep and surprise beats Talonflame. (retiré)
  22.
  23. Bisharp also discourages the use of Defog allowing you to keep hazards on the field. (déplacé vers Teammates)
  24.
  25. Talonflamme can beat priority attacker such as Scizor, Breloom and Conkeldurr that Mega Sharpedo fears. (add)
  26.
  27. Baton pass SD Celebi can allow Sharpedo to get more OHKO.
  28.
  29. Magnezone is the best partner for Mega Sharpedo, he can trap and kill steel types that can beat Sharpedo.
  30.
  31. The combo rocky helmet + rough skin to Garchomp Bulky Defensive helps sharpedo a lot, because physical attackers like landorus T are being worn down really easily
  32.
  33. Spikes and Toxic Spikes are welcome as well along with any residual damage. Spikes provides more damage for Mega Sharpedo to abuse, and Toxic Spikes allows it to abuse Protect for chip damage. Scolipede makes an excellent lead since he can use both Spikes/Toxic Spikes. It encourages your opponent from leading with a priority user such as Talon flame while you can kill it with Rock Slide or weaken it with Endeavor assuming you're running Focus Sash. Against non- Priority Users teams it can just spam the crap outta both hazards, Tentacruel can be played as a Toxic Spikes setter if your team is oriented balance or bulky offense as he has a correct bulk. He can also spin Entry Hazard and absorb Toxic Spikes due to his poison type.
  34. Spikes User like Skarmory and Klefki can have the same role as Scolipede in HO team, Skarmory can be played Custap Berry and spam spikes, Klefki can also spam spikes and runs dual screen, as tentacruel, they are bulky, so they can be played in balance or bulky offense team. Ferrothorn can also come in a balance team for the same reason
  35.
  36.
  37.
  38. Other Options
  39. ########
  40.
  41. Life Orb, but Mega Sharpedo's Crunch is really missed and it is easy to wear down with LO recoil and more frail meaning it can't live like a single priority move - outclassed by Scolipede too. (retiré)
  42.
  43. Poison Fang can threaten bulky pokemons like Chesnaught which is one of its best checks, and provide 2HKO against Mega Altaria and Azumarill, **ALSO CAN EMPOISONED.** (modifié)
  44.
  45. Surf **OR SCALD IF YOU WANT TO BURN** can be used over Hydro Pump if you hate missing, but you lose necessary power to plow past crap like Skarmory. (modifié)
  46.
  47. Taunt can prevent pokemon such as Skarmory, Scizor, Mandibuzz from using roost.
